The air thundered as Grey flew at Mach speed. He then suddenly stopped when he saw a minor god cornering a young girl . This young girl possessed extraordinary destruction energy, his target.
The minor god jumped high and descended on the girl. The girl dodged in a panicky way. The minor god crushed the ground leaving piles rubble .
He then blitzed to the girl raising his massive ready to deliver the blow.
BANG!!
A shockwave was created uprooting the trees around the vicinity. The girl closed her eyes awaiting her death but pain never came. She slowly opened her eyes to see a man with a physique of Adonis holding the arm of the god.
" Grr... Stop getting in my way " The greek god roared before throwing his other arm which was caught.
Grey applied pressure making the god fall down in pain.
" Come on fellow god. You have to understand she is dangerous. She is after all the destroyer. " He said in a pained whimper.
Grey gave a small smile to the god . The god's facial expression relaxed . Maybe he wasn't going to be killed. However the next proved to be a fairy tale and the imagination of the god.
" Hakai !! " Grey said and a strong burst of destructive energy entered to the god. He howled in pain as he dispersed in purple light.
After Grey concluded his business, he turned to the girl who was around 8 years old . She had white hair, elf like ears and red eyes. Her gaze reminded him of the god he had encountered earlier.
" What is your name little girl " Grey asked as the girl slightly cowered in fear.
" Umm Alyssa " She said in slight fear.
" Hey Alyssa , am not going to hurt you . My name is Grey and I'm kinda like you " He said with a charming smile making Alyssa feel more relaxed and she did.
" Do you have a family or a place to go to . "
Alyssa shook her head but suddenly Jake arrived, excitement was clear on his face.
" Young miss !! " He shouted .
He flew to hug her but Alyssa hid behind Grey. Grey on the other hand glared at the creature making it stop and rethink.
He then curiously glanced at the girl.
"Young miss it is me Uncle Jake " He said before he turned himself into a small blue and stylish humanoid flame spirit.
Alyssa further cowered in fear making Grey highly distrust Jake. Jake however was deeply bothered by this and his flame flickered softly.
She pulled Grey's shirt making him reach her height and then whispered a few words.
Grey's calm demeanor greatly distorted to an expression of an unfiltered rage .
" He did what ?!! " He said in anger as destructive aura erupted from him .
Jake sensed this and all his senses told him to run.
' I got to tell my master about this behavior "
But before he could run away Grey caught him .
He screeched in horror but when he saw the icy expression of Grey he stopped in fear.
" Take me to your master " He said in an expressionless tone .
Jake's fire froze for a second.
' What has this creature inhabiting young miss said ?' He thought.
He nevertheless refused making Grey smirk .
" Let us go meet your dad. " Grey told Alyssa in an ice cold demeanor . Alyssa was scared at first but she slowly nodded her head.
Grey then turned his attention to Jake and was about to use his destructive energy on him but he suddenly teleported away.
Grey didn't say anything , he princess carried her back to the farm . He landed softly because of Alyssa and dropped her . Alyssa stood back behind him.
Cole got out of the house and a look of surprise appeared in his face when he saw Grey with an undesirable killing intent and Alyssa or rather who possessed her staying back shyly behind her.
" Oh you brought back the imposter , many thanks " Cole said as he slightly bowed in Grey's direction.
Grey got more angry with that.
" Shut up you fucking failure of a father. How could you torture your daughter like that " Grey said angrily.
Cole tilted his head in confusion.
" Torture? That is quite absurd I have never tortured my daughter. " He said.
Cole then looked at Alyssa . A small smile imperceptible to people but quite perceptible to Cole appeared on the imposter.
' Oh so he thinks this youngling with no battle experience and ' powerful ' aura is enough to kill me . Hmm a risky and stupid hater possessed my daughter ' He thought before his eyes flashed red and murderous aura descended the area .
Grey widened his eyes in surprise at the display of power but he needed to act fast. If he touched this failure of a father he will disintegrate.
His leg muscles clenched and with a burst of speed he jumped leaving a web like crack on the ground and speeding up to Cole . He reached out his but at just moment a strong aura pinned him to the ground.
He looked at Cole's face and saw his eyes glow blood red.
The imposter seeing this was shocked and tried to flee but Cole caught her.
" Hmm really pathetic. My daughter could have easily dodged that and would rather fight to the end than run away . " He praised.
His mouth opened widely and a large suction force that took the around him appeared.
The imposter started struggling as a blue light got out of her mouth. Grey's eyes widened.
" Stop goddammit !! " He yelled but the aura being exuded didn't make him move.
The blue light entered Cole's mouth and her body went limp.
Cole's aura stopped as Alyssa's body slowly fell down to the ground.
Cole took it and carried it in a bridal style in a somber tone.
Grey wanted to attack but his instinct coupled with Cole's somber tone told him that would be dumb of him.
He watched as he suddenly disappeared with the corpse.
Grey was left stunned. He was weak, he noticed that and when the child died his anger disappeared completely leaving him to evaluate things.
He remembered how Jake tried to approach the girl and how she refused and further more told him how her father had tortured her to fighting and killing people and if she refused she was given the worst tortures such as the iron maiden
But was it true ? Seeing the look on Jake's face and the somber and loving expression of Cole made him thoroughly rethink.
On the other hand he needed to control his personification of childhood divinity lest he do another stupid thing.
Suddenly Cole appeared .
" Oh you are still here . Do you wish to kill me still " Grey thought for a while and shook his head.
" I believe you. Am sorry for causing so much trouble. " He said his head lowered.
Cole smiled slightly.
" You saved me a lot of trouble of looking for that imposter anyway. Besides I understand it is due to your childhood concept. But I won't fully forgive you unless ... "
Cole's aura returned with half the effect. Grey assumed a fighting stance with fear in his eyes. He had never fought anyone who could eat souls what if eats his?
" You work with me in my garden for a month . " His aura receded and a genuine smile appeared on him.
Grey looked at this strange man.
" I tried to kill you and for punishment you want me to do such an easy task ? " He asked.
Cole nodded .
" There are also good benefits such as my apples . " Cole tossed an apple at him. Grey caught it and looked at Cole suspiciously however he decided to eat it and was he glad you did .
" My power increased ? "
