7 Breaking the news! 7

The whole ride home I spent at jinx's side she was still in shock that I had blasted the crazy lady in the clock. That crazy woman had blasted the love of my life and what was I supposed to do let her walk away and do it again when she charged a second time. No I was not going to let her do that. As team leader and a boyfriend I was not going to let anyone else get hurt. When we got back to legion HQ I went to John and told him about our encounter with the crazy hood lady. And john was not surprised at the tail.

 He was surprised about how I had attacking back. He told me to meet him in the training room after I made sure Jinx and the others were ok. When I had entered the room it was dark so I made an energy ball to light my way through the maze that we had left up after I was chosen as leader. But this time it was different it was like I was being watched from every angle. The room was cold and there was a dim light coming from the center of the maze. As I entered the chamber I found john holding a lantern and a folder.

When we met in the middle he handed me the folder. As I opened the folder he started from the beginning when our sister had went missing. She was on a mission like we were but it was a solo op. she had run into a woman with a similar Mo but she was more challenging then the hood lady. That she had taken down the second best warrior in l league. And that the last thing shown on her camera carran was getting dragged away by her assailant. And that was the last time that John had seen either of them.

when I heard the news I had a thought about carran that it might have been her on the smoke stack. And if so was she hurt because of me now or did I free her when the bolt hit. And if so was she under control of the woman that had up ducted her. Then I was pulled back to earth when John showed me a video about ten minuets after we had left for the shuttle home the hooded lady had started to limp out of the complex and took of her hood and it was Carran I had hit her leg and she was alive but she was bleeding badly until I saw her use the electricity around her to repair her leg.
