Restless pain

Riyku would steadily rise up after setting Seraphina down lightly upon the ground. His red glowing beads shifting around at everything. Though they were not filled with rage, no they were filled with pain, unlimited pain. "Riyku!" Kristen called out as she raced towards him, but she was stopped in place. Riyku had appeared before her in the blink of an eye, his hand firmly grasped around her neck as he rose her off the ground. Slowly the darkness from his hand would begin to infect her flesh as she placed her hands in his wrist. "Kristen!" Vex shouted as she raced towards them.

"Damn it. I knew something was up the moment he released that damn spell. He is no ordinary man. He isn't even a demon. No, he is something far more vicious than that, but what triggered it?" The headmistress would glance over to Seraphina. It was then she realized what happened, "If we hadn't interfered... would everything have been okay? Damn it. I don't know." She muttered to herself. "Everyone, prepare the barrier. We need to keep casualties to a minimum." The headmistress ordered to which everyone would sound off before heading into specific areas around the track and began to chant on sync. Meanwhile, she would approach Riyku and the others who happened to have been trying to get Riyku to release Kristen. "Let her go, please Riyku!" Lira shouted out with determination. "This isn't who you are!" Mina added. "It's okay... Riyku... It's going to be okay..." Kristen would choke out as she reached out for him with a warm smile. "Everything is okay..." She added as the smile brightened and tears slowly began to ride down her cheeks. Steadily it would seem Riyku would loosen his grasp and eventually her feet touched the ground. She would approach him and embrace him tightly.

"Back away!" The Headmistress called out to which Kristen shook her head. "No. He isn't vile. He isn't evil. He is in pain! He is suffering!" Kristen called from the male's chest. As for the group, they all seemed to eventually pitch in and embrace him with Kristen. "You have not lost anything," Skylar stated softly. "We are right here," Mina added. "We are safe." Vex seemed to tune in. "We will always be beside you," Lira added. "No one can separate us from you, Riyku. We are your friends after all. Even if the world decides to reject you. Even if you go to war with the world... We will stand beside you." Kristen added. "Now and forever!" They all exclaimed in sync, the warmth of their voice causing the man to react. Seraphina would open her eyes only to make note of what was going on, a brief smile curved across her lips as her body turned into a dark mist and moved to swirl around the group before seeping into Riyku's being. Steadily the eerie chill in the atmosphere died down and the pitch black of the flesh would begin to erode and shed off of him as it turned into black atomic dust and wisped away into the atmosphere. This left the male to glance over them with light tears running down his cheeks. The headmistress was now baffled by what had happened, but as she came to her senses she began to realize one thing. One key factor in everything that had just happened. "If anything happens to those five..." She closed her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest. "then.. the entire world may come to an end..." She finished as she exhaled a deep breath that she had whelmed up in her chest. It was of relief; since she doubted she could truly do anything against him.

She could feel the immense amount of strength that leaked from the male. This wasn't some Arch-Demon or Arch-Angel, it was the strength that far surpassed that; it rivaled that of a Demon Lord... no, it could have been even stronger. Just realizing how these five stopped him without so much as lifting a single weapon was an astonishing feat to her. "You six, see me in my office. We need to clear up this mess." The headmistress called out to them, then placed a few fingers to her ear. "To everyone on preparing the barrier. There is no longer a need, you may all go on standby for now. As you may be aware the threat has been suppressed." It was then that she got several voices edging at her which caused her to rub the bridge of her nose before seeming to silence the voices as if she had disconnected some kind of ear-piece.

"Don't ever do that again!" Kristen would punch the man lightly before embracing him again. "She's right. Don't ever believe you are alone, that you have lost everything. We may not know of anything of your past lives, but this is the present. This is a new life and a new you." Mina stated softly as her and the rest excluding Kristen had stepped back to give Riyku some space. Wiping his face of the residue from the tears he would release a heavy breath. "I..." He looked sad for a moment. "Thank you." He would smile softly as he nodded lightly. "Hey! Where did that Seraphina girl go?" Lira inquired to which everyone looked to see she had vanished. "Don't worry... She is here." Riyku stated as she pointed to himself. "She is a part of me after all. You could say... she is my darkness." Riyku smiled warmly, for something that sounded so... terrifying he made it seem like something full of warmth. Everyone would take note before sighing lightly. "Alright, that's enough. Follow me." The headmistress would come up behind them. "We need to discuss what just happened and sort several things out." She added with a stern look to which everyone seemed to look at her and nod lightly.

Meanwhile in the Lower District inside a random building happened to be a cloaked figure and two others having a discussion.

"So you failed?" The cloaked figure held a female's voice which was full of disappointment. "What do you mean failed? You never told us anything about that!?" The man would shout out loud as he stepped forward, but his companion so to speak would put his arm out to stop him. "Thank you for your report, I'll hand the rest. Return to your post." The man stated firmly, full of dignity and respect. "Yes, sir!" The other man stated as he left the small shack. "You failed to tell us of anything like that. That immense amount of energy is nothing something my men can stand against. Not even I alone could fight against him without preparing to lose a limb or two. Do you even understand what it is that you trying to anger?" The man inquired to which the cloaked woman growled. "Of course I do!" The woman shouted. "Is that so? Then I shall call our arrangement off. My best sniper and a best friend might I add, was killed by whatever that thing was. He is one of the best when it comes to hiding, but he was found out in an instant and killed without so much as a brief moment to despair." The man stated as he turned away from the woman. "Don't you dare! I will have your head if you walk out on me now!" The woman called out. "Have my head? Ha, like a little bitch like you could do anything. You started out as nothing more than a cum-rag for the alleys until I took you in. Do you think, you can stand against me? You should know how foolish that would be, but I guess the life above has gone to your head. You think you can do anything just because some rich family bought you off me for their own personal gain. Pathetic..." The man would exit the building which left the woman standing alone.

"Scerw all of you. I'll be sure to make you all pay. Every last one of you!" The woman growled beneath her scowl before seeming to pull up her wristband to contact someone. "Contact the Twins..." She stated under her breath before closing out the audio feed after speaking her peace. "Just you wait, Riyku... You will pay for you did to me that day. You and everyone else..." A burst of twisted laughter would spark up from the woman as if she had insane.

Back to Riyku and his group, they were seated at a conference table with the headmistress on one end and Riyku on the other. One one side was the Lira, Vex, Kristen, Skylar, and Mina. Kristen was seated the closest to Riyku while it seemed Skylar was furthest with the others in-between. On the other side happened to the faculty staff which included Riyku's homeroom teacher, standing beside the headmistress was Myu which seemed to have daggers glared at her from Riyku's friends.

"Alright, now that we are all here. I must address something. Riyku Von Rosario is not human. Of course, by now that should not be a surprise. As such... We will keep this information on lockdown." These set of words caused many people to looked surprised. "I beg your pardon!?" One of the staff slammed on the table. "He is clearly a demon! What do you mean we should hide his identity!? Are you even sane!?" That staff member stated firmly. Several other staff members agreed some remained silent. It was Riyku's friends who seemed to disagree. "Demon!? So while everyone poked and prodded him yet he remained far from lethal, while his friend was nearly raped and another killed, and while he protected them from such. You would guys wanna call him a Demon? Even though there are far more inhumane people in this school!?" Kristen rose up with anger in her voice. "That is different!" One of the staff members retorted. "Different? Oh, it's okay for someone to be raped and murdered, but not for someone who we don't even know is a demon to be labeled as one!? What kind of bullshit--" Kristen was silenced when the headmistress slammed her hand on the table to call order.

"While Kristen does make a good point, we should also ask the man himself. Will you indulge us?" The headmistress looked as if she was demanding and not asking. Everyone turned their attention to Riyku who just sighed heavily. "For anything, I am about to tell you to make sense. I need to start from the beginning. Would be fine with you all?" Riyku inquired as he folded his arms across his chest. "Of course." The headmistress seemed to have spoken for everyone to which Riyku nodded.

"I am not from here. I was not born here. In fact, I was reincarnated from another place, or more so I should say life. For what reason or purpose? That is beyond me. You see when I was reincarnated; My body was built from the ground up. While I do host the leveling system you all have, mine is far more advanced. I can level up from a multitude of things. I was even given a 'system' to which I know nothing of, to be honest. However, what I do know is that this system is what brought me back to life, it is what aids me in leveling and it even allows me to do things like this..." The male would flick his wrist which caused a cybernetic screen to appear before everyone. "Enlarge." The male commanded as the screen became large for all to see; of course, everyone was awestruck by what just happened to behind with.

"Level N-Ninety-two? Are you kidding me!?" One of the staff called out, everyone was even more surprised than they already were. Even the headmistress was a tad bit surprised. "As you can see, my entire stats are displayed here. If I do this.." He would bring up the column of tabs that had several labels to them. "I can navigate to different areas of my system." He would dismiss the column and close his eyes with a heavy sigh. "What madness is this!?" The same staff member from before called out. "He isn't some measly demon. He is a God at this point! A God of Destruction!" The same staff member shouted with fear in his voice. "Destruction my ass! Riyku has not destroyed anything. If anyone has done any destruction, it would be the other students!" Kristen shouted. Things were starting to get heated as one group glared down the other. "If I may." Myu would perk in which caused everyone's attention to flow towards her. "I have been getting word from several shops in the shopping district that Riyku has been offering them help with menial tasks. Even going out of his way to do it for them free of charge. If you ask me, that does not sound like someone who causes destruction, now does it?" Myu's words seemed to cause the five to smile warmly at her and even the headmistress smirked lightly with a soft nod. "Indeed, it does not. Are you happy now, Brad?" Indeed.. this staff member who was trying to cause Riyku harm was none other than the infamous Brad. The same man who was tormenting Racheal. For now, the man backed down, "Continue." The headmistress added to which Riyku nodded.

"As you can see. My level is abnormal compared to others. I was surprised at first to find out that the highest level person my age is Kristen. Nonetheless, you can also see for yourself that my age is unknown. If you ask me why that is or how old I am, I can not give you a firm answer. To say I do not know would be an excuse, but the truth is from what I do know, I come from both future and past in all walks of my lives." Riyku stated which caused everyone to appear more surprised than before. "Lives? So how many times have you been reincarnated?" The headmistress asked while everyone kept silent. It would seem that she would be the one mainly asking the questions from here on out.

Riyku would shrug. "I could not say. I mean I can ask someone who knows more than I do." Riyku stated firmly to which the headmistress gave a raised brow to him. "Who?" She inquired. "You've already been acquainted with her. Seraphina." Everyone began to shiver for a moment in fear; having known just how strong this woman was, but regardless of their feelings the woman seemed to just 'pop' into view. Her body straddling Riyku as if she were going to ride him, "You called darling?" She cooed at him, her body naked as ever. Kristen would growl and push from her seat to stomp towards them and bring them apart which caused Seraphina to blink rapidly. "Excuse me, but who are you?" Seraphina inquired as she held firmly onto Riyku while glaring at Kristen. "I am..." Kristen stumbled over the words as she looked to Riyku for an answer who sighed heavily. "Seraphina, can you answer their questions. You seem to have more knowledge about my past than I do." Riyku would ignore this little fight over him and return to the important task at hand. Kristen would cling to the male's arm and Seraphina would growl at her before turning to look at the people while sitting in Riyku's lap. Her breast was bare before them all, to which some of the men were leering over.

"I guess. I was already listening in, so listen up. Riyku has been reborn a total of eight times. Do not mistake the seven other lives as short though. The first life may have been, but what followed after was long and unforgiving. Each life after his first death was cruel towards him. He suffered more times than you can even imagine. Lost many, friends, family, loved ones this including his own children. In addition to that, he was often betrayed as well by those he trusted deeply. I am telling you all this because you all seem to have one mistake about him." Seraphina stated firmly as she turned back to Riyku to cup his chin softly, giving her a lover's glance. "He is beautiful. He has overcome much in his time. Of course, he has fallen many times, but only to rise up on his own without anyone's help. You can say it is sad, but no one was ever there to help him. That was until I came along, there are others as well. Ones you might call family." She seemed to direct that last phrase towards him which caused his eyes to widen. "Family?" He seemed to muse lightly.

Seraphina would nod softly before placing a peck on his cheek. "You will remember. It is better if you remember them, they are with you after all. Each of them is waiting for you to call them with your soul just as I was." Seraphina would whisper solely to him before turning towards everyone and wiggle her fingers as if saying 'bye' and then she went 'poof' into a black cloud that dissipated into the air. Kristen, including everyone else, was awestruck. "Eight times? Eight lives in total?" The headmistress questioned softly. "That is something... It explains quite a bit as well. If you were reborn over and over again, then maybe these stats came from your previous life." She added to which Riyku nodded. "That is what I figured from the start, but as for why is beyond me. All I can recall is that I lost a battle against something or someone... and then I was reborn right afterward." Riyku seemed to intentionally leave out the fact that he could remember his past through his dreams.

"Amnesia..." Kristen and Lira whispered softly in sync. "So you weren't lying..." Kristen added to which Riyku shook his head. "No. I wasn't. Though, I am sure you can understand why I would not want to bring this to anyone's attention. It is abnormal for people of this world to have a system of my kind." Riyku stated to which everyone seemed silent for the moment. "What of these Shield, Mana and Energy points, as well as this form duration bar. What do they mean?" The headmistress inquired.

"Shield points refer to an exo-shield that will absorb any damage that collides with my body. Of course, it is not almighty, anything that is piercing will go through and break the shield." He experienced that one first hand. The girls and Skylar seemed to recall seeing the bullet wounds, but would not mention it. "As for the mana points, they determine how many times I can use skills and abilities. Sort of like how you all chant to use spells. I can skip over that and use my mana points. Although, once I run out that is it. I can not any skills or abilities." Riyku would explain to which everyone would listen in on, even if they did not fully understand it.

"Energy explains itself. It is my fatigue. The lower it becomes the more tired I become and once it hits zero. I will pass out. However, if it is full I am as energetic as an athlete." Riyku stated firmly to which Kristen blushed lightly recalling their steamy times together. Of course, some of the girls took note of the blush but were slightly confused so they did not say anything.

"As for Form Duration, It is the length of time of which I can spend in any form." He purposely left out the fact that some forms had their own time limits. "Well, can you explain why your status is full and the duration is knocked down by thirty minutes?" The headmistress asked to which Riyku would nod. "Seraphina healed me to a full and I engaged my form for the duration of thirty minutes." Of course, that wasn't fully true. Whenever Riyku would engage in a form his Shield points, Mana and Energy would all shoot back up to full and increase based on the form of choice. He figured that out when he played with the Rage form a few times before.

"I see. Well, that does tell us a lot about you. That and this Seraphina seems to have explained much as well as express great care for you. While I do not know anything about your family. I can tell from just today that those close to you are quite precious to you." The headmistress was talking about how the girls and Skylar seemed to have quelled whatever negative emotion Riyku was overcome with which caused them to blush and shy away. "They are precious to me. So much so that I would give my life to keep them safe." Riyku confirmed the headmistress statement which caused everyone to appear more shocked than not.

"Well, this about does it. I can safely say that Riyku is not a demon. Even if the AB blood type is a lie and he does have black blood running through his veins, he is not even the slightest one of those vile creatures. So I hereby declare that Riyku is to be labeled as a human and addressed as such from here on out. If any of you have an objection may you speak now." The headmistress stated; and everyone on the staff side began to chatter about while Myu, the girls, and Skylar all remained silent with their resolve shown. "We will no longer call him a de--" The staff were all silenced when Brad interrupted them. "Fuck that! He is a demon! No other way to put it! You all saw it! Felt it! It was the diabolic pressure of someone who rules over all demons!" He shouted out to which the other staff members would sigh heavily. "If I may..." Riyku would speak out which caught the headmistress attention. "I believe Brad is merely speaking for his own personal gain. You see, I have a friend who works in the office with him." Brad would grind his teeth and ball his fist while he glared at him.

"This man has been sexually harassing her to no need. Not only that he has turned her own co-workers against her. The other day she called me crying her eyes out. Wishing she could do something, but nothing could be done." Riyku stated to which Brad would push from his seat and approach Riyku hastily. Riyku shifted his eyes at the man with the intention to kill, and that glare alone caused him to shiver back in fear. "Tom, Daves! Stop this man and remove him at once. Keep him locked up in the interrogation chamber. I will be removing any memory he has of this incident." The headmistress stated firmly as two men came from the door and restrained Brad. Only to cuff him and carry him off to where the headmistress asked them to take him. "If I might ask, who is this person." The headmistress inquired to which Riyku nodded lightly

"Her name is Racheal. She is an office guide for the University and does a damn good job if I do say so myself. But, that opinion is my opinion." Riyku stated to which the headmistress nodded. "I'll be sure to address this matter as soon as we are finished. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, and do not worry about Brad or any of the others. I'll take care of them as well." She stated firmly to which Riyku nodded. "Thank you." He added. "Now, if there is nothing else. Then the matter is settled. Everyone here agrees that this matter remains silenced and everyone is to understand that Riyku is one of us." Everyone would nod in unison. "Good, Dismissed! Myu, I will need you to write a fake report. Stating that a wild monster appeared and those six handled it." The headmistress stated as everyone stood up. Myu would nod happily, "Of course. Riyku and his friends responded to the appearance of a monster and eliminated the threat with haste; however, what of those who were at the scene?" Myu inquired to which everyone looked at the headmistress, well everyone except the staff, they had already left.

"I already took care of it. I used illusion magic to reformat their memory. Everyone there will believe that a monster interrupted their battle and they all fled. Of course, this applies to the 'Live' feed that was being broadcast. I highjacked it and reformatted it to tailor to the illusion I implanted. So, everyone watching will have the same story to talk about for days to come. With your article, I am sure there will be positive feedback on them as well. Do not let me down now, Myu." She stated firmly. "Yes, Ma'am!" Myu would exclaim for rushing out of the building. Everyone else seemed to have followed, that was until Kristen was stopped by the headmistress.

"Hold a moment, Kristen." The woman called to her and Kristen looked back at her. "Ma'am?" "There is something I want you to know. You seem the closest one to Riyku of the bunch. So pass this on to everyone. I didn't want Riyku to know, because he may distance himself from you all. While you stopped whatever process he was going into, you made one thing clear. You are his greatest strength, but you are also his greatest weakness. If harm should come to any of you five... It may very well be the end of all life." Though when Kristen heard this she wasn't surprised. "I know. In fact, we all know. Which is why we will protect him. We will never fall and we will never cause any harm to him. You have my word." Kristen stated firmly, the resolve showed in her eyes to which the headmistress nodded. "Thank you." She whispered as Kristen seemed to hurry after her friends.

"Well, that was boring." Seraphina's voice came out of nowhere as she seemed to float around Riyku while holding onto his back. "Hey!" Kristen shouted. "Get off of him!" She added to which Seraphina stuck her tongue at out her. "I already know what you two did. It just took a bit to remember it." Seraphina stated bluntly which caused everyone to look at Kristen except Riyku of course. "You did what!?" They all shouted in sync to which Kristen sighed away. "It.. it was.. a heat of the moment thing.. and well it felt good.. and I wanted to know him more.. and... and.." She became flustered to which Riyku sighed heavily. "She became addicted after I had sex with her. If anyone it would be my fault. Happy now?" He questioned to which the girls seemed to pout. "You had sex with Kristen, but when I want it you push me away!" Seraphina whined to which Riyku sighed again. "Do you want to do it now then?" He inquired as to if he were being serious. "Really!?" She gleefully asked to which Kristen shouted, "No! He is mine!" Kristen would wrap her arm around his to which Seraphina looked down at her with a glare. "Is it true you had sex with Kristen, Riyku?" Mina looked up at him with teary eyes to which the male sighed heavily. "Yes, but do not get it twisted. I do not love her. She is the one who is in love with me. You are all equally precious to me, understand?" Riyku seemed firm in his statement. "So then, you will have sex with us to if we asked?" Vex came forward with the question to which Riyku seemed a bit shocked by, but not the question more so how all the girls including Seraphina who wanted answers.

"Geez, are you trying to build a harem?" Skylar inquired teasingly. "No, I am not," Riyku replied to them before looking at the girls. "Ugh, fine. Yes, I will have sex with you if you ask me. Including you Seraphina. Now can we go somewhere, I am quite tired." Riyku stated to which each of them giggled happily at each other as if they had some secret meeting about this beforehand. "Just remember, I am his First and Main wife; the rest of you are his Mistress'." Seraphina stated firmly as she snuggled into him. Everyone except, Kristen seemed to be perfectly fine with it. "Hell no! You came out of nowhere! Well, I mean you were here first, but not in this lifetime! I am his main!" The arguing between Kristen and Seraphina seemed to go the entire time even after they left the hallway. Riyku would sigh heavily, realizing what he had just got himself into and knew full well that this would become a handful.

"By the way... Seraphina you have the appearance of a demon. Can you change it up so you can blend in?" Mina inquired to which Seraphina nodded. "I can." And with that, her horns, wings and spaded tail would well disappear in a sense, and the darkness would swirl around her body to form into the school uniform. Although she seemed to stay afloat in the position she was him which was wrapping her arms around Riyku's neck from behind. "Wow, that's pretty cool. I wish I could do that. I could wear anything I ever wanted." Lira stated softly to which Seraphina blinked. "I mean you can. Well, you can as long as you have Riyku do it. He can do it too; after all, all of my power is originally his." The girls would look at Riyku suddenly who shook his head. "Don't know how. As I said, Seraphina knows more about me than I do of myself." Riyku stated to which Seraphina sighed and rested her chin upon his head. "Speaking of which, what happened during that process? Normally, everyone goes with you; but we were all separated and scattered. Of course, we all found a draw point and converged together around a single memory; but nothing happened. You were amiss." Seraphina stated to which Riyku's brow rose. "I don't know. Coco could probably answer that one, but she is silenced. She was locked up by some entity I know nothing of. Saying that she is my limiter and if she was unleashed I would be unable to control my own power." Riyku replied to which everyone seemed generally confused. "Oh, Coco is my operator. She is the one that has been helping me from day one with figuring out this system and what not. It was about three months that she went MIA and I recently found her today along with what had happened to her." Riyku explained to which everyone tried their best to understand.

"Well, we should try to get her back. She may be able to help you reunite with the rest of our family." Seraphina stated with some sorrow as if she had missed them dearly. "I will get them back." Kristen seemed to state which caused Seraphina to look in her direction. "Yup, we are Riyku's friends after all. If his family is in danger, then we will help out as best we can." Vex would add and everyone seemed to agree. Seraphina smiled brightly and whispered something to Riyku's ear which caused him to blush softly. "Hey!" Kristen shouted noting this, but Seraphina would only smile brightly at them. "Thank you! Thank you all for looking out for him when he had no one else." She genuinely seemed happy and grateful for everything, to which they all smiled at her. "It is our pleasure," Kristen stated as if speaking for the rest of them. "Let's go grab a few drinks. After which I believe we should all stay at Mina's place." Kristen would suggest to which everyone seemed to nod. "I don't mind. We haven't had another sleepover in a while. It will be fun." The group seemed to head off for the remainder of the night, conversing and having a great time. Instead of going to some bar, they decided to just go straight to Mina's place where they would play various fun games and enjoy several drinks into the evening.
