1 A Little Context

The Emperor's Amendments (TEA for short) is a series of short novels that originally belonged to my OCs. It grew along with my friends and I as we pitched in ideas and beings. Now, it is an established a world of its own.

The first book will center on a Princess who lost her crown yet found strength and power in her journey to regain it.

*This is a brief background, not the official synopsis or summary!

Meet Mereille Chaneli de la Lune Alteiros, our Crown Princess. Well, that was her name before the Massacre of Belladonna, the reigning Empress of Alteiros; her mother. She's going to be thrown into the unknown for half the book.

Now meet Ren. No last name, honorifics or titles. She was a mere servant for a count's estate in the eastern Elysian kingdom. Her background, they assumed, originated from the commoners of the Alteiros people. No one had a clue on who she is— or was. Not even herself. But when she is offered a chance of freedom by a certain god— me, the author, cough cough— she gladly accepts.

The nation where she now resides, the Elysian Empire, held the key to her mission: the lost child of the god, aka Mereille. But there's a problem. As time goes on, without the Princess's bloodline or light mages to help purify the land, a dark plasma rots the planet. Everything it touches, it corrodes. And there will only be a certain number of years left before the black mist can be pushed back.

Ren wastes no time on making a name for herself, going as "Sere" in the Elysian army. She embarks on

her journey, young and ever so temperamental.

But currently in the central kingdom of Elysia, a frantic emperor woke in the midst of his court. He turned back time through wielding power given from the gods. Hadeon Aur'kleos vowed to amend things in this lifetime for his beloved, who's death was at his hands in the previous.

It only had been a year since he took the throne by massacring his older brother. His reign was young, and his authority was nothing but dust to the naked eye.

Yet in order to save his love— his right hand, his friend, his empress— Hadeon had to start from the beginning.
