1 Prologue

Oros system, 2376467 freska away from galactic center. A massive space ship suddenly appeared as if out of nowhere. It actually warped here from the galactic headquarters. The markings on the ship indicate that it's a ship of the inquisition. The amount of weapons and the escorting fighters indicate it's a warship. It's registered in the galactic navy as Unum, the flagship of galactic inquisition. The head of galactic inquisition is currently floating in the observation deck of the ship. This ship is a source of great pride for everyone in the inquisition. In any part of the Galaxy the sight of Unum inspires fear and awe. But he knows its not due to its gigantic size or impressive arsenal, it's because what it represents. It represents the might of galactic council. If it's seen in a system it means there's going to be at least 30 star destroyers not far behind. But the head inquisitor is not feeling particularly proud right now. He hummed softly in tune with the vibration of ships engine. The onboard AI spoke in his head, "Are you sad, lord Kremmer?" He felt annoyed. They installed the latest AI just before this mission, it's supposed to read the brain wave and understand the thought process of the crew. The concept of an AI always reading your thoughts is terrifying. Kremmer tried to discard the feeling. He loves progress, this AI is the definition of progress, its a level 18 intelligent being. That means it's twice as intelligent than him. " It's actually more than that. The standard for measuring intelligence is not same for organic and inorganic beings." " Please stop reading my thoughts and how long it's gonna take to reach Metis?" Thought the inquisitor. "Just one more warp. you should take preparation". Kremmer started towards the SHARD that'll teleport him to the command center. As soon as he entered the command center the ship began to warp once more. Unum doesn't need anyone to push button to move. He just needed to think of the destination and the AI would do the rest. He again felt the sadness that he was feeling in the observation deck. He should not be sad today. Today's the last day of War. The war that raged the galaxy for 25 Kronos is finally over. Titon, the homeworld of the Shefan is destroyed. Their desperate struggle was no match for the might of the entire fleet of galactic navy. Soon their entire species will be announced outlaws and will be hunted down like the beast they were. Their greed was the reason for countless death and destruction. When they realized the impending doom they tried make truce but it was too late. The galactic council couldn't take any more risk, as the Shefan has history of betraying treaty. Kremmer looked at the image of Titon in his mind. It was a beautiful planet. He could not remember the name they called it. "Earth" said the annoying AI." "And we are Human not Shefan." Kremmer looked at the young Shefan coming out of SHARD. She was a fragile creature with four solid limbs and a soft body. She was stuffing her face full with protein bar. "Don't you have any real food? I'm starving". "I told you it was a bad idea to pick up an unknown escape pod, should i neutralize her?" Asked the AI. "There's enough nutrition in the bar to keep you full for the journey" Kremmer tried to vibrate his internal energy in a way so he could imitate shefan...no human speech. The girl laughed at the crackling electric sound accompanying his speech. "So, where are we going?"." To meet something you would call a God.", The AI said in a smug voice. The girl frowned while pulling at one of Kremmer's locomotives appendages, "There's no God." " Yes, there is and you will meet it soon. Pray that it doesn't take an interest in you." "Humph" she pouted. Kremmer tried to calm her by decreasing her neural signal. It looked like he was patting her head. "That's enough" she was feeling embarrassed "I'm going to the pantry". Kremmer thought of the entity they are going to meet. He felt anxious. If all goes according to plan he can give the humanity another chance if not the entire reality might be destroyed."Is it worth the risk?"asked the AI. He extended his sense toward the girl who was rummaging through the protein containers."Yes" he thought.
