Chapter 53 Funny girl...

Half a month later...

"I feel numb.....what happened?" Asked issei as he opened his eyes.

He sat up slowly because his body was sore and looked around the room he was in.

He recognised the room..

This was the same room he and his mates were staying in on Cal Mira Island.

"Wait....what happened? I don't remember anything after I got beaten to a bloody pulp" Said issei.

"I guess we defeated the wave if I'm still alive..." Said issei and out of the blue his left eye started to hurt, but not only his eye but his whole head was throbbing.

The pain was so extreme that it almost made Issei scream but he endured it as he held his head with both of his hands and just let out a groan.

"The hell was that?! Shouted Issei as he pressed his hand against his left eye trying to numb the pain.

"Anyways, where is everyone?" Asked Issei himself.

"Ddraig?" issei tried to see if Ddraig was in the gear or not but he got nothing in response.

" 'Sigh' ....well I guess I'll get up" Said issei as he removed the cover and got his new combat clothing from his inventory.

"System" Issei called out to his system.

"Can you tell me what happened after I was beaten?" Asked issei.

*Right away master, would you rather see the recording of the last moments of the wave?*

"Yes please" Replied issei.

A screen popped up and showed him a video where Issei sacrificed his left eye and released Ddraig, how Ddraig destroyed Nemesis, and most importantly Kiyomi was okay.

"I'm glad she's fine....but where is everyone?" Asked Issei.

*Can't detect any party members due to them being too far away from master*

"Where did they disappear?" Asked Issei as he got up and walked towards the door.

He was sore and his body ached but he ignored that and started to walk.

As he opened the door he was met with a female that looked like a knight with butt-length strawberry-blonde hair that had a chest-length hair strand hanging on the right side, blue eyes and she had a face that could rival Raphtalia's in beauty.

"Ah! Red Dragon Emperor! you're awake! how are you feeling? I heard you shouting so I got here as fast as I could to see what happened" Issei got immediately bombarded with questions by the unknown woman.

"Ah, I'm... I ugh...okay, I guess? just hungry and sore" Said Issei with a closed eye.

"Okay, wait here I'll get something to eat" Said the woman as she ran off to get Issei something to eat before Issei could say anything.

After ten minutes of waiting the doors of the room opened revealing the same woman with a giant food tray.

She had a kind smile on her face.

"Sorry for making you wait, here's your food" She said as she sat next to Issei on the edge of the bed.

"So Ummm....what's going on?" Asked Issei as he started to eat his food.

"Um...well my name is Eclair Seaetto and I was sent here by the queen to guard you and help you recover and join your party" Said Eclair.

"The queen ordered? but why? and where is everyone?" Asked Issei.

"Your other party members were really worried about you and wanted to wait for you until you woke up but they decided to leave and get stronger as they felt bad for not doing enough in the wave to help you that goes for Spear hero too" Said Eclair.

"So....they blame themselves?... but I am weak too.....these damn seals.....if not for them I would have destroyed every opponent here the moment I got here" Said Issei as he clenched his fist.

Eclair saw his frustrations so she put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

That helped a little.

"So....do you know where my brother is?" Asked Issei as he looked at her.

"Your brother? um, who is your brother?" Asked Eclair with a tilt of her head.

"His name is Ddraig and he is a red dragon that helped.....no, defeated the wave" Said Issei.

"Ah! he is flying somewhere around" Said Eclair.

'Makes sense, he is finally free for real after all' Thought issei.

"So he didn't leave?" Asked Issei.

"No, he refused to leave your side and encouraged your party to go and get stronger while they can" Said Eclair.

"So....what now?" Asked Issei.

"First you have to recover and take some rest, your brother will come later today to talk with you" Said Eclair.

"Alright.....I understand" Replied Issei.

"By the way, why is your left eye closed?" Asked Eclair.

"Oh, that? it just hurts a bit" Said issei.

"Alright open your eye it might have something that's not supposed to be there" Said Eclair.

Seeing her serious expression Issei complied and opened his left eye.

It started to hurt a bit but not like earlier.

He heard a small gasp from Eclair which worried Issei.

"Is there something that is not supposed to be there? Asked issei.

"Definitely! there's a golden clock in your eye!" Shouted Eclair.

Issei closed his left eye again and looked at Eclair.

"I'm fine you don't need to worry, I'll look into this more myself, you are free to go" Said issei.

"Okay then... now finish eating and don't do anything stupid" Said Eclair as she left the room.

"Anything stupid?" Asked Issei himself.

After ten minutes Issei finished his breakfast and as soon as he did someone walked into the room.

"How are you feeling brother?" Asked Ddraig.

"Okay, I guess..... I just need to level up as much as I can or somehow break the damn seals" Said Issei as he turned to look at Ddraig.

"Holy crap! you're level 689!?" Shouted issei.

"Ah yeah, my powers weren't sealed sooo.." Said Ddraig.

"Ah, that's right..." Said Issei.

"Anyways...once you fully recover we will go level up, by the way I got this for you from the wave" Said Ddraig as he took out some kind of black ball from his pocket dimension before tossing it to Issei.

Issei caught the ball and the system analysed it.

*Information! Master has acquired the magic core of Demon dragon Nemesis of Death and Void!*

"Wha-? you got it when you killed Nemesis?" Asked Issei as he looked at Ddraig with a stunned expression.

"Yep! I remember during the fight your system explained how useful this can be for you, I can't hear nor see your system anymore tho" Said Ddraig.

"Damn, thanks Ddraig" Thanked Issei.

"No problem, now you should rest for today and tomorrow we will think of our next move" Said Ddraig as he opened the door and was about to leave but issei stopped him.

"Brother, you should really shave that beard already if you want to find a mate" Said issei as he snickered.

Ddraig shut the doors and issei heard him grumbling unhappily.

That made Issei laugh.

"Alright, now let's see what will we get from this core" Said issei as he let the shield absorb it.

*New skill! A new skill was gained called Territory creation! Once master learns to use this skill, master won't need the shield or system to use it, master will be able to use it like magic and create his own domain*

"This is great! that's what I wanted when Nemesis trapped me in his domain I hoped to get this skill now thanks to Ddraig I have it!" Said issei with the utmost excitement.

*Without me you wouldn't even know about it hmph*

"..... Alright I won't question this, I'm too tired" Said Issei as he laid down in his bed before falling asleep.

Next morning Issei woke up and left to level up even tho he was instructed not to push himself.

He left alone straight to the Shield hero's secret dungeon.

He has chosen extreme difficulties every time but nothing similar happened like with Attor and the experience boost was already gone.

Those were some simple monsters for him and he easily defeated them, of course he was hit at least a couple of times so he had some light bruises that revealed slight blood stains.

He decided that it was enough of grinding for now and left the dungeon.

As he left the cave he was met with Eclair's angry facial expression.

"Oh, morning Eclair" Greeted her Issei as he wiped off some of his sweat from his forehead.

"Yeah morning...mind telling me why are you not in bed recovering?" Asked Eclair as she got closer to him.

"What? I'm fine, I don't have the time for that anyways I have to get stronger or figure out how to remove the damn seals" Said Issei.

"Well, I don't care! I told you not to do anything stupid yesterday and the next day you go and fight monsters first thing in the morning! just look at you! all bloody, bruised up and sweaty!" Shouted.

Eclair as she poked his chest aggressively.

'Bossy much?' Asked issei himself as he rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Look, I'm totally fine and I can fight now I need to get stronger otherwise we will all die" Said Issei harsher as he glared.

"But Ddraig is the most powerful being alive in this world so I believe we can easily win" Said Eclair.

"No, I have a really bad feeling that if I don't get enough power this world including me and my party is doomed, yes even Ddraig" Said issei as he remembered Kiyomi unconscious in front of Nemesis who was about to kill her, and started to walk off.

"Hey! I told you not to do anything stupid!" Shouted Eclair as she grabbed his hand.

Issei turned to look at her with a hard and cold glare but Eclair was unfazed by it much to his surprise.

"You should get all of your strength back, then we will discuss what to do later with Ddraig, I was appointed to look after you by the queen even Ddraig agreed that someone needs to look after you when your mates are out on a journey" Said Eclair as she glared at Issei the same way if not worse and sent shivers down his spine.

It reminded him of when Valerica told him no more girls...will...be added .....to his harem..fuuuuuck.

Eclair noticed Issei became pale like a ghost.

"H-hey!? are you okay?" Asked Eclair with a worried expression.

"I'm.....dead" Whispered Issei.

"You what?" Asked confused Eclair.

"I'm totally dead anyways when I'll return to my world! how did I even forget about that!" Shouted Issei as he started to walk around with utter fear.

"What....are you....." Eclair was completely confused.

She saw Issei wasn't walking straight anymore and just passed out as he fell to the ground.

"I-ssei!" Shouted Eclair as she ran up to him.

She checked if he was still breathing and noticed he was hot.

Not that type of hot but he had a fever.

"He's so hot" Said Eclair with worry.

"Idiot" Murmured Eclair as she laid his head on something soft and..... comfortable.

Five minutes later...

Issei flipped on his stomach and hugged something soft round and warm.

'Feels good' Thought Issei as he gave a good squeeze.

Suddenly he heard a moan.

He opened his eyes and in front of him was a green robe that was almost glued to a feminine figure he looked a little higher and saw ... breasts....yes breast and a little above them he saw Eclair's face with a huge blush.

Issei looked down and saw that his head was on her lap and his hands on her soft butt.

Somehow with newfound energy in a blink of an eye, he was two meters from Eclair on all fours.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do anything like that! don't think bad of me! I'm not a pervert!" Shouted issei as he looked straight at the ground.

He heard Eclair stand up and walk up to him.

He was prepared to receive a punch or a kick or something, those were his old instincts kicking in as he remembered when he got beaten by the kendo club but instead of that.....he heard her giggle before straight up laughing.

Issei slowly looked up and saw her smiling face.

"It's okay Issei, I was the one who let you lay there so you needn't worry, plus you really need to return to bed because you are really hot" Said Eclair.

Eclair then saw Issei receive a slight blush on his cheeks as he stared at her dumbfounded.

Eclair realized what she said and a strong blush formed on her face.

She covered her cheeks.

"N-not in that w-w-way! I meant you have a fever!" Squeeld Eclair.

Now it was issei's turn to laugh.

She covered her whole face from utter embarrassment.

"I don't have a fever, I can't get one because I'm a dragon so of course, my body temperature naturally is higher than a normal person's" Laughed issei.

Now Eclair was even more embarrassed as she remembered that he called himself the Red DRAGON Emperor and literally knew of his gigantic metal dragon form.

Issei stood up and removed her hands from her face.

"C'mon, no need to be this embarrassed, it's fine" Said issei as he looked at her sea blue eyes.

After a moment Eclair recomposed herself and with a fake cough she started to talk again.

"What happened...I mean, why did you pass out all of a sudden? you looked so pale too I thought you were dying" Aksed Eclair.

"Well.....I have more mates from my world and a rule was established that I won't add any more girls to my harem but...I sorta broke it without realising it as I completely forgot about it and I have two more mates from this world.....hope no more tho because I don't know how I will deal with this already" Said issei.

Eclair had a slight blush.

She was always fascinated with relationships, especially harems, it was like her hobby?

"I see.....can you tell me more about ...harems?" Asked Eclair as she turned her head away from embarrassment and shame.

"I ugh.....sure, why not" Said issei as he started to explain everything about his experiences in a harem and his very first wish of becoming a harem king.

"That's so interesting..." Said Eclair.

They have been talking for at least three hours.

Yes, that long, because when Issei was the biggest pervert his dream was to become a harem king so he knew a lot about harems as he did his 'research'

In the middle of their talk issei's stomach made a low growl.

"Sorry.....I didn't eat anything today so I'm a little hungry" Said Issei as she stood up.

"Oh, I'm sorry I was keeping you here all this time" Said Eclair as she felt a little guilty.

"No it's fine I had fun talking with you" Said issei with a grin.

"R-really?" Asked Eclair.

"Of course! we should do this more often" Said Issei.

"I-if you s-say so" Replied Eclair with a stutter but she was excited.

"Now let's return to the main island we need to find Ddraig" Said Issei as his wings popped out of his back.

"Wow...." Murmured Eclair.

"Well, get on my back, I'll fly us both back" Said issei as he crouched.

"N-no I'm fine" Said Eclair.

"C'mon or ya wanna me to carry you?" Asked issei as he turned his head to look at her and saw a blush on her face for the one-hundredth time.

"I-il get on your back" Said Eclair as she hopped on issei's back.

Issei stood up.

"Now hold on tightly" Said issei.

Eclair tightened her grip around his neck and they took off to the sky.

After about two minutes, Issei and Eclair reached their destination at the inn.

They ordered some breakfast together as they haven't had any.

They got their food and Issei had the most but he ate at unimaginable speed.

"Woah! slow down!" Said Eclair.

Issei slowed down and looked at her.

"Oh I'm sorry, that was rude of me, it's just that dragons have big appetites and we tend to eat like that I guess when we are really hungry..... sorry" Said issei as he started to eat like a normal person.

Because Issei became a dragon his new dragon instincts tend to take over from time to time and he doesn't even notice that.

"No it's fine, I was just shocked to see someone just..... inhale their food like that" Said Eclair as she took a bite of her food.

For the rest three minutes, they ate in a comfortable silence until issei spoke up again.

"So.....where is Ddraig?" Asked Issei.

"I don't know, maybe just exploring? I haven't seen him this morning" Replied Eclair.

"I see.....when are we leaving this island? I mean, even in my secret dungeon the experience boost dropped back to normal" Said Issei.

"Well, we will discuss that with Ddraig after we eat and what's that about a secret dungeon?" Asked Eclair.

"I and my party found a cave where you found me this morning, there a dungeon resides the Shield hero's secret dungeon. I was the only one able to open the doors and when the experience boost was still active in these islands it gave me plenty of levels.....but I guess not enough for the wave" Said Issei as his mood dropped.

"That doesn't matter now, the past is in the past, now you can either sulk here and not help anyone or just face forward to the future and get as strong as you can and improve yourself" Said Eclair with a determined look.

"Yeah.... alright, thank you for the pep talk" Said issei with a smile.

"By the way, how is your eye? you don't seem to have it closed like yesterday" Said Eclair.

"Actually it doesn't hurt at all anymore so I'm more or less fine" Replied Issei.

"I see...still it's weird to see a working clock in someone's eye" Said Eclair.

"Not that I wanted something like that but I had to sacrifice my eye to give me enough time to release Ddraig from his former prison" Said Issei.

"Can you tell me more?" Asked Eclair.

She was fascinated by issei's stories.

"Sorry, but let's talk about this next time, now let's find Ddraig" Said Issei.

"Alright let's go" Said Eclair with a small pout that issei didn't notice and followed Issei out of the inn.

"You know where he is?" Asked Issei.

"Yes, we agreed to meet at the town's center" Replied Eclair.

"Alright, let's pick up the pace then" Said issei.
