1 A contract with gods and goddesses
'To think I would die from an explosion, it's laughable.' Thought Leo our protagonist.
Leo was a 26 year old assassin. He started his life with all the emo protagonist boxes checked out.
1. No family
2. Lived on the streets
3. Taken in by friendly couple
4. They were killed
5. Taken in by the killer
6. Trained by the killer just to kill him
7. Killed the killer and became a killer
8. Turned out to be a handsome introvert
Yep everything checks out. He died on a mission to kill a well known mafia family head. He was a famous assassin so of course they knew he was coming after them at some point and today was that day.
Leo snuck into their warehouse killed the lackeys then got to the main office. The thuggish boss was there and did something Leo didn't expect. He shot himself square in the forehead and his head blew up.
It wasn't a normal explosion it was like an C-4 was in his head because the next thing Leo knew he was on the ground with his face burnt to a crisp while thinking about how he just died.
[In a upper realm]
Leo now lays afloat with his body like astral projection. He's been woke for he doesn't know how long when 3 light pillars shoot down in front of him.
'That's a bit dramatic' Leo thought as he watched the pillars light dim to show 3 people. They were like giants compared to him. At the very least they were about 10 meters tall.
"Leo I am Zeus the god of gods. I am here along with two of my brothers to give you a chance of a lifetime." Zeus said like he was the almighty god.
"I am Poseidon the god of all water on the planet." Poseidon said in a calm voice. The next to introduce himself was Hades.
"I'm Hades, god if the underworld." Hades says with a more neutral voice.
"Since you already know me what is this opportunity you want me to take?" Questioned Leo making Zeus chuckle. Honestly Leo didn't like Zeus he was just a god who went around having sex with any woman he found good looking gave some a child and didn't even try to provide for them at all just to put them through a "trial".
Even though he didn't like him he still didn't show it. He listened closely to Zeus as he spoke. "The opportunity I along with the other head gods and goddesses is that you will get another life to live, but you have to take contracts from us and kill some problems in different timelines.
"So you want me to live my second life like my first and from how you put it I'll be a time traveler." Leo sums up with a monotone voice and sleepy look an his face.
Hades burst out in laughter making his lava like veins pulse with magma. Leo just looks at him while the other gods chuckle.
" HAHAHA, haah..ok listen you won't be some time traveler but you will go to different multiverses and clean up a few people and creatures that we don't have time for." Said Hades getting himself under control.
"Yes, you will be going through world and time like those anime worlds. You will also get 5 blessings from gods and goddesses. It will be random but a blessing no less." Poseidon said calmly with a grin.
I nodded and Zeus spoke again "Ok so will you take this chance or not I have some 'work' that needs to be done. I showed a quick face of disgust but hidings it instantly showing a sleepy look again.
"Sure I'll take it. Could be fun going into anime." I said to the three gods before me. They disappeared in a flash of light and all I saw were lots of white floating orbs that floated around me when one shot into my forehead another into my chest, one in my arm an orb from behind shot into my back and the last one dove into my stomach.
After that I immediately saw a swirl of light and darkness.

Waking up into an alleyway Leo started thinking of his situation when he got a message in his head {Leo this is Hades your watcher since I am a core god. The world you are in is something you have to find out. You have some good Luke kid because lots of famous gods and goddesses have given you a blessing. Your first one was me. We had no choice over this some of our power were pulled from us and into you.}
Hearing this Leo just nodded letting Hades keep talking {You we're given my underworld flames, letting you burn anything if you train it to a certain degree. Next you were blessed by Athena the goddesses of wisdom. You will be able to process things fast for a better out come. Next Apollo you will have some control over the light and when strong enough some of the sun. Then Artemis you will have inhuman instincts and your perception will increase the stronger you get.}
Leo was silent about this and looked uninterested but was really intrigued by all these gods and goddesses. He said some luck this is amazing luck. He just got for big gods and the next made him groan a bit.
{Your last blessing was from Frey's the goddesses of love and beauty. You will have to train to get stronger like ever other Demi-ahem. Like everyone else.} Hades finished obviously covering the whole Demi-god thing.
"Is there anyway for me to switch out a blessing for another. I'm not a big people person but with this cur-blessing won't that attract people." Leo complained. Hades chucked a bit and simply said {no. It's not like it'll attract your soul mate just makes you more likable. Like any ice prince. You'll be fine now start training you could be in a dangerous world.}
Leaving Leo to start his training and to think up a plan Hades went silent.
Leo started by looking at his surroundings. There were little to no people passing by even though it was the middle of the day. He liked the alleyway since it was nice and quiet.
(Leo POV)
'The first thing I need to do is start with a foundation so my normal training should be good before the magic stuff.' I thought. I had already known from my voice that I'm about five years old but if this is an anime world and a dangerous one the laws of my world already doesn't matter.
As I came to that conclusion I started doing stretches and popping my joints for flexibility. My normal training consisted of push-ups, jumping jacks, planks, Russian twists, jogging, then sprinting.
Leo got to his training while thinking of when that contract would come in.
