I would eat everything, so much so, that I was deemed a criminal by Lucifer himself. I went on the run for a while, eventually being captured…

Well, anyways, Lucifer made me one of his many servants. I was in charge of watching the grounds at night by candle.

What did I do with trespassers? Well, I ate them of course!

It was really the only thing I was allowed to eat… After a while, my diet of fear, sweat, and blood made me want to vomit.

You know what that bastard said to me when I told him this?

"Ara, so my little darling has finally gained some taste buds?"

So rude my master! I can taste just fine. This one just doesn't like being picky!

I guess I made a face at this, because master laughs a bit and says "I'll find something for you to do, ok?"

So absent minded my master! Are you really a fallen angel?!

Kinoko was scolded by the police officer until Lucifer came and picked her up. In the human world, Lucifer is known as Lucius Gennam. He is a fairly successful author, who adopted Kinoko when she was a child.

"What was I supposed to think?" Kinoko mumbled.

She was understandably very upset. Her brown cheeks were puffed out, reminding Lucifer slightly of a squirrel. He looked at her blood red hair. It was so long it was beginning to curl at her chest. She needs a haircut soon.

"Well yes," he said, "I know I wasn't quite clear..."

"You're never clear master!"

Kinoko's cheeks somehow got even bigger after her outburst.

Lucifer led the girl to their car, gently listening to her as they drove home. She mumbled things like: "So, disrespectful!" and "Unbelievable!" over and over.

Lucifer smiled. She's too cute…

Lucifer remembered when they first met. Back then Kinoko's form was that of a giant slug with hundreds of mouths. The many mouthed creature was black skinned, with hand-like appendages that would grab anything around it, stuffing its many mouths. It was quite disgusting, as many of the weaker demons of hell were all those millennia ago. But Kinoko was strong, even back then, as Lucifer himself had to cut the monstrous slug down. He peeled the damned thing like an onion… and a girl popped out.

"Kinoko's finally growing up, huh?" Lucifer sniffled, he felt tears in his eyes.

"Eh? Master is sad?" Kinoko's steam had fizzled out a while ago, her attention now on the passing highway scenery.

"Ah- no. Not sad. I'm happy you've changed so much. It's like you're a different person! I remember whenever you'd get frustrated like this... you would just eat!"

Lucifer saw her look away embarrassed. Kinoko pressed her forehead against the window.

"I am a bit hungry Master…" she mumbled.丽丽
