3 Execution!

"Mom!" Zai Kuro cried out, but Tchi Ya laid on the ground with eyes opened wide and her body – unmoving. Blood seeped out from her wound – dyeing the ground below in purple. Tears formed in the boy's eyes and he cried out in despair, "Mom!"

He turned his head towards the man that held him in place and shouted, "Let me go!" He tried getting free from the fully armoured – peacekeeper 23 but he couldn't move even a single inch. The man ignored the shout of the boy, not allowing him to move. "Let me go!" the boy shouted at the peacekeeper one more time but this time with anger in his voice.

The man showed no reaction to the boy's shouts, he simply stood in one place holding the boy – unmoving.

Zai Kuro snapped his head back to his mother. His pupils constricted as he saw a huge pool or purple blood below Tchi Ya. "Mo–m!" he called out again; his voice cracked.

Tears stained his face and he called out in a cracking hoarse voice again and again, "Mo–m! M–om! Mo–m! M–om! Mo–m!

"This thing is annoying," the leader of the peacekeeper group thought. "Knock him out and let's go!" he ordered.

Peacekeeper 23 immediately obeyed, he with his open hand hit the boy's neck and the boy blacked out. "Let's go!" The leader of the peacekeepers said before walking out through the door; the other peacekeepers followed after him. The last peacekeeper to leave the building was peacekeeper 23.

An unknown amount of time passed; the boy's eyelids wavered and his eyes opened. "What happened?" he thought. A breath of time passed and memories came back rushing into his head. He didn't even look around his surroundings, he only lowered his head and mumbled in a low inaudible voice, "Mom!" his eyes teared up and sobbing echoed through the space he was sitting in.

Three hours passed and the boy's sobbing stopped, he now only sniffled his nose every few breaths of time. Another hour passed and the boy raised his head, the first thing he saw – were the iron bars in front of him. "Did those men bring me here?" he thought and turned his head to both to the left and to the right. He saw concrete walls around him and nothing else. There were no windows and no light from outside came into the cell. The cell was illuminated by a weak orange light that came from a lamp that burned in the hall past the iron bars of the cell.

"Why did they kill my mother? What did she do to them?" he thought and memories of the events that led to his mother's death flashed through his head. He lowered his head and mumbled, "They came for me! Not my mother!" As this realisation hit him, footsteps sound came from beyond his cell.

But he couldn't hear the footsteps as one thought came rushing through his head over and over again, "It was my fault! It was my fault! It was my fault!"

His cell door opened and a man dressed with the same armour as the peacekeepers came into his cell.

The man frowned when he saw the boy muttering to himself, not even looking at him. He came up to him and kicked him. The boy was sent flying and he spat out a mouthful of blood. The boy awoke from his self-blaming looked at this fully armoured man.

"Your execution is nigh! Come with me!"

Zai Kuro looked at the man, "Why did she have to die? She did nothing wrong!" he said.

"Are you referring to the woman that died as she tried to protect you? The man sneered, "She disobeyed the peacekeepers and the penalty for such a crime is death!" The man burst into laughter.

Zai Kuro looked at the armoured laughing man and he jumped at him, "I will kill you!"

The man stopped laughing and with his hand pushed down Zai Kuro to the ground and glared at him with killing intent, "Article 6 Clause 1 threatening a peacekeeper or peacekeeper trainee is punishable at severe cases by death and light cases by beatings." The man sneered, "We have a few minutes till execution starts!" A vicious glint flashed through the man's eyes.

The man released the grip from the boy, he pulled back his hand and punched towards the stomach of the boy, he coughed out a mouthful of blood and the man dressed in armour smiled. He launched a second, a third and the fourth punch and each time, the boy coughed out blood.

After four punches the boy couldn't move a muscle, couldn't speak a word he only had enough strength to barely keep his eyes open. The man looked at the boy and smirked, "That should be enough for now, we don't want to kill you before the main attraction after all!"

Zai Kuro with half open eyes looked at this man and thought, "I will kill you! I will avenge my mother! I will kill all the peacekeepers!"

The man walked up and threw the half awake boy over his shoulders. The boy had no strength to struggle or fight back, he could only stare and do nothing. The man with the boy over his shoulder walked out of the cell and he headed out of the prison; as the boy was carried he lost his consciousness.

The man carried him out of the prison and carried him all the way to a platform where the boy was to be executed. Once he stepped on the platform, he saw a man in front of him, the man wore peacekeeper armour and cape.

The man threw the child off his shoulder, kneeled down onto the ground and loudly said, "Peacekeeper trainee meets peacekeeper 2!"

Peacekeeper 2 nodded, he glanced at the child and frowned, "Why is he so beat up? I was told that he was not injured in any way."

"Sir, he threatened to kill me and I acted by article 6 clause 1 and roughed him up."

"I see, then you are justified, go and get some water after he wakes up the execution will commence."

"Yes, your lordship!" the trainee peacekeeper rose up to his feet and walked off the platform and soon disappeared. The man took a child with his hand and carried him over to the edge of the platform, at this edge, there was a wooden tool to hold a person's head in place. He put Zai Kuro's head into the tool and tightened it, then looked below the platform. "After that trainee returns we will begin!" he thought after seeing the gathered crowd below.

Before long the trainee peacekeeper returned and he carried a bucket of water with him. "I have brought the water, peacekeeper 2!"

"Wake him up and we will begin!"

"Yes, sir!" Trainee peacekeeper with a bucket walked up to the boy and poured it all, over his head. Zai Kuro's eyes snapped open and he saw a crowd of people below him. They like both of his parents had blue skin, long tails and horns that were also their ears.

"Why can't I move?" Zai Kuro thought.

Peacekeeper 2 walked up and stood beside Zai Kuro, he cleared his throat and addressed the crowd, "Thank you, everyone, for showing up on this glorious day! Today, one more freak of nature was found and today once again this freak of nature will be removed from our glorious society! Today our society will become pure once again!"

"Am I going to die?" Zai Kuro thought.

The crowd bellow – whistled, clapped their hands and cheered. Peacekeeper 2 smiled, "Without further ado let's start!" He extended his gauntlet and from it, a weapon appeared, it was the same weapon which was used to kill Tchi Ya.

The crowd below cheered when they saw it.

Zai Kuro moved his eyes and saw a familiar weapon in the man's hands, a pale expression appeared on his face and he thought, "Sorry, mom. It doesn't seem that I will be able to avenge you! I am sorry!"

Peacekeeper 2 looked at the boy and in a loud clear voice shouted, "Be purged!" The man cut down towards the boy's neck but right before the blade could connect a sudden explosion rang out and the man stopped the weapon an inch away from the boy's neck. Peacekeeper 2 looked towards the sound of the explosion and frowned.
