126 Final Clash!

Noah woke up, he stood up and stretched. He didn't enter and fight the Serpent, instead, red Martial Combat Qi covered his body as he walked towards the ocean.

He stepped in the water, he walked further and further on as if it was flat ground. He eventually stopped, looking down he saw the ground ten meters deep. He was able to stand on it effortlessly.

His training had finally succeeded. He was able to use his Qi to walk on water as it was land. He could even stand on it. An added benefit from this training was gaining better control of the Qi in his feet, allowing him to run faster as well.

He then walked back to the beach and entered the cave. He still hadn't shown it to the Serpent, he wanted it to be a surprise today.

Noah buffed himself as he entered, with each step a colour of light shined (Strength Boost, Speed Boost, Bulk Up, Wild Swordplay, Curse of Self Harm, Death's Dance and Cold Mind) as he finally released Abyssal Fear.

The Serpent had also gotten used to fighting Noah the last few days and understood him well. It noticed how Noah grew with each fight. Noah had grown to the point it had to take him as a serious threat to its life.

Noah cannoned off the ground, the Serpent dodged, It couldn't evade completely and had the blade cut its scales.

Going past it Noah landed on the water as he continued to run with small splashes. His gun shooting Explosive Bullets.

He activated Halo of Raindrops as the torrent of water attacks came in. His body flipped around like a gymnast as he weaved through the attacks.

On the water, he finally was able to get a better look at what was inside the pond. The sides were made of dark stones, it went deep into the ground where light stopped reaching. But at the bottom was a blue glowing pearl he hadn't seen before.

It was at a weird angle so he hadn't been able to see it from above.

'Is that how it heals?' Noah thought. He had assumed that the Ancient Water Serpent was able to heal in all large bodies of freshwater. Seeing the pearl, it started making sense to him, it had to stay near it which was probably why it never tried to leave the cave either.

The Ancient Water Serpent swam like a dragon as its body moved in and out of the water to chase Noah on the surface of the pond.

The water attacks were more fearsome. Twisters of water formed around him coming to grind him to bits. Noah avoided them and appeared close to the Serpent.

Noah cut a few times, but its body had turned into flowing water, so he retreated. The Serpent reformed and shot water from its mouth.

Noah danced around its attacks, he then spun and disappeared, he reappeared behind the Ancient Water Serpent completing his spin and slashing the serpent. The attack was too fast as the Yin Yang reinforced Sword Cut.

Noah disappeared and attacked again. He kept on going like this drinking potions as he got hit. The Serpent was finally injured enough.

'It's going to go heal.' Noah thought. He aimed the Helleborus down as he shot bullets. The pearl released a barrier that blocked all the bullets he shot. The Ancient Water Serpent dived in quickly and entered the barrier healing completely.

'My hunch was right, but I hadn't sensed the barrier, let's see if I can even destroy it...' Noah pointed his gun at the pearl it was quite far. Lock On, to make sure he hit. Black Cero!

The Black beam shot in smashed through the barrier and hit the blue pearl. The power cracked the shiny surface and then split it apart. BOOM! A colossal amount of energy was unleashed from it!

"F*ck!" Noah cursed feeling danger encompass him. He had made the wrong move. He Flash Stepped multiple times and reached the door but was still too slow.

Crack! (the sound of Ice spreading)

The pool of water instantly froze, then a wave of ice spread out from it covering all surfaces in the room. It immediately reached the door before Noah could, blocking it with ice.

He tried to teleport out. But the system notified him he was trapped.

[You are within a field attack, you may not leave.]

Noah turned back from the frozen door. The whole room was covered in ice and the temperature continued to plummet even after it went below zero. His breath fogged as he had ice start to form on his body and armour.

Hearing a sound Noah got ready for combat!

Swoosh!

The Serpent came out from the pool the same way it did the first time they met, this time its body was white with light blue designs. Its eyes were no longer yellow as they had turned a shade of light blue.

The pressure it normally released had disappeared. Its body felt like it no longer had weight to it as it moved. White gas flowed out to the ground from its mouth and nostrils, making it seem mysterious and ghostly.

Its appearance in the room emitted bone-chilling energy that caused the temperature to suddenly drop by tens of degrees. The painful sensation from the cold had passed and he was already numb all over. The only reason he wasn't freezing to death at the moment was the Secret of the Four Seasons: Winter Style and his armour. They both resisted the cold around him.

Noah looked into the blue eyes and gripped his weapons tightly. If the previous one was arrogant and unfeeling this was a new whole level. It was basically emotionless. Noah could feel a similarity to it and the Cold Mind state he was in.

He pulled out a potion from his Spatial jewel Pouch.

[Berserk Potion]

All attributes increase by 20% for 10 minutes.

He only had one such potion drop until now and had been saving it for later, but now he didn't have a choice. He chugged it down as he felt stronger, reapplying all the buffs on himself.

He Flash Stepped before he could finish. Thin and long icicles had stabbed the spot he stood. More continued to form around the Serpent and hit the place he appeared, his body jumped and rolled in the air letting them zip past him.

Sik! Sik! Sik! Sik! Sik! Sik! Sik! Sik!

Noah landed on one leg flipping about and Flash stepping away, His Qi empowered body helped him stably run on the icy ground, his path was curved towards the Serpent as the icicles formed a trail behind him.

The casting speed increased, as more of them shot at him. To the Serpent shooting them was easier than breathing. The Cursed Requiem was brandished as Noah started to slice the icicles coming at him.

He Flash Stepped and came closer to the Serpent, just before he disappeared again an enormous lance of ice had formed. It whooshed towards him.

Noah had ice crawl up his legs locking him in place. His sword moved up as he used all defensive skills he could still use. Six Mana Shields, Crystal Shield, Defence Up! The spear broke the mana shields like they were paper. It didn't break the crystal shield instead pushed it, dragging him from behind it. The ice holding him broke as he flew with the spear. The pointed tip pierced the crystal shield midair and hit his sword. Noah felt the blade sink in his gloves as he held it with both hands.

He slammed into the wall back first holding the sword an inch away from his chest with the spear tip stuck to it. Low Heal!

He then Flash Stepped out and saw the Serpent double casting, one of its spells finished. White fog burst out from its body and filled the area.

Noah's view was filled with white. Even sounds were muffled. He couldn't sense anything from his main senses. Relying on his Spatial Sense he knew where the Serpent was. His body flickered as he appeared close and sliced with his sword and shot with his gun.

He was late, the second spell was cast and its ice body shattered before he could hit it.

The ice that fell combined and formed six smaller serpents. They then whizzed at him like white bolts of lightning.

Noah teleported away, when he reappeared his body had cuts all over. He felt the cold penetrate into his body.

No time to mull over it he disappeared again, a frost serpent passed by. Their smaller bodies increased their agility greatly making them supremely fast and deadly.

The bigger Frost Serpent was already faster than the Ancient Water Serpent, but these were a whole new level. He ended up limiting himself to quick movements.

Cold Mind worked in overdrive as it slowed time from 4 to 5 times... feeling the cuts continuing to form he used more power pushing to 6 times then to 7. It drained his mind but he needed to survive. He had already passed the limit his body could handle but he pushed through with conviction.

He backflipped and let the Serpent pass slashing it as it did. Another one broke through the white fog from behind which he succeeded in ducking under, he slashed up. His attacks were now hitting but he felt like he wasn't doing any damage.

Manoeuvring through the six, Noah moved at high-speed small movements, attacking back each time he evaded an attack. Cuts now covered the Serpents, but he was finally able to see them long enough to know they weren't alive through his Critical Hit Eyes.

'Where is the real one?' He couldn't sense anything else, he then felt a strong flux in mana.

That's where the seventh was. It was about to finish casting a spell with six magic circles forming a cube. Each one was light blue in colour and intricate in design. The mana it emitted out now was ten times stronger than the Catastrophe spell the Goblin King had used.

Noah appeared near it, 'I need to cancel it.' Silent Screech! Insanity Venom!

Silent Screech was completely ignored, while Insanity Venom worked. The Serpent had already gained resistance to it after he had used it so many times but it seemed like this Frost transformation was considered different from the monster it used to be.

Yin Yang Reinforcement! Darkness Descent! Noah followed with quick slashes, the Serpent was no longer as defensive as it was before. Noah was able to leave a few dozen slashes in moments before it attacked again.

It struck forward, its mouth opened. Noah about to dodge was frozen to the ground.

He used Mana Shield but it shattered, all his other defensive skills were on cooldown. He raised his arms to block as he gained a red glow, Curse of Self Harm.

The snake bit into his arms. He used his left arm to block the upper jaw while his right to block the lower. Each one held a fang while the other fangs pierced through his arm near the elbow.

The curse worked well. It had reflected back the damage using a lot of mana. The snake biting into him convulsed.

His left wrist bent as the Helleborus in it aimed into its mouth, Black Cero!

BOOOM!

The beam went in, the Snake body stretched as its insides were destroyed. The outer corruption had already weakened it greatly. It was the final hit.

Its body fell to the ground lifelessly.

Ding!

[Well Done!-]

Before Noah could care about anything else he removed the fangs from his body and took out as many potions as he could using his leftover mana, to bring them to his mouth.

The fangs were covered in ice poison that spread through his arms. Turning them into solid ice. He used Mana to take out an antidote stone into his mouth to no avail.

It had already reached to his left shoulder. He knew if it reached his heart he was dead.

'F*ck! F*ck! F*ck! What do I do?' He couldn't think of anything other than his body dying. Low Heal didn't work and neither did all the healing items he had.

He thought of the True Wood Staff but its skill was for revival not healing and he couldn't use it on himself.

'I need to contact Alice before I go!' He took out the green crystal and activated it but just as he did the poison reached his heart turning it into ice.

Ding!

The green crystal fell to the ground as Noah's heart stopped beating...
