3 {3} Battle In The Fort

[Ahem, anyway! Think the word 'status' in your head to open the... I don't know how to describe it. I created a knock-off of the Skyrim system from your memories, to make life easier for us...Oh, and I just described it, hehe...]

Adrian grunted before mumbling status in his head. When he finished, a faded black screen appeared with a cross in the center with an arrow on each point, a word beside each said point.

[Now you just have to think which option to choose, or which directions to swipe. I'm pretty good at copying things aren't I?]

Adrian looked at the floating words and symbols in curiosity before thinking of the 'Skills' option. The screen then changed to a see-through galaxy smoothly falling into his vision with constellations of different shapes floating above names, numbers, and bars.

{This is a fanfic, and there are literal pictures of this stuff, so I'm not describing the Skill Tree anymore}

Every Skill was pre-set to 15 with no perks unlocked from the multiple Skill Trees, so he noted that he needed to grind his ass off in the future. Below all of the skills were three different colored bars, blue, red, and green. The blue bar had 300 above it, but the red and green bars both had 500 above them.

After looking at everything, he thought about going back to the main screen, and it did, so he continued and went to the magic tab on the left arrow as it swished to the left, and a see-through faded black screen with white text similar to Fahdon's text speech in the red void appeared.

There was a list of words, ranging from schools of magic to powers and status effects. He went to the effects and a darker shaded screen extended out of the first screen with the following words under each one:

[Giant's Strength: The blood of a giant flows in your veins, making all physical features 25% percent stronger.}

[Voice of A modern World: You come from a political world and you have practiced in the art of deceit. All beings are 25% percent more likely to trust you.]

{Art of Combat: You have veteran experience in battles, able to learn combat-related skills 25% percent faster. Your natural intimidation is 25% percent more effective; Stacks with intentional intimidation.]

{Inside Voice: For having another being fused into you seamlessly, your soul is 50% percent stronger. Magic is 25% stronger. Magicka is increased by 25% percent.}

Adrian was slightly surprised seeing the number of effects he had, and how each one was quite the effect as well.

[Damn that's overpowered!]

"Where did you get your vocabulary tendencies?" Adrian didn't recall cursing very much.

[You used to deal with people who cuss every other word all the time. Besides, this allows me to let out all my frustrations! Anyway, check what Magic and Powers you have!]

He shrugged in response and went to check the destruction section, only to see a flaming ball of fire floating in the air, 'Fireball' as the title and "Blasts a large fireball that explodes on impact" as the description.

The only other thing besides those two was a tab listed 'Power', which he promptly viewed. What popped up was the list of Powers he currently has.

[Stomp: Once every 10 seconds, stomp the ground, flinging the target multiple feet(2-3m) into the air. Levels with Adrian.]

[Giant's Roar: Once every 10 seconds, release a guttural roar that devastates weak-willed targets. Can cause physical damage as well as psychological fear-mongering.]

[Imaginative Innovation: Due to being a being not of this world, you are not bound to every law. Able to create spells within any magic school following the most basic of laws.]

Adrian thought about how strong he is, and how maybe not even the Dragonborn could defeat him. He then pondered who the Dragonborn would be, if there would be one at all. What if he wasn't near the End of Times? What if Alduin doesn't resurface for thousands of years? What if Alduin has already been banished?

[Well, isn't that a little OP!]

"Only a little bit." He replied expressionlessly.

The next few minutes entailed him walking around the meadowy forest exploring the new world, wearing the oversized tribal clothes of the previous giant, along with a giant bone club the size of his leg.

After reaching the end of the meadow forest, he saw a field with a crumbled tower with stereotypical bandit-like people, iron and fur armor with metal weapons along with simple longbows, resting around like a certain 10-foot(3m) tall Giant battlemage can't just fling a fireball right at them...

Although he already assumed they wouldn't try talking to him, he decided to greet them neutrally as he rested the bone club on his shoulder. When he got close enough, a group of people noticed him and jumped to their feet as they readied their weapons and alerted the others.

"It's a giant! Just its toes alone will give us food for days!" An Argonian said in his raspy voice. Unsheathing his daggers as he called for backup.

Adrian gave up immediately after hearing this and readied his club with both hands. The only people who came to the Argonian were the ones guarding the outside of the tower, the ones on the insides seemingly ignoring them.

The enemies approached in small, spread-out groups, 3 pairs of 2, clearly prepared to face a giant. Adrian stopped walking towards them and simply waited, his eyes staring holes into theirs. He could see their emotions clearly on their faces, as well as some of them losing confidence the closer they got.

After they got close enough, Adrian's statue-like demeanor vanished, and he sprung onto the left-most group with his club slamming down. His club crushed one into the ground, blood and flesh splattering as he destroyed the leg of the other. He didn't like the club so he let go of it, going unarmed.

He punched the stomach of the crippled man's throat, cracking his neck and killing him as he glared at the others. They still had the confidence of the larger numbers, so they continued to rush at him as he prepared to stomp.

In case just stomping didn't work, he planned ahead and imagined himself using the Skill in his head as he smashed the ground with his foot, and a small quake erupted from the cracked ground, flinging the closest duo into the air and disorienting the farthest.

He grabbed the legs of one of the enemies in the air and slammed them into the ground head first, destroying their skull and crushing their shoulders. He then grabbed a fallen too-small sword and stabbed it into the fallen enemy's heart, before turning to the now frightened last enemies.

One of them began to make a run for it as Adrian grabbed a wooden spear and threw it directly into the chest of the fleeing man, before turning to the last one. It was the Argonian who rallied the attack.

"P-plea-" Adrian didn't let the man finish before slapping him in the side of the head, killing him instantly as his neck broke at an uncomfortable angle.

As the limp body was slammed into the ground, Adrian looked to the crumpled wall and began to walk over to it and pulled himself over, but not before he picked the bone club back up, just in case.

After landing on the ground in silence, he was immediately showered with arrows, which he didn't try to dodge since he needed to know how durable his body was. He covered his face and braced for impact. After the wave of arrows was over, he opened his squinted eyes and looked at the smaller humanoids staying against the walls in an attempt to hide their presence, there were around 10.

He ignored the scratches with small dots of blue blood seeping out as he glared at the enemies.

After seeing them all freeze in terror due to him being nearly unfazed by the arrows, he lunged over to the closest one that was wearing fur armor and smashed the club he was carrying onto her head, splattering her brain matter, blood, and bone pieces onto his bare feet. The onlookers either fainted from fear, watched expressionlessly as they accepted death, or died from a heart attack.

And so, the giant made his first appearance in the world of Skyrim.
