16 Death

The winds of time stop for no one. 2 years had passed since Jax had been in the forest and where he met his master, Luciv. These 2 years where not the most interesting of his life he has just been slowly training himself. Achieving a total power of 900 yet he knew he could fight higher opponents.

His Flying Thunder God had also finally leveled up to level 2. This made its range expand to 25 meters.

Jax didn't train with his scythe at all the feeling that it wasn't the right time was present in his body.

His friendship with Gilthunder and Howzer was the most notable thing in his life. Before they were close but in these 2 years, they had become as close as real brothers. In turn, Jax's relationship with Zaratras began. One that Jax didnt want at first. But the man kept on talking to Jax and eventually Jax accepted the friendship. But fate was a cruel thing. Jax knew of the mans fate to be killed by his best friend and own brother.

Stripped away from life for stupid reasons. Not being able to see his son grow up into a holy knight. Jax wished that fate would have changed. Yet the day came.

A group of people could be seen walking these were of course the sins. They were on their way to the Great holy knight Zaratras. The mood was good joking on their way to his room. But when they opened the door this all changed. They looked inside and a cruel sight was present.

Zaratras the Great Holy Knight of Lionnes was killed. Spears through his body. Before the Sins had time to see who did it they heard a commotion. What they saw was the whole area filled with Holy Knights.

Their first thought wasn't that they were framed but what about Jax?

Right now Jax was still in the palace just doing some light training. He felt there was something wrong today so he trained to let his mind rest. Yet the feeling was still there.

Merlin was gone from the group she immediatly teleporwere to Jax. "Her motherly feelings are acting up I guess" Ban said while smiling. "They indeed are" King said. "Well we all think the same as long as Jax is safe its good" Dianne said with a smile. "But leaving without any words so troublesome" Meliodas jokingly complained.

A minute later Merlin appeared in front of Jax, "there is no time to explain everything. Its about Zaratras." Jax felt his body tremble. He was strong mentally but knowing someone died that he loved. Was something he just couldn't handle. Merlin spoke up again the hurry present in het voice. "Im going to teleport you away of here do you have a place you want to be sent to Jax."

Merlin asked clearly worried about the boy. "Send me to the forest i trained in 2 years ago" Jax answered with a calm voice. But then his voice started to shake, "is he" before Jax could finish his sentece Merlin responded, "yes Zaratras is dead" "i see" Jax said.

And then the next instant he was gone send away to the forest. To meet his master once again. The next moment Jax was back in a all to familiar place.

It was the same place of the forest where he fought his first life and death battle. The confident Jax from 2 years ago was no more. Right now the boy stood there with tears in his eyes. The bond he had with Zaratras was hard to explain it was a mix between a big brother and a friendship.

Even if the man was Gilthunders father he didn't treat Jax like a little kid. He was an easy going man a holy knight of justice that only wished the best for the Kingdom. And he would gladly give his life if that would mean peace. "Why do such people deserve this fate" a sad voice screamed. A second later firm footsteps could be heard untill the ancient voice was there. "what happened Jax" when Jax looked up he saw his master once again. These 2 years didnt change him at all.

Relief washed over Jax's body to finally see this man again. Jax walked up to him and decided to hug Luciv while tears were present, "master why is it that the people that deserve the most get the least."

This was something Jax had thought about there were so many good people that he knew yet they didnt get what they deserved. "I cant answer this question my dear disciple" Luciv had asked this question himself too many times but he didnt know the answer to it.

"I just like to believe that for those people something better was reserved. This world is not the best to live in so let's hope they got something they deserved." After a long silence Luciv spoke up, "Jax the only thing we can do now is to train. Get stronger and stronger so no God or Demon could ever defy your command and maybe one day you can reunite with the dead."

Luciv said while a slight smile was present.

"Reunite with the people that i loved. Thats a good goal for now master" the sad Jax was no more right now determined boy stood in its place.

A dove could be seen flying in the blue sky Luciv looked up and whispered, "an omen of love i guess Jax's love truly is the most impressive"

Luciv looked over to the boy and spoke up, "lets go to our training space"

Note: A goal has been set. But who would he eventually like to meet? I didn't meet the chapters that I promised this week and only delivered 2 chapters. I'm very sorry for that and next week there will be at least 4 chapters.
