"Life" can be defined in many ways, so can your own. My life was like a haven as a human, lots of chicks and tons of money to spend. I never had a straight mind as I lived throughout my spoiled days. My mindset was like one of those ruthless kings you would see in old stories. Only cared about myself and the money, people thought I was crazy, I agree with them. I bet they were so glad on the day they announced my death. Assassinated in my own bedroom! Now that's crazy, I was in the middle of counting my money and bam! My window was left open so somebody sneaked in and stabbed me right in the back. It was a slow and painful death, but it really could've been worse.

'I've been in a void this whole time, I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. Last memory, my own death, proof I'm in a weird void?'

"Zachary Mockmery." A lady speaks.

'I keep ignoring this random lady's voice that's calling out my name, she might even know who I really am. I'm trying to go and move in this "void" but I just seem to be frozen.'

"Zachary Mockmery." She speaks again.

'This is like the tenth time she's called out my name. I don't want to respond but my body is numb so I guess I should talk.'

"Hm?" I try to respond.

'Why can't I speak? Is it a problem with my soul after death or something? How did I even get in a void, what's up with that?'

"Zachary Mockmery, age 25, confirmed." The lady says. "Height, 6'5, brown hair and eye color, light skin tone as well."

'Wait how does she know what I look like? Hold up, am I not wearing any clothes?! Who are you and where exactly am I?!'

"I am called, Flotic, you are in what is known as 'The Confirmation Gate'." Flotic responds. "You are allowed to choose what you can be, in your next life."

'I can choose what I can be in my next life? So I could be literally anything?'

"Correct." Flotic responds. "You have 1 hour to choose your being."

'Wait, is this next world full of magic and stuff? If so, what are things that someone can do?'

"Correct, this world is full of magic and power." Flotic responds. "Some can be kings, queens, lords, angels, demons, trolls, goblins, ogres, elves, fairies, witches, wizards, dwarfs, or humans. All have available routes of royalty and leadership, such as, kings, queens and lords. Often available routes of adventurous specimens, such as, guilds, quests, and heroes. Trolls, along with goblins and ogres, take over sections of lands in destructive motives. Elves, along with fairies, with various skills and magic, controlling the forests grounds, some individually. Humans are known to take over much open and larger lands. They have progressed along side dwarfs as rulers and much more that can be known throughout all species. Witches and wizards, with the use of various knowledge for magic and spells, along with mages. Angels and demons are ruled by gods and devils, though often do not take part in this world. Creatures like dragons, mermaids, and much more, are found further away in caves and lagoons."

'So that's all they have? It's a pretty long list but I wanna think about it. If I were royalty that'd be pretty sick and much like before. Although never too late to try something new I guess. Uhh Flotic.'

"Yes." Flotic responds.

'Can I be an elf? Also, can I customize what I look like and what skills and stuff I get?'

"You are allowed to choose elf and customize your appearance." Flotic adds. "You cannot choose all skills and magic. That is based off of your choices and experiences. You are allowed to choose a beginner skill and magic spell."

'Well, then I still want to be an elf, but first I'll get my look customized.'

"Option to use your past body as reference, yes or no." Flotic says.

'Sure, is there a mirror or something around here?'

"Mirror object commencing." Flotic says.

The void stops being so empty and a mirror pops up showing my current body. 'I literally look like I was given sleeping pills, geez. I'll just change my hair to silver and eyes to blue and keep my current skin tone. Of course the pointy elf ears, I want a piercing in my left ear, golden hoop with 5 diamonds hidden inside it.'

"Confirmed look." Flotic says. "What clothing is that you desire?"

'I'll have a gray turtle neck shirt and black pants with black boots. I might try to find something else to wear when I can.'

"Confirmed look." Flotic says. "Would you like to know the available skills and magic spells?"

'Sure.'

"Available skills of boosts, superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and the five senses. Available magic, such as, dark, sky, moon, and sun magic." Flotic says.

'I think I'll have the five senses and some illusion magic.'

"Confirmed skill, five senses." Flotic says. "Confirmed, moon magic spell, illusion."

'Cool, I'm guessing I'll be a moon elf?'

"If you wish to specialize in moon activities, it is possible." Flotic responds. "Do you choose to confirm this option?"

'Sure, why not. It'd make sense if I'll have that magic spell.'

"Confirmed, moon elf, specializing in moon activities." Flotic adds. "Will you choose your name and surname?"

'Huh, how about Al Krelin.'

"Chosen, Al Krelin, spelled, A-L K-R-E-L-I-N." Flotic says. "Confirm this?"

'Yes.'

"Confirmed name, Al Krelin." Flotic says. "Confirmation to enter the world?"

'Hold on, am I allowed to bring you with me? Also, am I allowed to be an immortal being?'

"That is an invalid option." Flotic responds. "You are allowed to be an immortal being. Do you wish to confirm this choice?"

'Dang, I guess I'll confirm that along with going now.'

"Confirmed, new immortal being entering 'World of Soltica'." Flotic says. "Al Krelin, immortal moon elf, entering forest lands of soltica."

The moment she stopped talking, everything went white. Next thing I knew, I opened up my eyes and I was laying on the ground. I was facing the blue sky with the extremely bright sun. I got up and there was green everywhere around me. There were six trees around me, oddly in a perfect circle.

'Why is it so ugh, green, and healthy? Do they have electronics in this world? I should've asked Flotic before. Though I doubt they have anything like electronics here.'

"Well, this should be fun." I dust myself off.
