3 Day one

I woke up. Feeling refreshed, haven't sleep so peacefully for awhile. We were allow to do what we wanted before the afternoon, where we'll be taken to the place where the experiment is going to happened. Project X is what they call them. I sat alone in the open garden. Looking at the clear blue sky, once again I find myself thinking about my love and family. A tall shadow creeps in, a familiar yet dangerous figure approached me.

"Adam, wasn't it?"

I turns around to see, it's the big researcher that started everything.

"Greeting sir..."

"Max."

He replies shortly. His cold eyes gaze into mine. It gives you chill, his aura is intimidating.

"Sir Max"

He pulls out a cigar and lights it up.

"Want one?" He asked

"No, I don't smoke."

The silent creeps in slowly. Max slowly choke his cigar. His cool eyes stare off to distance. Chilling and dangerous.

"Why?"

He asks. I figured he wanted to know the reason why I accepted to be the part of this whole process.

"I want to meet my family." I answered. Because it is what it is, I want the freedom, to see my wife again.

Again, he stops talking.

"Have you ever thought that.... maybe you wouldn't survive?"

"No" I answer with confidence. To be fair, I'm running into an unknown territory. An abyss which I can get a glimpse of what awaited at the end. All I can do is be hopeful.

".... I wish you survived"

He said before dump his remain cigar on the floor and twisted with his foot. Those cold blue eyes look at me. Instead of comforting, it feels like a prey looking at you. A reaper waiting to collect your soul.

"Thank you, Max"

Just like that he went back inside.

The project started officially.

All of us 5 people are being taken to a room. A wide room enough for 5 people. A sealed chamber with table with 5 chairs, a bookcase and 5 beds, running water and toilet. We were told that each of us is allowed to lay on the bed only 15mins every 12 hours. It's not a bad condition at all.

The room is still spacious despite all of the things, it has one metal door that locked, a microphone we were told that we can communicate with the researchers, a speaker for the researchers to response to us, a 5 inches glass thick porthole, a camera recording our moment. Nothing unusual, nothing that seems to be noticeable.

I was lucky enough to get a book and pen. So I begin to start my dairy to record this moment. I feel like I could write a book about it after it's finish. The whole crazy stuffs going on. Lunch time finish and we were told that we can do whatever we want. We were advised to exercise regularly and keep up with the routine. Everyone went about to do their things. No one really talk to each other. Even the guy that talk to me on the bus, he hasn't approached me since then. I guess there's nothing to talk about. We're all criminals and the thing we want is freedom. To get out of here.

Nothing really happened that at all.

As soon as the door close, we can feel a present of a new unknown scent in the air.

We were told that this is a simulation that prevent us from falling asleep.

I don't really care because all I hope for is the freedom that's been promised.

Max stood in the corner and monitored the chamber. A sealed Chamber with 5 alive human that have been putting in a risk of the unknown. The unknown of messing with the nature.
