2 The Mortal Realm Is Seriously Refreshing (2)

On a grassy green plain, a black spatial gate suddenly appeared as the grass started to swish because of the massive winds coming from the gate. Beyond the gate, nothing but darkness and lightning could be seen, suggesting that the spatial gate was in turbulence.

"CRkkC!!!"

The blue and green lightning crackled and hit the ground, obliterating every grass and sundering the earth a black as earth color wherever it hit.

As it was a grassy plain, there were no trees nor were there any buildings in the surrounding area, suggesting that it was a place filled with beasts or something.

Suddenly, from the black hole floating above the ground, a man jumped and fell on the grass, his thick as a forest white hair flipping over and falling over his face.

He was Su Yuhan of course. His eyes flashed a curious and interest filled gaze as he slowly stood up and clapped his hands; getting rid of the mud or dust on his hands.

Su Yuhan was wearing the same white robe as he was wearing a while ago; oh well, he always wore it because it was so light and airy, must be because of the Wind Element Dragon tendons which were cut into threads and then used to sew the robe.

Su Yuhan flipped his hair back and tied it up with a small band he held in his dantian, it wasn't those girly ones but the ones that men wore.

When Su Yuhan opened the spatial gate, he only put the Mortal Realm as a destination, they rest however, he left it up to the spatial gate itself so he didn't know which place he was in right now.

Hmm.

Su Yuhan grinned and looked at the surrounding sceneries; his nose perked up as he strongly breathed in the air.

The fragrance of the grass and the earthly and rustic smell of the mud and ground hit his nose as he sighed.

This was great. Su Yuhan always wanted to go to the Mortal Realm and enjoy life there as he did when his jiejie was alive.

Remembering the matter with his jiejie, Su Yuhan shook his head and regretfully smiled. He forced the thought out of his mind as he tried to remember the last time he visited the Mortal Realm.

Su Yuhan opened his eyes and grinned, he walked towards the left and came upon a scenery that pleased his eyes.

The grassy plains weren't simple plains but a small piece of land on top of a cliff.

As Su Yuhan was a very powerful cultivator, his eyes were as sharp as a dragon, meaning that he could see things from as far as a kilometer away.

Su Yuhan's purple eyes shined as he saw a small village appear in his vision; it wasn't very far away. The village from afar looked very peaceful as people cut down trees and gossiped on the streets while the women took care of their children and peacefully roamed around here and there.

One thing Su Yuhan had to applaud was the scenery around the village; in short, it was fantastic. Bright green trees surrounded the village as little monkeys and animals regularly sat on trees and watched the villagers do their jobs.

One thing after another reminded Su Yuhan of his life; his early life that is.

Unlike the people in the upper realms, Su Yuhan as of now, was just 113 years old. It might seem old to a person from the Mortal Realm, but to him and the various disciples and soldiers of the Ethereal Palace, it was nothing but a single flash.

Su Yuhan was scared of one thing, and that was death and growing older. Even the so called God and Immortal level cultivators had a fixed and limited lifetime, after that time passed, their death was unstoppable.

Su Yuhan, however, wasn't scared of death much as he was scared about growing old. As he looked around and saw people older than even continents, he saw their tired and disinterested faces, they saw everything and tasted everything and became bored at life; to them, each passing face had lesser and lesser value attached to it.

Su Yuhan didn't want to be like that, a person isolated and indifferent to affection and emotions. He might be evil but he was, hypocritically, a good person when it came to certain matters.

Nonetheless, Su Yuhan shook his head and smiled. He now had to fulfill the reason he came here for.

Solve his loneliness and…lack of companionship.

The problem was, Su Yuhan didn't know how to do it.

Su Yuhan scratched his head and looked at the village. He shrugged, then, a moment later, he dissappeared from the spot he was standing on.

Of course, he wanted to roam around the village and see the sceneries!

If there were any, he would also pick up some beauties.

Kakakakaka!

He grew soft in the time he spent in the Palace alone didn't he?

Su Yuhan grinned and looked at the small black wooden walls before him, on top of them, men in blue clothes, perhaps soldiers, vigilantly looked forward and constantly checked the people entering.

As Su Yuhan was a very unusual looking human, towards him, the soldiers on top of the gate paid extra attention.

After all, untill now, they had never seen a purple eyed man before.

Perhaps it was also due to the fact that he was too handsome?

Wakakakaka

Su Yuhan coughed lightly.

Just in the middle of the walls were a small but wide gate enough to let ten people enter at once. Just beside the gate, guards after guards in blue clothes constantly patrolled the gate and questioned suspicious people.

As far as he knew, this place looked as if it had very good security.

From when he first entered this area, Su Yuhan could tell that this area was devoid of any demonic beasts, meaning that such serious security wasn't really necessary, but perhaps the village recently suffered from a war or a violent takeover from an external clan?

It could be possible.

Su Yuhan spread his divine sense—using a complex method designed to hide it from enemies of course—to scan the entire town.

Hmm. Just a few Spirit Profound stage cultivators?

Su Yuhan rolled his eyes, Spirit Profound Stage cultivators were the lowest of the lowest, as far as he knew, the lowest stages were,

Mortal Ascension Stage

Spirit Ascension Stage

Spirit Profound Stage

Spirit Sea Stage

And the ones above that, he couldn't remember.

Su Yuhan walked towards the village gate with a grin on his face.

The guards however, crossed their spears with each other and forbade his entry.

"Halt. The young city lord is enjoying a stroll in the city, every foreigner is forbidden from entering!"

"What? A stroll? Come on, I'll do nothing! Look at me, I'm harmless. "

Su Yuhan said as he pointed at himself with an innocent expression on his face.

"Begone stranger before we use force! "

The guards readied their weapons and looked at Su Yuhan with an expression of caution.

From seeing this, Su Yuhan became curious. There was certainly something wrong for the guards to be so unwelcoming hmm…

"Sigh, I didn't want to do this…"

"Foreig-! "

Su Yuhan silently clapped his hands as a dark and malicious wave of Qi spread in the air.

Did he say that he was also a demon?

After the Qi passed by the guards heads, their eyes went wide as their mouth became filled with foam.

It was nothing serious. He just shocked their souls a little bit, they might go into a coma but they won't die.

"Teeheehee!"

Su Yuhan giggled like a small girl and entered the village with a flash.
