Chapter 14: Mrs. Thompson's Deep Love for Her Daughter

These people were anxiously rushing around, and a few even started crying.

Seeing Molly standing there, they hurriedly approached and asked: "Miss, have you seen a woman in a red dress, around fifty years old?"

The one asking was a young woman, her eyes reddened, and there was a slight tremble in her shoulders. It was unclear if it was out of worry or fear.

Molly shook her head.

The young woman cried and continued her search elsewhere.

She remembered reading gossip news that Mrs. Thompson had some mental issues since her daughter went missing, and needed many people to take care and guard her. She never thought that such dramatic gossip news could be true.

Mrs. Thompson was quite pitiful.
