1 "Another Dimension" Chapter 1

...??

"Where am I?"

Slowly opening his eyes, the young man took a deep breath. Looking at his surroundings, he realised that this isn't afterlife.

(I can't remember anything, I thought I was dead, was that a dream?.)

There were many more thoughts going through his head while he clenched his hands. Making a painful expression he closed his eyes.

.....flashback...

(OK let's start of with a simple introduction, I am Yoon Taemin, a 23 years old university student and a novel writer. )

(Life was very boring for me, I didn't even know what I liked, but as they say all good things must come to an end. That's how I was hit by a truck and my life was taken).

Yoon Taemin slightly wiped the non existing tears he has.

(I don't know if I should be happy or sad. But all I know is I have to get out of here to figure out further).

The young man slowly stood up as the place was narrow, he felt like there was something in front of him .

"It feels like a door, but the place is small..."

Yoon Taemin was deep in thoughts for a moment.

"Perhaps a closet door it is, I should break it open but I don't know what is outside".

Yoon Taemin started hitting the door, and did not realise it was open all along.

"Somebody open the door ple-... ouch!".

Yoon Taemin fell on the ground as he made a sorrowful face.

"Ugh!"

Yoon Taemin suddenly realised something.

"It looks like a carpet so I am not outside?"

He was still confused about the unfamiliar place. So he began to look around, starting with left to right.

(It's safe nobody is here maybe, I should crawl away).

The young man had quite a happy expression which at some point was kinda dumb. He carefully began to crawl forward. But still he got hit by something on the head.

" What a bad luck I have "

He made a dissatisfied expression.

"How long are you gonna stay at my feet?"

A shocking but fearful expression was showing on Yoon Taemin's face as if every words of that sound was carved in his mind.

(There is another person!? how did I not see)

He put his head up as he was shaking. At the very front he saw a black figure sitting with one of their leg up and the other one in front of his face.

(Perhaps it's dark so I can't tell the gender but by the muscular looks it is a man for sure)

Yoon Taemin stood up yet again and backed off right away as he knew this man was dangerous.

"Mind telling me what a stranger like you is here for? are you here to steal something?".

The deep voice made Yoon Taemin shiver nonstop but, still he needed a lot to know since it was once in a lifetime case for him.

" I actually don't know where I am, this might sound crazy but I think I am in another dimension ".

Yoon Taemin clenched his hands. He was nervous of how the person in front of him will react to this.

"Well I don't think you are lying but still you gotta die"

Those words were enough for Yoon Taemin to go blank .

(Is this how I die, I thought I was dead but now I am at some strange place where I have to die again?).

[Enough teasing, can't you see how terrible he looks].

The young man got confused yet again.

( What the- a floating box that can talk? am I hallucinating or is this really a dream and I just have to wake up).

"Pffffttt.... sorry I was just trying to look like a villain".

Yoon Taemin just stood there not moving an inch as he see the scary person burst out of laughter in front of him.

[Well stop it before I make you one]

" You should know how to chill"

[How did you became the main character again. Because I only see hopeless stuff from you].

" Stop seeing then and explain something or I think the person in front of me will never move".

Yoon Taemin finally came to his senses and started talking, "Sorry but could you still explain where am I?"

[Sorry I forgot, you are in a spaceship and currently inside you're very own novel].

Yoon Taemin shook his head to both side before fainting and falling on top of the carpet.

"Oh my it seems like he couldn't handle the shock what a bad person you are making the poor author faint"

[ Whatever it was you who did it anyway, so what should we do now?].

"Perhaps we should just observe".

The stranger slowly stepped in front of the light. Making his face visible to the light.

[You really are a twisted person].

"Thank you for such a high praise"

The man slowly smiled at the floating box.

[crazy potato..]

....Dream...

Yoon Taemin once again opened his eyes finding himself in a rooftop. It was not just any rooftop rather a memorable one .

"Where am I again? it looks like a familiar place".

Yoon Taemin looked at the front, and was a little nervous of what he saw.

(It looks like a student, why is he smiling at me, his face is not really shown because of the light his words are also silent, but the uniform he is wearing is from the high-school I went to).

Yoon Taemin was constantly out of breath as he thought about it. Not a moment later he rushed out of his bed. It seemed like he was trying to inhale properly.

(What kind of weird biscuit of a dream was that?).

[A nightmare I think].

Yoon Taemin stared at the weird object for quite a few seconds before opening his mouth.

"Weird floating box that can talk".

That was enough for the 'box' to throw a tantrum.

[Look I am not a box I am the narrator of this story! and you saw me back there so why are you confused?!]

After all this tantrum Yoon Taemin's expression was as plain as ever which couldn't make the situation any better.

[Hey expressionless duck, I don't know how messed up your life is but if you can't help me then I am killing you even after you die! ].

Yoon Taemin slightly tilt his head as he said, "help?".

The narrator calmed itself a little bit before speaking.

[ I need your help for the man you saw back then to follow the story script].

Yoon Taemin looked away as he said, "how am I supposed to do that?".

[Look he asked for the author of this story to come and then he will do everything].

Yoon Taemin was still confused. The box let out a sigh as it continued to explain what is going on.

[Do you remember this story?].

The confused man scratched his head.

"I do remember that I made the female lead and main character meet at the very first chapter of the novel".

[Yes! that's what you have to-]

Before it could finish the sentence a girl rushed towards the door as she was holding onto a lot of plates.

"Ah- food is here!".

Yoon Taemin kept staring at the girl as his eyes could tell his time has come.

"Who is she?".
