The ride back home for Kayla had been extremely quiet. It had been boring for the noble. Kayla had preferred going on adventures and doing things that are fun. "*Today l got to meet some pretty interesting people. I would say leaving home was worth it*". Kayla had remembered that she had promised to visit Azrael next time with her little brother Magus.

"*I should bring my little brother. He would like Azrael, speaking about my little brother, how has he been doing these days?*"

*Carriage stops*

"*Well, speak of the devil there he is, my half brother rushing to the carriage*" Magnus had run to meet Kayla, his pitch-black hair dancing in the air with his light caramel skin glowing along the sunlight and his light purple eyes that glowed with excitement to see his sister even though she had only been gone a couple of days.

Behind the running boy was her father and mother. Even though Kayla's parents and little brother were happy to see her again they had a lot of questions to ask Kayla. Like, why did she leave for such a long time? What happened when she never came home after going outside for a long time? How was she? Is she ok? Well, you get the gist of their worries.

"*I had just gotten home and they are already talk so much*" It took a while to calm the worried family down but when they did, Kayla started explaining everything that happened during her journey.....

"I left home on an adventure because I knew there was more to the world than what i read in books and l wanted to find out why? After I set off on the journey

With the guards everything was fine for the first few days but I started to be a bit more curious. I wanted to venture into the den of the ice dragon Azteir."

After hearing this shocking news came a big gasp for Kayla's worried family, but Kayla managed to reassure them that she was not badly injured or anything. Then Kayla went on about how she was saved by Raven's family and how they had helped them back to health.

*Umm* Kairia, Kayla's mother; had cleared her throat. "Do you know how unladylike you are? Your actions were and have proven to be something to be ashamed of! Leaving home without informing anyone and you even ventured off without permission? Kayla that's not what we taught you and not how a princess should behave, might I remind you. You are my successor and the next head of the family so behave yourself and stay put. Now go to your room and reflect on your actions as for your saviour the Raven's family was it, they shall be handsomely rewarded for saving the Princess."

Meanwhile back at Snowdew, Jack Azrael's father decided to start teaching him sword lessons for self-protection. "So the first thing you need to know is that you need to build up a good base is to make sure you exercise everyday no matter what. Then you would have to start with footwork, then swordplay and sword techniques. To cultivate your sword energy you need to awaken to receive the energy of your surroundings and use it for your own.

To be able to become one with your sword you need to know your sword do your goals align? What is the purpose of your sword? Once you know your sword and have spoken with it, ask its name. The name of your sword is one that is the essence of your sword style and can transfer from sword to sword. The essence of your sword play is your sword."

"You must think of your sword as a part of you, your sword should be thought of as

something apart from you, not as a tool to be used by you." Jack had explained showing actions. Drawing in the sand with his sword to show Azrael what he meant.

"You must think of everything as a sword because with a lot of practice, cultivating and understanding of your sword essence you will be able to use anything you hold as a sword regardless of what it is whether it is a stick, a spoon and so on."

Azrael was surprised by this information. "Oh, so that's what you guys were doing every time you practised outside" responded Azrael "Every time you guys were so very quiet and then start meditating there were sudden forces that l feel when i came near you guys and l never really understood what was happening" Azrael continued amused "If l train a lot without stopping, l will be able to do that!" Azrael said eagerly.

"Yes son, that's the spirit! You will be able to do that if you practice and train a lot but you need to take breaks, you have to take care of yourself". replied Azrael's father.

Jack and Azrael had walked back into the house after working out for quite some time. "Well, honey" said Jack "l need to leave l have to go to the Adventures guild to update my guild membership and claim some missions." So Jack said bye to his wife, kids Azrael and Lucy.

Few weeks later…

"Mom, what's that smell, it smells so nice *hmmmm*" Azrael had shouted from a room far from the kitchen. He had been in his sister's room awaiting for lunch. He had been excited because his mother had not cooked her special meals since Lucy had been born. For Azrael, there has been nothing more satisfying than his mothers cooking. Home meals with his family always made him happy he was never ungrateful for his food.

"Yes my Little Azzy, it's your favourite, we might not get to eat with your dad but we can eat, me you and your sister" Alana smiled as she spoke those words. She was happy to be doing things back to normal. As she was busy cooking on the stove which was powered by a magic inferno kristl which powered the stove.

The way Alana had worked in the kitchen as if she was dancing making every step she took look like it's part of a perfectly practised dance routine that could be done with her eyes closed. The way she flipped the food in the pan, the constant sizzling and the aroma that filled the house could make your mouth water for hours in anticipation for the masterpiece cooked.

While Alana is cooking there's a sudden knock on the door, she slows down her movements, "Azrael go check who's at the door" she spoke softly.

Azrael had walked over wondering who it was? Who would knock on their front door so early in the morning. "*Maybe some officials had come to ask questions about some of the breaking's that have been happening in the village?*" he had reached out his hand to unlock the door and twisted the handle. The door clicked then had swung slowly open and infront of Azrael stood a man.
