57 Shame On You

Jiang Yanyan's shouts took everyone's attention. The busy room was taken by surprise by her sudden display of rage. She was still wearing her coat with the logo of Yi Lan Hospital.

As she ran toward Hou Wei Yan, her face contorted angrily that everyone can see the demon in her.

Qiu Meixiu immediately blocked her from harming Hou Wei Yan. Fortunately, her strength was far greater than Jiang Yanyan's rage. Jiang Yanyan can only stretch her hands and thrash around on Qiu Meixiu's radar. "Do you realize where you are?!"

"Let me go!" she yelled loudly as Qiu Meixiu began locking her arms and pushing her away. "Hou Wei Yan! You bitch! What did you do to my boyfriend?!"

Her statement made everyone look at Hou Wei Yan. Xie Na who immediately felt their stares and questioning look raised her brows at them. She then turned on Jiang Yanyan who was obviously pushing the blame on her best friend.

"Lu Huan was sentenced for the crime he committed. Wei Wei has nothing to do with it"

Jiang Yanyan laughed at her brazen claim. [ My boyfriend was framed! He did nothing wrong for him to be convicted. Bitch Wei is the only one capable of framing him up! ]

She ruined him! Now, she will ruin her! "Oh really? I had stayed silent to avoid a fight but you never stopped! Why do you keep on seducing my boyfriend?!"

"You shameless slut!" she screeched like a maniac as she dived into Qiu Meixiu's hands and pushed her. Qiu Meixiu hardened her gaze and pulled her by the arm again. She won't let her pass!

Unable to do anything against Qiu Meixiu's well-trained body, Jiang Yanyan can only strengthen her voice. "You called my boyfriend to your office! You seduced him! You fucking seduced him and you dare say he raped you!"

"You're a bitch hiding under such an angelic facade!"

"Lu Huan did nothing to you! Why would you frame him up and make it look like he raped you!" she shouted with certainty marked in her voice. Her statement made those working in the hospital gasp at the sudden revelation.

[ Did something happen between Lu Huan and Hou Wei Yan?! Doctor Hou framed him up?! ]

"Are you really that cruel you'd seduce men and ruin them afterward to protect yourself?" she shouted again making everyone doubt Hou Wei Yan even more. It was no secret that many men are after her. Is she really that kind of woman?

Jiang Yanyan can't help but shout even louder. "You slut!"

Xie Na who heard of this can't help but grate her teeth. [ This delusional bitch! Did she think no one will fight her? I had heard enough nonsense from her filthy mouth! ]

As she arched her brows and began walking towards her to shut her up and everyone thinking bad about Hou Wei Yan, she suddenly got pulled back by her best friend.

"Wei---"

The look on Hou Wei Yan's eyes contained extreme hate and rage. But unlike her wild rage, this one is far calmer and better. Xie Na can only shut up and look at her back as she walked toward Jiang Yanyan.

Ye Zhe was right. She doesn't need help when dealing with women. It's her fight, not theirs. They don't have to throw away their respect for women for her sake.

With this in mind, Hou Wei Yan swung her hand on Jiang Yanyan's face. It was fast and hard that she didn't have enough time to react and protect herself. Everyone stood there dumbfounded.

[ Hou Wei Yan actually raised her hands on Jiang Yanyan! Their good Doctor Hou Wei Yan! ]

"Shame on you!" she said, her voice containing her clear anger towards the woman.

As their eyes bore on her, Hou Wei Yan turned around and raised her brows. This woman needs a lesson and she doesn't have to stick to her good side when she's facing a demon. "Do you know what happened here because you left for that filthy bastard?!"

Jiang Yanyan touched her cheeks before going on a rampage again. The satisfied Qiu Meixiu smiled secretly before tightening her grip on Jiang Yanyan.

She can go on a rampage, but she can't harm Hou Wei Yan.

"How dare you!" Jiang Yanyan shouted repeatedly and angrily.

"No. How dare you!" Hou Wei Yan retaliated by making her friends and those who had already experienced Jiang Yanyan's wrath, silently clap.

She pointed at the patients and the nurses who tried to stop her earlier. "A patient nearly died because you left without treating him! You're an emergency doctor! You of all people should know how dangerous it is to leave a patient unattended!"

"You left for 5 hours! 5 hours! For who?" she questioned with hatred. "For that man?"

"I wouldn't have left if you didn't do anything to him!" Jiang Yanyan yelled back but Hou Wei Yan only smiled at her with mockery.

"He did that to himself! You accuse me of making it seem like he raped me. I have all the evidence I can use for his assault but I kept quiet!" she revealed making everyone look at each other and gasp. "I didn't tell anyone how that bastard went to my office with a big plan in his mind. Because he never succeeded anyway"

So Lu Huan did attempt to rape Hou Wei Yan. Somehow this is more believable than Jiang Yanyan's accusation. After all, among Lu Huan's many crimes was rape.

"You're the only one who revealed his filth to everyone" Hou Wei Yan remarked making Jiang Yanyan grate her teeth.

"I never seduced him. He kept on coming at me but I never entertained his advances" Hou Wei Yan honestly said. She did nothing and yet he chased her like a lunatic. That's not her fault because, in the first place, she clearly showed him that she had no interest.

"He's sitting in jail for all the crimes he committed except his assault on me! He took down a lot of lives and ruined others when he can't kill them"

Jiang Yanyan who was told otherwise went wild as she said this. [ No! Lu Huan told me he was framed! I believe my boyfriend! I will always believe him! ]

Hou Wei Yan is poisoning her mind! She's trying to escape her crime! "Stop lying! You're flipping the story, you shameless woman!"

She placed her hands on her hips. [ What kind of poison did she intake? ]

"Flipping it? His head will be cut off soon. I couldn't possibly create such a big-scale lie that the entire nation got fooled. All the evidence is there, ready to slap you in the face"

"Do you want them to shove it in your ass before you believe?" Xie Na said with obvious mockery in her voice. She's crazy, that's for sure!

As Jiang Yanyan stood there in a bit of confusion, Hou Wei Yan decided to give the final blow. "I don't know what medicine he used on you, but if you're really a genius you should know how to determine right now what's true"

After stating this, she walked away and went straight to her patient. As the guards came in, Hou Wei Yan immediately gave them a serious look. "Take her away, she's disturbing our patients"

The guards nodded their heads and began taking her from Qiu Meixiu's grip. She gave her to them but she followed behind. She knew very well how far rage can take a person. "Hou Wei Yan!"

When she looked at the silent nurses, Hou Wei Yan can't help but think of the injustice they suffered. She immediately turned around. "Ah, and call the police. I want to sue her"

"Hou Wei Yan! We're not done yet!" she yelled repeatedly as the guards dragged her away. "Let go of me!"

"Hou Wei Yan!"

"You slut! Hou Wei Yan!"

As Jiang Yanyan's voice died down, Xie Na finally walked toward Hou Wei Yan. She clutched her chest with a sigh. "That was scary. I knew she was obsessed with Lu Huan but for it to reach this point, it's terrifying"

Hou Wei Yan can only sigh with her. She never imagined she would lose her mind after his arrest.

"What's going to happen now?" Xie Na asked as she repeatedly glanced at the closed door of the ER.

"I don't know" she honestly replied. "I don't think she's sane enough to work here anymore"

Xie Na nodded her head. Yup. She's not sane anymore. If Yi Lan decides to continue her employment, then she will begin thinking that they are the crazy ones. "Love can really make someone crazy, ha?"

"Perhaps" Hou Wei Yan replied. She had seen many dramas and she must admit, she had encountered this situation of obsessive love more than once.

They are no joke and she can testify to that. She thought as she unconsciously touched her neck before shaking her head.

"Come on, we have patients" she said before reverting to the smiling Hou Wei Yan that everyone knows.
