The Guild

"Never thought in my life, I would peacefully walk beside you." The red-clad archer walked calmly beside the bustling road addressing the boy who walked with him.

Every so often, the pedestrian and other people would shift their gaze towards them. Considering, they were somewhat a sight for sore eyes in the tightly jammed street. Not weird, when we considered two humans with abnormal height and exotic attire unless you were a Boarman or an elf.

"What a coincidence I have the same feeling, counterfeiter" Retorted the red-haired swordsman, he could be considered that as a katana strapped on his waist.

He now could never be the same distorted person anymore, considering the Heroic-spirit that fused with him and his counterpart memories.

"Well, what a sight onii-chan, a kettle called the pot black," Remarked another red-clad feminine archer who sat snuggly on her elder brother shoulder.

"And here I see, another faker imitate someone saying" Smirked Emiya.

"Tch...Hypocrites"

"As we all are, my dear sister." The two were different outcomes of the choice they were once made, and the other tried to imitate the two, it was very comical that they pointed their hand at each other.

"You know Archer-nii, why only we are to be ordered to investigate this so-called dungeon." The world was very similar to the game she usually played with Illya back in her world, and she didn't know whether to be happy with it or not. Considering, now she can't meet them for a long time, perhaps.

"The others possess a divine power, you never know what this world would react to them especially when we heard Ishtar and Freyja of this world is among top cream of this city and Kiritsugu is out of the question with his social records."

"And for that, we were dispatched instead. They also will receive training from mother to suppress their power and nature" Considering Irisviel is a full-fledged magus specializing in divine power throughout her life. And luckily the mansion was also equipped with a strong bounded-field that also have a capability to suppress the aura that emitted by divine power.

It was too convenient for their liking then again one does not simply see a gift through a horse mouth.

"But onii-chan, when we searched through this pattern, one other way they will get bored stuck inside the mansion and you know…"

"Trouble is inevitable" simultaneously they replied, a chuckled escaped their lips.

"Well, at least we will gather more information to steer our courses in the future. Assess and judge the situation that will come."

Each of us was too tired to be a fate chew toy, after all. They had similar thought on the back of their minds.

"So this is the guild, just like a stereotypical RPG" Kuro raised her face, looking at the symbol of swords and shield etched on the wall.

"We have passed the rush-hour, so it supposed to be empty of adventurers inside." He remembered the intel Kiritsugu gave him before this.

"Welcome to the guild, ah it looks like you're new faces here, would you want to register?" It has been a hectic day for Eina Tulle, her co-workers were currently having a lunch break as she still registering papers and report regarding the minotaur outbreak at the lower level of the dungeon.

So the dungeon has to be closed down and was currently under constant-high alert if there's any case the Minotaur will break through the dungeon and reached the surface.

A request has been passed through the Loki familia who currently handle the issues, though a lot of adventurers came and complain about it. Most of them are lv1 and lv2 adventurers as they were barely scraping magic stone every day.

Sigh, after this there will be…oh judging from their attire, newcomers perhaps?

"Welcome to the guild, ah it looks like you're new faces here, would you want to register?" She greeted them with a smile, "Whoa, Onii-chan looks it's an elf" one of them with glimmer with her eyes exclaimed as she beamed on her.

"Don't be so rude, Kuro and don't point your fingers either it's a bad habit" the older male, who have the same attire as her Sister? I think? Tried to placate down the excited mood of her sister.

Maybe it's her first seeing an elf? With a pleasant smile, she replied, "Well, I don't want to disappoint but I'm only a half-elf you know."

She beamed once more, "Whoa! Isn't that much way cooler than before, with a beauty of an elf and tenacity of human you prevail and blast your way in the slave industry of Deskjob!" She exclaimed.

"Ahahaha…I have to halfway agree with you there. You have an energetic sister there eh Mr…" She sweatdropped on the little sister antics, her words carried a sliver truth in it, she thought.

"I'm sorry for that, and just called me Archer" She raised a brow at that but not willing to probe further than that. "And this is my…brother Shirou emiya." Was that irritation on his face? Must be sibling fight or something.

"And here we have my sister, Chloe von Einzbern" Von? As in nobility? She remembered the lesson her mother taught her when dealing with the likes of nobles.

"Just call me Kuro, you know!" Looks she wasn't the types of those hard-stoned noble.

And what with this all-over-place name, aren't they supposed to be family, different cultures? No no maybe they just lame at hiding it.

"Uhm if you were wondering, we are step-sibling and due to some circumstances we retain our family name." The red-haired swordsman smiled wryly at her, he must be noticed her troubled expression.

"Ah I see and I'm Eina tulle, please call me Eina then would you want to register as adventurers here?"

"We would like that, but before that are there any strings attached when we become one?"Uhm, cautious and sensible adventurers, they were the type who survived inside the dungeon longer.

"No, you're your own person, but the guild still adheres some rules though most adventurers won't remember them so we simplified it into 'don't kill your fellow adventurers' and 'don't cause disturbance or crime either' in the city."

"Relatable" he nods in understanding.

"Ah, before that you need to provide your Familia first. It is the requirement to be an adventurer because, without the blessing of Falna, we mortal couldn't stand a chance with higher tier monster."

"No, we just arrived yesterday with our familia"

"A new familia then, you need to register your familia first. Ah, although adventurers have rather lax rules it is different when compared with Familia."

"Why is that" the sister chirped in, hmm why is it.

"It is because we treat them as our associate inside the Oratorio, and it was to make sure the familia activity was legal as they need to write an activity log once in three months at least. And a familia need to at least contribute to the city in the form of their specialty, if you were an exploration familia then a dungeon expedition, if a production familia then perhaps a new product, technology, or innovation. Though you don't need to worry about that as all of this will only come when you rise as at least middle-tier familia in here" She patiently explained and produced some piece of registration paper under her desk.

"Is it alright if we not register with our goddess here?" Scanning at the paper, he shifted his gaze back.

"Well, you need to confirm with your goddess the next time you come here though"

"Fair point"

"Then you just need to fill in familia name, goddess name, and the familia specialty, but you don't need to fill in the last part as even some familia were hybrid and do any kind of job."

"And this is for your adventuring form, please fulfill at least your name, you can omit any other if you want."

"A rather lax rules don't you think? Are you not afraid of criminal or bandit disguised and wanted to be an adventurer?"

"Well, we have some cases like that back then but now we have our own method to detect it and adventurers ability is their lifeline so you need at least hide your abilities from others."

"With this all done, do you wanted to purchase the newbie starter kit?"

"Starter kit?" asked the swordsman with a slight confusion on his face.

"Newbie is more than often a teenager or unemployed who can't afford their bread, and equipment is very expensive for them so we guild comes with countermeasures to provide them with equipment at a fixed price even it comes with gradual payment deduced from their daily earning."

"Though, I'm sure you won't need eh?"

"Haha, well we left our equipment at home after all" Chuckled the red-haired swordsman.

"Shirou, Kuro would you go back home, to check on our goddess. I still have some business to do here."

"Eeeh, Not fair I want to stay Archer-nii!!!" she pleaded him with those mystic eyes but it won't work on him who live a fair share of his life as a counter-force.

"C' mon Kuro, I'm sure Illya is bored at home right now"

"Right!!!" She rolled her eyes and then left with Shirou leaving the two alone.

His eyes gleamed like a predator to his prey.

Eep! I'm not ready for this, he may be handsome but I will save my womanhood for the man I love!

"Ah, Eina-san would you tell me about the dungeon more" confused marred his face, ah he must saw the distress on my face.

She blinked her eyes, Just that? Somehow she felt disappointed.

*break*

Sigh, finally I can meet an adventurer with knowledge and common-sense behind their back. Eina thought the red-clad archer who eagerly asked her various question regarding Dungeon nature and it's ecosystem they even moved to the guild library under newbie counseling all the way past afternoon, thanks to that she can escape the paperwork before.

In all her period as a guild receptionist, never she had ever been appreciated for her nagging when it comes to adventurer survivability under her supervision. Most of them would brush her aside until they narrowly evade death inside the dungeon and transferred to another supervisor. But he listened carefully even when she unintentionally venting and nagging at him, instead, he would give some advice regarding her works.

Let it be known, that Archer was a man who already met and grown beside a way more nagging woman.

A lot of people would share the same thought as they see the half-elf smiled fondly at the back of departing man alas no one saw her other than the teasing smile of her pink-haired friend and co-worker.

And I will wrap it all up for this week in here. Thanks for reading.
