Mountain top

Time did pass quite fast. After leaving the Holy land of druids the sins were on their way. With the shocking discovery of Howzer, Gilthunder, Meliodas and Jax's strength Hawk questioned if they even needed Escanor.

Jax lightly laughed at this comment after all Escanor is strong enough to take on any commandment. Right now Jax could defeat him if he used all of his cards but it was no explanation to say Escanor was one of the strongest humans to ever live. Inheriting the power of the sun from the strongest archangel.

Many things happened after this Jax however kept traveling with the sins in hopes of the empty spot in his heart to fil. The only things he craved for where battles in that moment he could let himself go. It doesn't matter if the fight was justified or not.

In two other areas, things happened like they were planned to. Elaine had regained her life back and Escanor had his fight against Galand. Like this, the two were on their way back to the group intending to meet up with them for the fight against the commandments.

Back in the boar hat, it was time to go towards Vaizel where a tournament was about to happen. If one won the tournament they could wish whatever they wished for. A tournament where everyone knew that commandments would be present.

Like this, the group was planning to leave. With his head down just ready to follow along with whatever they wanted to do Jax was pulled back. With a strong force, he was no longer with the group who was leaving. When he saw who pulled him he was surprised "Rose why did you do that." It was apparent that Rose was mad about something and everything became clear when she spoke, "Jax you are not going to that festival."

She declared and it seemed as if talking against her would turn out bad. Thus Jax only asked her why and then she explained in her soft beautiful voice how he had been down. It was true since the death of Luciv he didn't know how to act. "I don't want to see you destroy yourself slowly" Rose spoke with a hint of sadness.

"I won't be destroyed" Jax argued back to her but as soon as he did he got million of reasons how he was destroying himself. The aggressive behavior, the mood swings, the not thinking part. Like that Jax realized how wrong he had been about everything.

So he asked what they would be doing instead. And as soon as he said that a smile bloomed on the face of the beautiful woman.

"We will be going to the most beautiful mountain. Since I have something to speak to you about."

The duo went up towards the group that they would previously join and told them they would come at a later time.

Like that the duo left towards the mountain that Rose called the most beautiful. It wasn't a long journey at all and also not an unfamiliar mountain. Next to this mountain laid the volcano where Rose regained her real form. Both were making their way up towards the peak of the mountain.

And when they finally got there a beautiful sight is what they saw. The eagles soaring through the sky the clouds that were just above them and when they looked down it was as if they saw the whole world. Green, brown, blue all types of colors could be seen even the red from the volcano.

And that's when the most beautiful red hair turned towards the handsome young man.

"Jax I know you have been through a lot but its time to stop mourning. Luciv died happily and if I'm honest he died honorably."

"But how can I forgive myself for not saving him?"Jax spoke since the day his master died he had been in a two-way fight with himself. At one side he wanted to move on and live happily like his master would have wanted.

But the other side blamed him for the inability to save his master. It was a constant battle between the two. His emotions were mixed up and most of the day he didn't know how he should act. The only time he felt truly alive was when he was in a battle where he could forget everything. Each dark thought was pushed back even if only for a second. "Why did you have to save him?

Jax, you are not some godly being that can save anyone. You are not someone that will not be hurt or not experience pain. You are a demon yes but even the strongest gods will be hurt. Just accept that what happened wasn't your fault. Maybe if one needs to be blamed it is me, after all, I was captured and you came to save me" Rose spoke.

Jax looked down if he was honest he was quite an unrealistic maybe it was part of his personality. He would want to save anyone to not be hurt. To let everyone around him experience life without any difficulty. But could that be called life? It was more like a fairytale life is something complicated. You grow in difficult times and you become a better person in the difficult times.

He had been delusional to think his family and friends would never experience hurt. With a gaze that seemed to say he had got the message, he looked back towards Rose. And only two words left his mouth, "Thank you."

Rose smiled seeing that he had got the message,

"and now unto the real reason why I called you here"
