4 Elemental Paths

"There are 7 Elemental Paths, after unlocking all of them, you will be able to refine Elemental Particles. This is what you will be doing, when you unlock all of them, you will resume Sword Training." Xian Yu said before leaving.

Xian Hei sat down reflecting on what his father had said, he had to find all 7 of his Elemental Paths, and then unblock them with the Elemental Particles he could use. He began to meditate, looking in the space beneath his chest and above his stomach, this was the place where his Elemental Paths would be located and future Celestial Core would be made. To find them it was not so simple to visually see them, but instead using Elemental Particles to find an area where the Elemental Particles would be attracted to. This attraction is hard to sense, but when you find it, you have located one of your Elemental paths.

He gathered the surrounding Elemental Particles and led them around the area where the Elemental Paths would be located. He was scanning the area with his Elemental Particles, a faint purple energy was moving throughout the pitch black space.

"Is it finally happening? My Elemental Energy is being attracted towards something, is it an Elemental Path?" He was hoping it to be an Elemental Path.

He let the Elemental Particles move towards the object it was being attracted to, to his joy, he found something which resembled what an Elemental Path was according to his Father. It seemed like an orb like object made of pure energy, when he tried putting some Elemental Energy into it, there was a barrier which is what he had to break to unblock his Elemental Paths. He thought he could unblock it right now, he had a sense telling him that he could do it.

He began gathering Elemental Particles in mass quantity in 10 minutes, he took in a deep breath and began trying to unblock his Elemental Paths with raw Elemental Particles. The barrier began cracking.

Xian Hei began smiling, he was excited. With this excitement, he began gathering and sending more Elemental particles with more efficiency.

After a few minutes, the barrier broke, and it seemed that all the excess Elemental Particles and the Elemental Particles he used to unblock his Elemental Path were absorbed by the Elemental Path.

"This is amazing, I can feel stronger too." Xian Hei was determined to unblock more of his Elemental Paths.

Two hours passed, similar to this process, he had unblocked his second, third, fourth Elemental Path. Finally, Xian Hei had awoken from his Cultivation. He felt his Cultivation session was very fruitful, he had unblocked 5 more of his Elemental Paths. He now had 1 left until unblocking all 7 of his Elemental Paths.

"I can't wait until Father and Mother know about this."

He looked at the time and realized 2 hours had passed, he was extremely tired, he had felt like going to sleep, but wanted to tell his parents about what happened.

He got up, he felt his legs a little tired, he stretched a bit and then exited the room. He saw his mother waiting for him outside the room. "Mother, guess what, I unblocked 6 of my Elemental Paths, I have 1 more left." He said with a grin.

"Wait, What?" She took a minute to understand what happened. "You unblocked 6 of your Elemental Paths?!" She was shocked and proud, usually, it would take between a week and a month, even for talented people, it took her a week to unblock her Elemental Paths, and she was exclaimed as a genius.

"Mother, where's Father?" Xian Hei asked, he wanted to tell him right now, he thought he would be proud of him.

She thought for a second then remembered and said "He went to go work after he was done training you, I think he'll return in a few hours."

Xian Hei looked down. "That's too bad, I wanted to see how I improved after unblocking 6 of my Elemental Paths.

Yi Xiuying had a mad thought in the back of her mind. 'Although he doesn't know about it, why can't he ask me." She thought even though it was a little unreasonable.

"Xian Hei, I could train you, I'm not one bit worse than your Father except for Swordsmanship, you know what? Since I don't go have work, I could train you full time in Cultivation, and your Father can teach you in Swordsmanship." She said having an almost impossibly noticeable mad tone.

Xian Hei was confused, It took him some time to comprehend what was happening. He then trusted in his Mother and then firmly said yes.

"Now let's go to the training room." His mother said. Xian Hei was crying on the inside, he was already so tired, he wanted to sleep.

They went back to the room, they stepped into the practice area. She began to speak, "I'm pretty sure you don't know Techniques, am I right?"

"Yeah, I don't know any Techniques except for basic swordsmanship." Xian Hei nodded and said.

"Then this will be the first technique you will learn from me, It's a very good technique and good for your foundation. It is called Draconic Energy Technique, It is a technique used for many things, gathering and absorbing Elemental Energy, give you Dragon Aura, and Dragon Armor." She said all those things which are true, to make her son become excited and want to learn it from her.

Xian Hei was allured by the technique and his mother's plan worked, he didn't know what Dragon Aura and Dragon Armor were, but they sounded cool and strong. He then hurriedly said "Disciple greets master." His mother grinned, her plan worked, she knew Xian Hei didn't say this to his Father.

With a laugh, she began talking, "Now let me tell you how to learn the technique and the origins of this technique." Xian Hei hurriedly nodded.

"First I will talk about the origins of this technique. When your Father and I were younger, around 10 years ago, we travelled to the ruins of an Ancient City that was destroyed, in there, your father and I had a test each, I'm not too sure about his, but in mine, I had to face a strong Dragon, and once I won, my reward was this technique. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the technique, it had to be Cultivated by someone who had not started their actual Cultivation yet." She told the story without too much details.

Xian Hei was stunned, by these words, his Parents should be very strong and they were adventuring together too when they were younger, he now was fully confirmed that this technique had to be very strong.

"Now, onto how to use the technique!" She exclaimed.
