1 {1} Life Of Killing

{This chapter is done with editing, and I shun myself for not capitalizing basically anything in the past}

Adrian Jager was just getting ready to go to bed after he beat the game Skyrim an uncountable number of times. Adrian is quite a unique specimen, he has a burning passion for Skyrim even though he has almost no interest in other games, including others in the elder scrolls series.

He was born in a family of hunters, so he naturally had an interest in wildlife, hunting, and survival skills. He was preparing to go camping for a one-month vacation from life and everything to do with life's social structure. He loved the wilderness, all the organisms living together, working together to form a link of survival, he thought it to be incredible.

He is currently 30, living off of the things he hunts, and the training program he created for the new generation. He doesn't have to pay much since the land he owns was passed down from his father, and the vast connections he has made over the years practically throw their money at him.

Right, I almost forgot to tell you that when I said a family of hunters, I meant it. His family will hunt anything and anyone for the right amount of money

Do you want a kid's cat to disappear? Pay the equivalent of a child's sadness for losing a companion. Do you want a bear to die because it keeps existing? Pay enough for the disruption of the food chain. Do you want the president to be assassinated? Give enough resources for the mass panic, fear, and other side effects of a country for the consequences of losing its public leader.

Just kidding, they don't care about the aftermath, just the money they get and the target they kill.

Back to the story, Adrian was currently trying to get his socks off, when he hears an ear-piercing whistling sound coming from the sky. He pauses while listening before closing his eyes with a blank expression on his scarred face. If he couldn't tell what that whistling sound was he might as well bomb himself. Oh, right...

When the whistling bomb fell, Adrian, his home, and the forest surrounding them were incinerated, and he was slowly forgotten by the living inhabitants of the earth...

When he woke up, Adrian found himself in a dark red void, floating around in his scarred and muscular body. He's currently thinking back on how he won't be able to get his one-month vacation, or maybe he's thinking about why he's in a red void...

As he is thinking about how he will haunt whoever bombed him, a floating see-through panel appeared in front of his face, with faded black for the background and white for the words, the panel reads:

[YOU DIED]

"Really? I never would have thought that." He grumbled. The panel, as if processing this kind of response, stayed still. Right when he was about to touch the panel, the words changed, instantaneously, and showed:

[I have judged your character and will decide to stay with you in your next life, allowing you to keep your memories. As your body is currently too weak to hold me, I will pull a body out of your memories strong enough. Please choose which body you wish to have:

Giant

Dragon

Yeti

Mammoth

"That's a lot of options," He says, completely disregarding the fact that a floating screen has said it will follow him in his next life and will be giving him a new body. After a little bit of thinking, he decides to go with the giant.

[As you wish...but...may I ask why?]

"Because I can."

[Who are you?]

"Adrian Jager, world-class hunter. Who are you?" he replies, nonchalantly.

[I...don't know. When I gained self-awareness, I was floating in this eternally unending void. I don't really know who I am...]

"Well isn't that sad... Hmph, your name is going to be Fahdon from now on," He looks away while mumbling.

[I-..thank you...]

"Mm...Now what?" he says.

[Now that you have chosen to be a giant, what do you want to change?]

"Change what?" He questions the panel, having no clue what was happening.

[You chose a giant that I pulled from your memories. That giant is not what you want to be, but the race of what you want to be. So, what changes to your new body do you wish to announce?]

"What giant from my memories did you choose? There's a few."

[Since most of your positive memories are from Skyrim, I assumed that is what you would be most fond of.]

"You were right. I want to be healthy and fit. Make me stronger if you can, as strong as you can without any consequences. Get rid of the tattoos and wrinkles, change the face to what I look like in my mid-twenties without the scars. Give me smooth dark brown hair that reaches my shoulder, and no beard. Make my finger and toenails normal, and make my fingers slimmer."

There was a short pause as Fahdon processed the list of demands before they spoke.

[...Okay, all of this is doable, as for strength... The most I can do without giving up space for your memories is the strength of a real giant... What about magic?]

"Magic... What is the limit for my Magicka? And after all of this is said and done, where am I going?"

[I will try to breach a hole into a different world, which would be Skyrim. If I fail, we will both cease to exist. If I succeed, we will both be integrated into a giant and I will change its features. Don't ask how, I don't know either, it just pops into whatever I'm using to think. Also, for Magicka, if we cut down on unneeded memories, I can make it equivalent to around 600 at max.]

"Hm, sounds like a nice way to be wiped from existence. I don't want any of my memories removed."

[Okay. Physical changes are doable, the strength of a giant, 300 Magicka... That's everything. Now, try not to get incinerated by the void!]

After Adrian finished reading that, his vision turned dark, and he lost consciousness. The last thing he saw was a starry black rip in the red void devouring him with ease.
