After chatting for a while, the trio went to bed in a happy mood. The following morning, Gabriela didn't wake up early as usual, instead she wake up rather late. It was already ten in the morning when she woke up and she couldn't help but sigh. This is the first time she had slept this long in bed. When she was in her grandmother's place, she use to wake up by five in morning to cook, clean and do all the house chores so that she can leave to school early. There are even some days she would wash clothes with her hands and prepare lunch for sixteen people before leaving to school. As such, sometimes she use to wake up by four and sleep by two or 12midnit.

Sigh, Gabriela got out of bed and decide to put all those painful memories at the back of her head. It has been over for three years now and even though she still has to take care of Daniela, it was of no big deal.

After doing her morning routine, she went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but as soon as she step out of their room, a delicious aroma wafted into her nose making her stomach to grumble. Eric had woken up by 8, so he decided to make breakfast for them.

Touched, Gabriela dash into the kitchen and hug him from behind before greeting him, "Good morning daddy".

Eric turn around and poke her nose, "Morning kitten. How was your night? and where is that lazy pig?"

"My night was fine. And seriously, most you call my baby lazy pig?", reply Gabriela.

"Hehehe, looks like my kitten is finally showing it claws", said Eric.

"Hmm. What are you cooking?", asked Gabriela.

"White rice, red tomato chicken sauce, vegetable salad and of course I made some pizza", said Eric.

"What? But this is just breakfast", lamented Gabriela.

She doesn't cook that much for breakfast, because she still has to save money for Daniela's school fees. Besides, she didn't go for her usual holiday job because of that naferious birthday.

Sighing to himself, Eric ruffle her hair and kiss her cheek, before pointing towards the stack of groceries bag in the other end of the kitchen counter. "I bought everything online last night and have it deliver at your door step this morning. So there's nothing to worry about. Besides, I just wanted to make a sumptuous meal for you and Niela. It has been long since you last visited me and father, so I really miss you kittens. But it doesn't matter if you don't want to have this now, we can rap them up for afternoon use and make a light breakfast.

Touch to tears, Gabriela hug him again and said, "There's no need. It just that, I used our monthly expenditure to buy cake for Harry's birthday so we don't really have enough to spend this month. Daniela had quit her part-time job and I didn't do any holiday job this holiday, so we intend to limit the way we spend throughout this month."

"It's ok Ella, you can always ask me for money if you need some. You are not just anyone, but my sister and kitten, so always feel free to ask for my help", said Eric.

But deep down, he knew that she wouldn't. She has always been this stubborn and refuse to ask him for help even at a very difficult time. She was indeed a stubborn kitten.

Pouting, Gabriela said, "I don't need your help. Am now a woman and not a child anymore. I and Daniela can take care of ourselves. All what you need to do, is to give us a sister in-law."

That word really hurt Eric, but he had already expected this from her.

"Ok I will".

"You are the best", Gabriela jump on him.

"Fine, go and sit down while I serve the food", said Eric.

"Ok, but first I have to eat some cereals", said Gabriela as she smile mischievously.

She knew that her rice Krispies has finished and only a little quantity of Daniela's muesli was remaining, so she was going to finish that before her sister wake's up.

After mixing the muesli with milk and adding some bananas to it, Gabriela began to woof down the muesli as if someone will steal it from her at any moment.

"Morning", said Daniela who had just woken up.

"Morning kitten, how was your night?", reply Eric as he began to carry their breakfast to the dinning table.

"My night was the best night ....,

Heyeeee, why are you eating my muesli?", scream Daniela.

"Woops!! I couldn't find my rice Krispies because someone gave it to her princess as snacks. So why won't I have your muesli?", retorted Gabriela.

"She's also your daughter, so give me my muesli", scream Daniela again.

"If you want it, come and get it", said Gabriela as she stood up and started running towards the sitting room.

Daniela almost cry, for she likes muesli so much. How was she to be running around with her sister now that she was so hungry. They had both skip dinner yesterday because of her and now she was eating her muesli.

"You can have it, but I won't let you off that easily mummy Ella".

"Tsk!! Alright, here have some my baby", said Gabriela.

She couldn't bear to see that sad look on her baby's face.

Daniela's eyes immediately lit up and without a word, she snatch the bowl away from her sister's hand and began to eat her muesli.

"..."

Speechless, Eric pick up his phone and other for ten packs of muesli and rice Krispies, while Gabriela brought plates for their breakfast.
