200 I Don't Know What To Do

~•Amara•~

"What old librarian?"

I didn't know why, but there was definitely something wrong regarding his reaction. He was never one to lose his temper like this.

"The old librarian…" I shrugged it off. "What other lady would I be talking about, Popsy?" It was such an obvious answer.

"What did she say?" He tried to pry further, but it was of no use. Because there was nothing to tell him.

"What she said, doesn't matter. It was mainly about how those books in the locked section could help me in finding answers to my questions." I took a small pause, allowing him to process my words.

"I was hoping that you could shed some light on this matter because you tend to know it all." My eyes were set on his face which was still marred by a small frown. He did have an answer to almost everything. "Moreover, she looked like she knew who I was." I added cautiously, not wanting to add more to his ire.
