Levon gets to his house, or rather his little mansion!

A mansion among mansions, all which looked exactly the same. Clearly a bourgeois type of neighborhood. Calm and secured.

The door was oddly made of titanium, and It opened automatically the moment he stood in front! After some green laser lights scanned him from head to toes.

He enters inside, the lights immediately switched on their own! Then, a robotic voice says.

"Welcome master!"

The sound came from below, Levon looks down…He leans and pats a beautiful medium size fluffy dog!

"Ezer!

What were you doing while I wasn't here?"

"Waiting for you to come back."

The robotic voice again replies, and it seems like it's coming from the dog!!

But, his mouth isn't really moving beside making a large handsome smile.

Levon. "Good boy! Feeling hungry?"

"Yes! I made us food for both of us"

Levon. "Is that so?

You used the chef machine again?"

He goes with the dog towards the kitchen, and then checks a weird looking machine.

He opens it, and just as the robotic voice said, there is food for both. Fresh hot food!

"Looks like you've learned this time." Levon finally removes his cold expression and replaces it with a rare smile, which makes his dog extremely happy and excited! He jumps at him and licks him all over the face.

And there it appears, the source of the sound was a collar around Ezer's neck, hidden by his fluffy fur!

What could this device be!!?

As the two were having their meals, Levon looks at the TV screen.

And in less than a second, it's on!

*News station*

The reporter, looking so casual and unprofessional.

"Hey there, citizens of Kush!

We have some spicy news tonight, as every other night."

"Yes indeed, The famous young actress Heya lana has confirmed to our reporters that she is ready to take a new step in her career, claiming that she always waited for the moment when she'll be accepted by the lords of Cinema to perform in the adult industry."

"Hmmmm…A moment we were all waiting for isn't that right joseph?"

"Oh absolutely Sophie, matter of fact I might quit this boring job and perform a scene with her."

Sophie. "Hhhahahahahahaha!! I hope I'll be there too".

*She gives him a wink*

Joseph. "Oh! That will make me quit the job even earlier then!"

Sophie. "Oh, stop it you!

Alright moving to somet…."

The Tv was suddenly turned off! As levon looked sideways holding the food in his hand, but not moving it…

He decides not finish his meal! he gets up and puts it back in the kitchen… On the opposite, Ezer was so busy eating that he did not notice his surroundings.

Levon's face hid his thoughts so deeply.

'…Everyone is having it, everyone Is talking about it. I don't know how long I will keep resisting, but I must…I can't have a moment where my mind can think of my body.

Especially that!

I need something to sway me…

Yeah, I remember! The book Mr. Howard gave me…'

Levon walks towards the middle section of his house, oddly enough there was a second floor above, yet no stairs leading to it!

This time, Levon pushes a button!

But it did not make what resulted after that any less magical.

Bright lightning stairs appeared out of nowhere!

They looked like they have no solid form, yet Levon puts his feet into one of them and it automatically lifted him up there!

'…Good, it seems that I've successfully made it work.

By condensing and controlling the mass of atoms that exist in the air, negating the effects of gravity is possible.

But, it's too expensive. I don't think It's worth publishing at the moment.'

Levon gets to his room, takes a book from a big library wall at the right side of his bed, it was different looking from the rest, it was made of actual paper!

He lets his body rest comfortably. And finally, the bed isn't some science fiction invention.

Just a very large and comfortable bed. In a room where everything is colored white.

As Levon continues from where he left off last time, he realizes that he does not enjoy reading this book at all!

'…The excessive description of every detail is exhausting for a reader; beside that I don't know half of thee words used in the book. I searched about some definition but couldn't find any. The beginning is rather uninteresting as well…I wonder why Mr. Howard keeps suggesting me books similar to this.

He says they're from the pre-revolution era…'

Levon looks at the cover of the book.

"Crime and Punishment"

'The title is a bit interesting I have to admit. Though, crimes are very rare, punishment is even more…'

Even if Levon is discouraged, he finds It within himself to continue the book without knowing exactly why, until he fell asleep later on...

*THE NEXT DAY AT 6AM*

Levon is already awake, trying to move his finger a little bit. His face shows a bit of discomfort but he's able to move it quite nicely!

How is that possible? No broken bone can be healed this fast!

Ezer is also awake, being a dog, he feels Levon on another level even without speaking, so he asks him.

And the robotic voice comes out once again.

"What is it master?

Does your hand hurt you?"

Levon. "Not really, just a little bruise…I'll have to go to the lab now, you've learnt how to make food, so I won't worry about that. Tomorrow is a Sunday, so we'll go out together."

Ezer this time does not speak human language; he happily barks back at Levon. It's a ritual he does to cheer his friend every morning. And it does work most of the time!

Levon leaves, 5 seconds later a black car is awaiting him outside.

*Gets in*

"How are you Mr. Graham!" Asked the driver, a sharp classy charismatic looking man.

Levon. "Good."

"We arrived". Said the driver.

That was not a joke, they indeed reached their destination.

The door automatically lifts up, and a huge skyscraper is there right in front!

How come, the ride was over just like that!!??

On its large surface, it says.

"SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTION: BABEL"

"IN MEMORY OF THE 7HEROES"
