1 Chapter 1:The crystal

It all began with the 5 disasters, the first one was a huge tsunami that hit the city of Arctic, which was originally made out of ice but it has since melted and it is unknown what has happened to the people that lived there but it is said that the tsunami never stopped. The second disaster was huge volcanoes erupting at the same time covering the small town of Sender in ashes and fire. The third disaster was a earthquake that submerged a village called Terra in huge piles of earth. The fourth disaster was a tornado that threw a kingdom called Grounding-ton into the sky.   Then the worst and final disasters is a disease that spreads mainly in my small town of shadyWillow.  This disease caused many people to become possessed by strange tiny black shards of crystals, as a result of this my town had to build a reinforced glass wall that divided the infected from the healthy and everyone started calling it the dark plague.

I was sitting in my room upstairs, day dreaming about the adventures I would go on and all the good I will do;especially for my mother if I had powers, When suddenly a familiar voice interrupted my day dreaming:"Robin! Robin!" Said a boy's voice. "Oh hey TJ."  I said tiredly. TJ was wearing a heavy black leather coat, black pants, a red winter hat; that covered his red streaked black hair, and he had bright yellow shoes on . TJ has been my best friend for years and he is the only one that knew about my mother's "condition".

"We're going to be late for school!" TJ says with a smirk and run down stairs. "Oh alright,let me get ready!"I yelled and started putting everything in my light pink bag and got dressed: I put on a dark purple sweatshirt over my bright green T-shirt,and jeans. When I finally got downstairs TJ was no where to be seen but my mother was sleeping soundly on the couch in the living room. As I made my way to the door; my mother suddenly jolted up, eyes changing back and forth from black to her original eye color blue, sharp teeth biting the air as she looked at me. Then suddenly in a whirlwind of movement and growls I was knocked on my back, hitting the floor hard. Is this the end? I thought. But then my mother began to speak in a raspy voice: "My dear child, I wish you didn't have to see me like this every day. I'm sorry that I did what I did when we lived in Shorestown but it was for the sake of protecting you and in the end all I got a was loft necklace that granted me bad luck and disease. You know what I think you should have it since it might be different for you..." She grabbed out of her pocket a silver necklace with a black half of a crystal that shimmered and made a small thunk as she put it on the floor board next to my head. "M-mother?" I stammered. "HAHAHAHAHA... TAKE IT!!" My mother howled. Then her hands became claws and she slowly dragged it toward my face....the next thing I know everything turned black.
