Chapter 51 Warmth

Gu Yundong was drawing on paper. 

According her preliminary estimations, there would be seven to eight rooms. 

There was also be the main room, the kitchen, the dining room, the laundry room, the warehouse, and a cattle and horse shed, where they could also park a carriage. Even if they couldn't afford a carriage now, they would in the future. 

You would need to go through a gate to enter the courtyard. 

When the times came, they would plant grapes and dates in the courtyard, build a swing frame, and install a stone table with a bench. 

Here, they would be able to eat fruits while enjoying the coolness of the night during the summer and bask in the sun during the winter. 

The structure directly opposite the courtyard gate will be the main room, while the room on the left side will be a study room, and on the right side will be both the dining room and the kitchen. 

As for the left and right wings, they would be divided into two to three rooms.

She planed to build a small alcove inside of each room to use as a bathroom, which would make bathing more convenient. 

  A warehouse will be built at the entrance of the courtyard. Farm tools were indispensable in the countryside. Hoes, ploughs and baskets could be stored there, and a laundry room could also be built. 

She could tell just from her drawing that those buildings would occupy about one mu of land. Sure enough, she made the right decision buying another acre of land. 

  The backyard will need to be fenced, and when the time comes, it would be prepared to grow vegetables, and there will also be a place to raise pigs and chickens. 

The cattle and horse shed will be built are also in the backyard. There, a door will also be installed. Once they acquired a carriage, they would be able to drive in directly from this door.

  After Gu Yundong finished drawing the plan, she began to determine the dimensions. 

  The other three on the bed woke up. Gu Yunshu got up and washed his face. Then, he walked to the table and picked up the drawing. He tilted his head and looked at his sister, "Sister, is this our home?"

  Gu Yunshu hummed, of course she was the lightest, how heavy could she be as three years old.

  Gu Yunke's little head hovered the drawing, but she couldn't understand it. She could only see black lines and squares. She couldn't read, so she didn't know what was written on it. She raised her somewhat confused face and looked at Gu Yunshu. 

  Gu Yunshu after thinking about it started to tell her. Gu Yundong saw that what he was saying was right, so she didn't say anything, simply lowered her head and continued drawing. 

  In addition to drawing the basic floor plans, there were also some details that needed to be drawn clearly to avoid burdensome explanations later. 

  MotherYang was unpacking things on the side, and the atmosphere in the room became warm and harmonious at a moment. 

  But this warmth was broken after only an hour. As Gu Yundong was immersed in drawing, Chen Yulan came and knocked on the door.
