7 Different and Indifferent

'…This isn't a book!

Atleast not like the ones I was given by Mr.Salvatore…These look very similar to "Instants"! But…it has a physical form! And the quality isn't good at all…Can this be an older version of that?'.

The second book levon pulled out was in fact a photo book!

Levon finds himself looking at pictures, though he relates them to what is now called "instants" which are the modern-day version of photographic pictures.

Being curious about this, he starts analyzing the first one.

As he stated, the book was in quite a bad shape as he had gone through a lot of time and conditions, but somehow Levon found no difficulty in grasping the details of the picture on the first page! As if he had a zooming option in his hauntingly beautiful pupils.

The picture showed a little baby, too little to accurately assess the gender. Held so carefully by a man whose face wasn't inside the picture frame. It had a very cute and genuine smile, the teeth had yet to grow and the eyes still did not fully open. One can presume the baby was no older than 3months at that particular instant.

What also caught Levon's attention, was the background. It was an open space, the shadows of the tall man, the trees and flowers around gave the impression that it was a sunny day.

Which drives Levon to make a remark on that. '…Such weather only comes once or twice in a whole year! I've never seen flowers like these as well. Looking at them, somehow…makes me feel something!'

Then, he shifts his gaze towards the baby once again…Never in his life he held one in his hands, nor even came close to one. He isn't interested in the least on top of that. But something about that baby and smile…

"…Who may these two be?"

Trying to find the answer to that, his mind pushed him to scroll his eyes just a little bit down the picture, where something was written.

" 19/03/2051 "

"…This is a date! Possibly of the day this happened…If my assumption is correct. That is around 54years ago. 54…

54!! That is…Mother Elena's age! So, this must be…"

The image in both his mind and between his hands started to get clearer, but his curiosity got even bigger…it was time to look at the second picture, this time, it's the same baby, apparently making his first steps!

" 08/11/2051 "

Right away he assumed that all following pictures are going to be her. He was wrong! As he turned the page, the next picture had about 17people in it!!

All shapes, ages and sizes, male and female. Levon never saw a group of people like that gathered in one place! It wasn't the quantity, but the smiles, the hugs, the vibes coming out of it that were something very new to him…

Their clothes also, are nothing like the ones worn today…Some are even funny for Levon himself, they covered most of their bodies, and had variety of colors.

" The Vanko Family, 27/09/2057"

Another little side note was added this time:

*I love my family.*

Levon is truly amazed, and cannot even hide it…

He looks back at the picture once again, then gets it closer to his cat-like eyes.

'6 years later, she must have changed but not very much…I can detect similarities with my eyes…She must be here!

…There are two girls of around the same age, they look so alike!

I can't decide which one is her, but either one could be…Actually, I've never seen two people look so much alike like this!

Just…How was the world back then?! And why it feels so much different?'

Levon grabbed his chest tightly, it suddenly felt so heavy…

Abruptly!! He stood up. Put the two books aside and headed towards a big black board on the wall. With a single touch it suddenly lit up, and the room lights turned off instead!

"I want all the data collected on the world before the Natural revolution.". He says

it was presented in front of him by the speed of light.

• Number of results: 219

Levon. "Filter all the official sources."

• Number of results: 19

"Good thing I was given special access to all of Kush's data by father Robert…those 19 files wouldn't have appeared if not for that!

It's time I check them…All the 200 have been checked before, they say about the same, that what we accomplished now are built upon the accomplishments of those in the past. The 7heroes being the saviors. And that the world was divided to multiple countries throughout the globe. However, tales about how humans lived, what they've done and even about how humans came to be…are never mentioned."

Levon gives his orders. "Open file N°1."

It was a big file, and he knew it was going to be a long night…

He'll go on to spend 5hours in front of his big green digital board. When he finally looked at the clock, it was 3Am, the 20th of June…

Up until now, he was done reading 17files of the 19! His eyes were about to pop out of his face, the blood circulating from his body to his brain, made his veins appear clear on his skin due to the intellectual effort he's exerting. Which is very, very odd for an atrociously intelligent person such as him! Who doesn't break a sweat in the lab.

"…This is frustrating!

Each file says something completely different. The first mentioned an ever-lasting war from the beginning of humanity til the natural revolution occurred, the 2nd talked about something I never heard of called "Fate"! That everything humanity has done and will do is already planned from an unknown entity, that was too farfetched for me to even consider. Another file said that humans were put from another planet and left behind, so they conquered earth, until once again the "aliens" that put them on it tried to wipe us out, and we escaped by a "miracle". Which is a word I don't know either…

Maybe I shouldn't have thought that these unofficial files that made their way somehow to the platform would hold something worth finding out about… But since I've gone this far, an additional two wouldn't be a problem. 3hours of sleep were always enough."

He opened the 18th file, contradictory to the previous ones! It's short. Only one paragraph.

Which said…

"There was life, there was peace, there was war, there was love, there was hate, there was doubt, there was pain, there was hope, there was light, there was dark, there was anger, there was beauty, there was tears, there was solitude, there was togetherness, there was friendship, there were heroes, there were villains, there were lies, there were dreams, but most importantly…

There was truth!"
