51 She's Impaired But Beautiful

"Cheng Ying?" Hou Wei Yan softly called out when she noticed her patient's eyes fluttering. She looked around the room and saw the excited look that dominated Xie Na's face and Qiu Meixiu's gleeful smile.

Luckily, the operation turned out fine without a hitch. Fang's friend who he called Einstein was a great help to them. Her warning worked pretty well thanks to Einstein who worked really hard to monitor everyone's moves. The fear of getting caught in the act and losing their job made the one Jiang Yanyan arranged to just observe like a stone.

"Cheng Ying?" she called out again. After a short while, a groan was heard from Cheng Ying making the two spectators walk closer.

"Can you hear me?"

Cheng Ying felt the annoying rays of the sun burning her skin which made her open her eyes. She looked around the room in concern before spotting the smiling blondie beside her bed. "Sister Wei Wei"

"Oh, that's great!" Xie Na said while clapping her hand. This woman gave her quite a scare. She thought they will lose her because of Jiang Yanyan's plot. Thankfully Hou Wei Yan is invincible!

Hou Wei Yan shushed her ecstatic friend while shaking her head. [ This psycho is in her hyper mode again. What a pain! ]

"How are you feeling?" Qiu Meixiu asked when she noticed Cheng Ying frowning slightly.

"Terrible" she honestly replied before forcing a smile.

Xie Na laughed at her reply and waved her hands. "Well that's normal"

After staring at the abnormal beauty in front of her, Cheng Ying can't help but look at them with concern. Before surgery, she found out about Jiang Yanyan's plot from the talkative Xie Na.

They tried to keep it from her because Jiang Yanyan was her relative and her cruelty was something to be afraid of. It didn't bother her at all though and she was certainly not surprised. They weren't close and that monster only visits them when she needed something.

This time, she was willing to use her to destroy the good Hou Wei Yan whose only aim was to save people. Now she really sees the real monster inside the bitch.

"How was the surgery?"

Qiu Meixiu smiled at her before ruffling her hair. "As you can see, it turned out well"

Relief suddenly washed over her when she heard such news. If something happened to Hou Wei Yan because of Jiang Yanyan she was ready to become a ghost and hunt her down. Knowing that both of them were safe from Jiang Yanyan's demonic grasp, Cheng Ying can't help but cry.

Hou Wei Yan, Qiu Meixiu, Xie Na, and even the stoic Fang Tao were all nice to her. For a long time, she forgot what it felt to be engulfed by warmth from such good people. She can't do anything but cry because she met such great people ready to take risks and make enemies of others in order to save her. "Thank you"

Hou Wei Yan who was head locking Xie Na at that time, stopped when she saw the tears flowing down Cheng Ying's eyes. She released Xie Na and slowly wiped the tears away. She gave the child a sincere smile that she greatly needed.

Her mesmerizing smile made Cheng Ying smile as well. "When will I meet your cousin?"

"You need to recover first before I can bring you to her" she answered before glaring at Xie Na who kept on taking pictures of them. It would have been good if she was using her phone, but no. She's using Hou Wei Yan's phone!

"I will do my best to help her recover" Cheng Ying suddenly blurted out making Hou Wei Yan turn her attention back to her.

Imagining Xu Dandan and her successful rescue of the lost child Cheng Ying, Hou Wei Yan can't help but smile in happiness. "Thank you"

The five of them were inside Hou Wei Yan's beloved white Audi R8 Spyder. It was her favorite car and which she specially transported from the USA to China. She had bought it with her own money. The car is called White Tiger named after what her Grandfather Xing calls her.

Since it was a very important car, no one is allowed to drive it except her. So when the protective guard tried to argue, Hou Wei Yan ended up asking permission from her husband through Fang Tao's transmitter.

Of course, even though he didn't like the idea, Ji Li Zhao ended up permitting her. He knew how much Hou Wei Yan liked driving cars.

Xie Na who was mindlessly singing Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me earlier, suddenly looked puzzled when her best friend took a wrong turn. She observed for a while before looking at Hou Wei Yan like she was crazy. "Huh? Wei Wei, this is not the road to Dandan's house"

Cheng Ying, who was in the middle of Fang Tao and Xie Na at the back can't help but ask as well. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see" Qiu Meixiu merely smiled after she said this and turned the music up so Xie Na can enjoy her little concert.

Xie Na gave her a thumbs up when she did this. "Oh yeah! Sister Qiu is really the best!"

Hou Wei Yan can only roll her eyes at her silliness. Just a few minutes ago, she was the best in Xie Na's eyes.

After taking a few more turns, they entered a private road. Each side of the road was guarded by tall pine trees. It looked like paradise!

Amazement was immediately itched in Xie Na and Cheng Ying's eyes as they saw this. Their eyes can't help but wander around. There were a lot of beautiful statues associated with nature along the way. When they entered the gate, it automatically opened making them smile even more. "Woah Woah! Did it detect the car?"

Hou Wei Yan shook her head and laughed. "No. The housekeeper opened it for us"

"Ohhhh" Xie Na said quite disappointed. But such disappointment didn't last long as a beautiful house came into view. It was made from marvelous woods and there was a huge dragon statue guarding the fountain.

"Woah! Wei Wei, where are we?!" Xie Na said in excitement as soon as she got out of the car. She can't help but jump in ecstasy like a child. The house looked so relaxing that it looked too dreamlike.

Fang looked at Xie Na before smiling and staring back at the house. [ Does she like such a type of house? ]

Hou Wei Yan giggled when she saw what happened between the two. She coughed before pulling Cheng Ying in front of them. "Cheng Ying's new house"

Surprise immediately dominated Cheng Ying's face as she pointed to herself and the house repeatedly. "My house? Aren't I living with your cousin?"

"You will. But encase you have a misunderstanding, you need a home to stay in" Hou Wei Yan clarified before taking a step inside the house.

As all of them went inside, a series of gasps resonated from Xie Na and Cheng Ying. Even Fang Tao was taken by surprise at how simple yet luxurious the interior looked. It looked so warm and relaxing with the big fireplace.

"This is too big for me" Cheng Ying suddenly said before turning toward Hou Wei Yan. "Wait, is this yours?"

She nodded her head as she touched the wooden wall. "I brought a couple of properties before coming here to China"

Xie Na who was taking pictures earlier and uploading them to her stories on her social media accounts, upon hearing her statement, immediately ran towards Hou Wei Yan and clung to her. She pouted and rubbed her head in her arms like a puppy. "Wei Wei, what about me? Where's the house that you promised? You said we'll have our own dream house"

A soft chuckle came out of her mouth as she ruffled her silly best friend's hair. This rich sicko! Even though she already has a lot of properties under her, she keeps on asking her for a dream house. It didn't matter though. She did promise her something back when they were 6th Graders. "Still under construction. But don't worry, it won't be long"

"Oh yes!" Xie Na shouted in happiness. This time, she can have a house that her brothers can't simply enter!

Cheng Ying looked at Xie Na and Hou Wei Yan in amazement. They were talking like making a new house is nothing! "Just how rich are you? This is insane!"

Xie Na turned to her in confusion. "Don't you know yet?"

"Know what?"

A sigh escaped from Xie Na as she shook her head towards her. "Let me introduce"

She pulled her best friend towards her and with a big smile plastered on her face, introduced Hou Wei Yan again. "Hou Guanyu and Xing Mei Yi's eldest daughter"

After saying this, Xie Na circled around Hou Wei Yan as though she was an almighty and historical warrior. "Tada! Doctor Hou Wei Yan!"

Cheng Ying's eyes went wide as she heard Xie Na's boisterous announcement. She looked around for confirmation and was stupified when she received a smile from Qiu Meixiu and a very obvious nod from Fang Tao.

"Wha---Are you serious?"

Xie Na immediately pouted when she heard this from Cheng Ying. "Hey, I know I joke around but this is serious. She's really Princess Xing's daughter"

The shock in Cheng Ying's mind made her unable to utter anything for a good few seconds. Analyzing everything that Hou Wei Yan said and the confidence she had when she mocked her about money made Cheng Ying gasp. "Why did you become a doctor? You're awfully rich already!"

Hou Wei Yan smiled before looking out the door. "Becoming a doctor isn't just for money. I know it can add to my savings because Yi Lan pays handsomely, but I became one to save lives. I want to add a lot of people to my other savings"

Upon hearing such an answer, Cheng Ying can't help but place her hands on her forehead and give her a salute. "I salute you, Sister Wei Wei. Someday I will become like you"

"You want to become a doctor?" Xie Na asked out of nowhere making Cheng Ying blush.

"Can I?"

Qiu Meixiu walked towards her and ruffled her hair. "You're still young"

"But I'm...bad" Cheng Ying said which made them look at each other.

Despite such silence and self-loathing, Hou Wei Yan gave her a smile. "You're not. You're just naughty"

She pulled Cheng Ying towards her and pointed accusingly at the dumb little child called Xie Na. "Listen, even Xie Na managed to become a doctor with that weird attitude, I'm sure it will be a piece of cake for you"

"Hey! Stop speaking as if I'm not here" Xie Na yelled back after hearing Cheng Ying's sneaker while she nodded her head vigorously. "Besides, everyone likes my weird attitude"

Hou Wei Yan only laughed at her before handing the key to Cheng Ying. She waved her hands at Xie Na and slowly turned around with Cheng Ying still locked in her arms. "Yeah yeah, talk to Fang about that!"

"Let's go" Qiu Meixiu added before leaving the two dumb skulls in the living room.

After a good few seconds, Xie Na looked at Fang Tao who was coincidentally looking at her. A blush suddenly creeped out of nowhere and found its way to Xie Na's face. In the awkward silence, Xie Na managed to run away. "Hey!"

Fang who was left there suddenly found himself cursing. "Shit" he said before jogging towards the group.

"Have you seen Dandan?" Xie Na asked as they entered the road towards Xu Dandan's house.

Hou Wei Yan shook her head as she continued driving. "We already made up. Before proceeding with Cheng Ying's surgery, I called Dandan" she sighed afterward and gave Xie Na a sad look in the mirror. "Our relationship still needs patching up, but she already agreed to see me and accept Cheng Ying"

"Well, that was easy" Qiu Meixiu said beside her. She initially thought they needed to beg Xu Dandan before they could manage to make Cheng Ying help her.

"You think so?" Xie Na asked all of a sudden. She looked out the window and seriously spoke. "Dandan has the bloodline of the Xing. You should be aware of how tough they can get"

Her statement and the seriousness of her voice made Cheng Ying gulp her saliva. "Am I gonna get beaten up?"

Hou Wei Yan looked at the mirror and raised her brows. "Can they beat you up?"

Her question made Cheng Ying smile. That's right, even though she's practicing to be good, she doesn't let anyone beat her. Hou Wei Yan gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Dandan has an attitude to new people but she will warm up after you spend time with her"

"Who should I call when I did get beaten up?" Cheng Ying asked in concern. Well, as Xie Na said, she has the blood of the Xing. That's dangerous enough for her.

"Me" Hou Wei Yan immediately answered but her guard shook his head.

Fang looked at Cheng Ying seriously. "No. I'll assign someone else to guard you, Miss Cheng"

Hou Wei Yan can't help but sigh at his actions. "But call me, okay?"

After Cheng Ying nodded her head, their car came to a halt. They had finally arrived.

"Lady Wei Yan" an old man immediately greeted them when they stepped out of the car. He gave them a polite nod which they replied with the same level of politeness. "Welcome"

"Uncle Xiaotong" she said before engulfing the old man in her hug. The old man patted her back with a smile. It's been a really long time since they last saw each other.

"Where's Dandan?" she asked as they went inside the house. The others followed behind them while carefully observing the house. It was a typical rich family house. The interiors were themed after gold and pearl white. What made the house quite unique was the lilac flowers all over the place. All the flowers inside the house had lilacs on them.

"Sister Wei Wei!" a shout was suddenly heard out of nowhere. All of them turned towards the voice and saw a woman getting wheeled off the elevator.

Hou Wei Yan's eyes sparkled at the sight of her beloved cousin. "Dandan!"

Cheng Ying was taken by surprise by the woman's beauty. She looked so young, perhaps around her age. 16 perhaps?

What took her into a complete swirl of amazement was her dazzling auburn-colored hair and amber-colored eyes. She was always told by her family that she was beautiful, but her beauty seems so inferior in front of this woman.

She can't help but awe at her beauty. Even though she's impaired, she looked so beautiful compared to normal people. "Woah, she's beautiful"

"I missed you!" Hou Wei Yan exclaimed as she hugs the woman.

Dandan hugged her back with a huge smile plastered on her face. "I missed you too, sister"

As she was facing the door, Xu Dandan immediately spotted the people behind them and the woman staring at her. She released Hou Wei Yan before pushing her wheelchair closer to them. "You must be the new maid"

Her statement broke Cheng Ying's fantasies. [ She's so beautiful, but what kind of attitude is this?! ]

Hou Wei Yan who heard this sighed before she jogged back towards her. "Dandan, she's not going to be your maid. I told you, Cheng Ying needs a place to stay in"

"I see" Dandan answered with a smile as she faced Hou Wei Yan, but when she faced Cheng Ying again, her eyes hardened. "Nice to meet you, I'm Xu Dandan"

The intensity in Dandan's eyes made Cheng Ying tongue-tied. "Uhhh, I'm Cheng Ying"

"Please take care of me" she added with a polite bow. She then looked at Hou Wei Yan and gave her a little whimpering look. [ Is she seriously Sister Wei Wei's cousin? How can they be so different? ]
