"Do you think nothing happened last night?"

"Lady Hariah!"

"Your highness! Prince Raziel!"

"Lady!"

Hariah bolted up from an uncomfortable sleep after hearing those yells calling their name. She was about to wake up Raziel but when she turned to him, she found him staring at her intently. And again, there was an annoying grin in his lips.

"Why didn't you wake me up? they're calling us now," she snapped hurrying out of the bed to see whether the men shouting were really Cavi's royal guards.

Raziel chuckled as he watched her. "In this continent, you're probably the only woman who wouldn't feel embarrass after sleeping with a man she just met."

Hariah rolled her eyes at him. she just didn't care. "I just saved you."

He flicked his tongue as sat up. "Do you think your Cavi Gege will get mad once he found out that you sleep in the same bed as me?"

Hariah already decided to ignore him, not that she cared about sleeping with him throughout the night. She had no ill intention and did nothing bad. Yet, what he said made her halt. She turned to him.

Suddenly, Raziel's expression turned dark. "You're afraid?" it was a statement rather than a question.

Hariah looked away from his chilling stare. "Why would I be afraid? Like I said, I only stopped you from being cold. That's it. nothing else happened."

Before she could escape, he spoke again. and this time, his words literally brought fear inside her.

"Do you really think nothing happened last night?" Her eyes were filled with horror as she looked at him. With an evil smirk in his lips, he stood up and limped towards the door, walking passed her.

The door was heard open and soon, sounds of footsteps were heard approaching.

"Where is she?" she heard Cavi's voice speaking. No answer was heard but moments after, she listened to his rushing footsteps towards her.

"Hariah!" his worried voice called her name. it was the first time she heard him call her by name.

Turning around, she was now face to face with the man she believed would protect her no matter what. That's what he said in her unsure memories, right?

Noticing that she's wearing a Fyr Royal Robe, Cavi clenched his jaw as he hastily took it off from her. He changed it with his own white outer robe and carried her without her permission.

"Did he do something to you?" Hariah was surprised to hear his angry tone.

Blinking her eyes twice, she shook her head and replied in a small voice. "He…He was sick. I took care of him. he can't do anything to me."

"Do you really think nothing happened last night?" she squirmed remembering what Prince Raziel told her just while ago. she didn't even notice that she's wearing his robe. did he really do something to her in her sleep? the thought terrified her. but… he wouldn't, right? he's grinning when he said that. That must be a joke. But… even his mysterious grin was scaring her. like as if, something was hidden behind those evil smiles…

Carefully looking at her expression, Cavi's face darken even more. "Don't afraid. Though Raziel is known for being a womanizer, he will never force a woman against their will. Besides…" besides, he already warned him.

"Besides what?" Hariah asked, staring at him for an answer.

"Besides, I'm here. I won't let her do anything to you."

Walking out of the old house now, Hariah saw Cavi's royal guards outside.

She even heard Adil's voice, yelling like a child. "Hariah Jiejie! We finally found you."

Smiling at him, Adil blushed with it and was suddenly awkward.

They were about to walked pass Prince Raziel. Yet, Cavi stopped at his side.

"Raziel," his cold voice sent chills to the guards who were listening. But not the prince who was smirking right now.

Even his tone when he spoke seemed sarcastic and playful. "Your majesty."

"I never knew you were so weak that one single broken ankle will trap you in this abandoned house. You even made someone suffer because of you."

"Your majesty, you must be joking. I'm still a mortal. Of course, I will feel pain after falling in such dangerous slope."

With his answer, Cavi glanced at him with squinting eyes. the spectators thought there will be a fight that will happen with the two royals. However, seconds later, Cavi walked away while carrying the lady in his arms that was wrapped in his white robe.

Within the minutes yet felt like years for Hariah when the two were talking, she kept looking down just to avoid those intense eyes staring at her. when Cavi continued walking, taking her away, she was too happy in relief she wanted to hug him.

No matter how much she thinks about it, she really couldn't understand why? Did Prince Raziel really plotted his fall which accidentally took her with him? but why would he do that? Just to take advantage of her? but… feeling her own body, she doesn't feel anything strange. Then, why?

Looking back, her eyes widened when it was captured by those intense crimson eyes that seemed like a burning fire.

Hiding on Cavi, she tried catching her breath. It seemed like she needed to avoid that man as much as possible.

She didn't know why but she was scared of him. even… hate him a bit. at the same time, she felt sad and pity for him. though of where these feelings were coming from, she didn't know. And that's what's making her guilty towards him…
