The boss' last stand

Usually, a monster that receives that much damage should be dead. And it was especially the case when it was low-level and that three people would continuously harass the monster until it die.

Though, it would have been the case for a normal monster, and not a boss.

The demon slime has indeed suffered a lot of damage, and it was near the death door, but since it was a boss, it had more vitality than a normal monster. And since it was a demon-type monster, its vitality was naturally higher than other monsters in general.

And because of that, when Eden thought the boss was dead, it wasn't.

"Eden wait, I didn't receive the kill notification!"

"Wha-..." Eden turned around and tried to say, but a giant smokescreen stopped his voice.

The boss who was on the ground a moment ago hit Eden with a powerful energy wave. But fortunately for him, thanks to Elric's shout, he managed to dodge it at the last moment.
