The Wolf Pack

After a nap of about 1 hour and a half, Eden woke up startled. He had not woken up because of an enemy who would have come to attack him, far from it. He had woken up because of the noise of one of his notifications, or rather 5 notifications that came all after each other. In addition, once he had come to his senses, he noticed that the notification bubble was not the usual blue, but rather a red as if to show him that the notification was an alert and that he had to be careful.

[Your illusion has been destroyed]

[Your illusion has been destroyed]

[Your illusion has been destroyed]

...

[Do you want to observe their memories?]

[Yes/No]

After reading the notifications, he could only be speechless. Never had he thought that his illusions would have died so quickly. They possessed a minimum of intelligence to know when they had to retreat to regenerate, and thus be able to attack again afterward. However, this time, all his illusions were destroyed almost at the same time, which made him all the more nervous. Especially since they couldn't lose if they had all gathered at 5.

No matter the enemy, he didn't see them lose. Unless it was an area boss, and especially here, probably the king of the wolves, or a wolf with golden fur instead of the usual white or silver. And if that were the case, it was going to make things all the more complicated.

However, the only good thing in all this was that he had leveled up 4 times, thus bringing him to level 6. Moreover, he had no more than 40 points of stats to distribute. However, before distributing them, he thought it would be better for him to see what had caused the death of his illusions. Going into a battle without information would be the worst thing to do right?

[Do you want to observe their memories?]

[Yes/No]

'Yes'

After clicking on the 'Yes' option, Eden's spirit began to drift. A few moments later and he was in a dark place with a giant screen, which was probably his subconscious. Once ready, the images began to drift on the screen.

Gradually, he saw all their actions, how they fought, or rather how their fight was one-sided. None of the wolves could counterattack, they were all slashed without any respite, no matter how many

wolves in the group, whether they were 10 or 15, couldn't even scratch them.

However, once they had finished decimating all the wolves in the area, there was only one place left where they still hadn't explored. It was a cave that was very dark from the outside, but with a faint glow at the end of it.

Once they had all regrouped, they began to head inward. After about 10 minutes of walking, they began to hear a noise. However, they did not expect to see what was in front of them.

In front of them was a pack of wolves.

This pack consisted of more than 200 wolves with white fur, 10 wolves with silver fur, and finally, 1 wolf with golden fur. This pack could certainly bring a lot of XP, however, fighting with a pack of wolves composed of more than 200 wolves would be considered an impossible task.

However, their task was to kill as many monsters as possible so that the real Eden could earn as much XP as possible, and thus, maybe he could then succeed in killing those that were still alive.

So they all began to change their weapons into arcs, like the very first of the clones. Once ready, they all began to charge arrows of explosive mana. Each of the clones had put 5 arrows on their bows, before multiplying them by 2 with the mirror illusion, which made 10 arrows per clone, so 50 explosive arrows.

Once the bow was stretched, they let go of the rope creating a rain of arrows. All the arrows were separated by 3 meters each to cover a maximum area to let the real Eden finish the job afterward.

When the arrow's impact finally touched the ground, they all began to explode. The explosions were not very large, nor were they very powerful. However, the fact that there were more than 50 arrows with all the same effects created such an explosion that even some part of the cave began to collapse.

When the explosions had calmed down, a field of dead wolves could be seen. More than 150 white wolves had been killed as well as 2 silver wolves. The clones, however, were cut by a wind blade from the golden wolf who seems to be extremely angry before returning to the bottom of the cave.

The survival of the golden wolf was more important than the pack itself, so no matter what happened, the latter had to survive.

Once the 'mini-movie' had ended, Eden's mind began to return to reality. He understood the reason why his clones had been killed almost all at the same time, but more importantly, the fact that they had killed so many wolves before he died made him happy.

This "suicidal" act will help him enormously because firstly, it had extremely reduced the number of wolves, from 211 wolves to only 59. Secondly, this will allow him to get a lot of equipment in a few minutes or hours. Thirdly, it had allowed him to climb his last two levels, thus bringing him to level 6.

However, for his plan to work, he needed a larger pool of mana, and that's why he decided to put his remaining 40 points in intelligence, giving him more than 400 MP, and the amount thus to 700 MP in total with the panoply bonus included.

Before setting out for the cave where the pack was located, Eden decided to create 5 more clones, with only one archer in the team, so that his plan could work perfectly.

After 1 hour and a half of walking at regular speed, they finally arrived in front of the cave. On the road, not a single enemy was seen, only bodies of dead wolves, from which Eden and his clones extirpated their mana hearts and also the equipment they left behind.

So now, it had more than 150 F-rank mana cores and more than 150 pieces of equipment that

were all part of the same panoply. Once he had put everything in his inventory which seemed to have unlimited space, he began to enter the cave followed by his clones.

After a 10-minute walk, they finally arrived at the open part of the cave. But this time, it was not a pack of more than 200 wolves waiting for them, but just sixty wolves who all seemed frightened, probably because of the murderous aura exuded by the golden wolf, which did not affect Eden in the slightest.

Once ready, he created a small compact box with his blood weapon and placed it inside more than fifty red spheres that looked like grenades.

Eden planned to use the time he spent walking and collecting bodies to create compact mana grenades, with over 700 PM inside. So he did this during his 1 hour and half of walking with his 5 clones which made them a total of 53 grenades exactly.

Knowing that his mana took a little less than 10 minutes to regenerate, it was the maximum he could do with only him and 5 clones.

So the clone with the bow began loading an arrow of carrier mana so that they could drop the grenade pack in the middle of the pack.

Once the rope was fully stretched, he pulled the arrow so that the arrow had a parabolic trajectory so that it could have as much momentum as possible on impact.

On impact with the ground, the box containing all the grenades was dismantled, and directly afterward, a blinding white light entered the field of vision followed by a huge thud that could be heard for miles around.

Once the noise had dissipated, the caves began to collapse. All the paths that the cave had naturally created over the years, all began to collapse. Debris began to fall on the place where the wolves were a few minutes ago. All this destruction was produced by one man, in less than a minute, and all this for XP as well as equipment that he will be able to sell a fortune to those who were low levels.

Once the destruction of the cave had subsided, Eden reactivated all the notifications he had previously disabled, in case something happened, such as the golden wolf that survived the grenade. Even if this possibility had a very low chance to come to reality, it was still a possibility, and only an idiot would lower his guard in an environment as "dangerous" like this.

Eden then receive a lot of notifications, and in those, one thing had caught his eye.
