"It's alright, Rei. Don't blame your maid too much, if I was her, I would be equally excited to rediscover an important memento that I thought was lost. But, to be honest... This carnelian brooch is just a bit too cheap to match you, so if you don't mind, can you give it to me? I happened to be an avid collector of gemstone sculpture," said the King as he looked into Rei's eyes with a smile.
Slightly surprised by that request from the King, Rei sheepishly nodded.
With a subtle smile, the King took out a small piece of silk and wrapped the brooch with it before putting the brooch into his pocket.
"Uhm... Your Majesty, the lunch is almost ready. Do you want to have the lunch in the dining room? Or we can just have it in the small dining area in this room." Rei asked, trying her best to hide her awkwardness.
"Hmm... I guess it's better for us to move to the dining room, I wouldn't want to pollute your room with the odour of food." said the King.
