Chapter 61: A Loyalty Check

I felt secure and confident knowing the loyalty of my men. Fathid and his faction also helped alleviate my worries. Thinking that they may help in my plans.

We continued to talk in my room, thinking of our next plans. Despite the numerical advantage that Fathid's faction provided me. They were still not enough to take on the Order. 

"What now, sir?" Walther asked and continued, "With Fathid's faction on our side, our liability increases."

"We can take care of ourselves, Sir, Walther!" Fathid interrupted, "We have our resources and I assure you, we are not dead weight!"

Walther hearing this almost lost his control, "I still don't trust you..." He paused for a while as he composed himself, "You wanted our leader dead, but your change of skin did not impress me. But for the benefit of the doubt, since our leader agreed with you. I will concede, however, I still don't trust you!"
