1 Prologue

In a time long forgotten there was an ancient text that laid hidden deep within the walls of the church. Many tales have been told of the dark and hidden secrets of the ancient times, but we have forgotten these tales and there destined to repeat themselves once again. Before I begin, I must take you to the place where it all began and of the four brothers and sisters who help create this world. The land, sea, and skies were barren and dark.

Then from the emptiness arose four godlike beings whose names were called upon in many tongues and paintings. The eldest was Asalvo, the keeper of good and peace, the second was Skrium, the wicked and conjurer of the damned, third was the sister Eheia, goddess of magic and beauty, the youngest of them all was Epnir, god of shadows and deception.

Each god and goddess had one mystical being by there side.

Asalvo created a white wolf from the tears from his eyes, this great wolf was white as freshly fallen snow and wings whose feathers was softer than silk. Skrium created a fiery basilisk from the fires of his heart, the snake like being had eyes so evil it can strike a man dead and burn his soul. Eheia created a faun from her hair, the faun was tall, and his body smelled like wet earth after a night of spring rain, but he is wise of all things soon to come. Epnir created a shadow dragon from the whisper of his black soul, the dragon was dark as night and quiet like the dead. With the creatures by their master's sides they each developed a part of the world.

Asalvo created the skies, Skrium created the sun, Eheia created the seas and rivers, and Epnir finally created the earth. As time passed on creatures and animals started roaming the earth, plants grew everywhere, finally appeared humans. Centuries have passed, and the world was just like how Eheia's faun had predicted. The gods have watch as each part had become different than the next creatures have grown stronger and man still weak. The gods went down to earth and fought these creatures but Skrium had an evil plan he hid and found some humans and gave them a power called alar with that knowledge, they became aware of power inside of them and began to hunger for knowledge of the world. After the battle, the gods returned to the heavens. They laid dormant for two hundred years as the gods awaken from there long slumber, Eheia's faun told the gods that there was something he knew was amiss with the human world.
