As me and my mother walked to the great hall, I thought about how life would go on when my mother returned to the village, would they all be okay? What would happened if they moved on and left me...

"We're a walk away from the great hall Lumi, that's where you'll be sorted into your dormitory and paired with a tutor for the year.", my mother explained.

"You need to pay close attention to this part, alright", she said looking at me.

I nodded at her and she started,"Number one, you have to promise me to not get into mischief, ALL the kinds okay, pranking, staying up and...", she paused looking at me with the side eye stare, then said," well you know what I'm talking about." I thought about it for a minute, oh god, THAT.

"Mother that's dirty! I'm only fifteen and anyway, I don't have a boyfriend and don't plan on... well what you said", I replied knudging her in the arm,

"Just checking", she said under her breath, smiling. She had a beautiful smile, I didn't get to see it often because most of the time I was cooking or in the edge if the forest looking for antlers or mushrooms. I acted like a little girl back home, playing with the children. It was the place where it snowed all day, and thinking about that, even though it did I always had a warm and peaceful feeling. I missed it.

But now I was in a new landscape where the skies were clear and the grass was luscious and green. A new adventure.
