2 A GLIMPSE OF SECOND CHANCE

In Qin Manor every attendants are very busy attending the sick maiden lying in the bed. She have the face that can make everyone look at her direction a face that is carved like a fine jade with exquisite details, sitting beside the bed is a man that looks rugged because of his duty, General Qin Yu. He looked vey stressed and sadly utter "Xian'er" looking very gloomy.

He jolted awake when the door openend by the physician attending his daughter.

"General Qin, I'm sorry to say this but your daughter, I...I.. can't..." while looking ate the sorry state of the General.

General Qin remained stoic yet gloomy, " You may go". General Qin went back in his daughter's side hold her hand with tears in his eyes, "Xian'er, don't give up, Papa is still here waiting, don't leave Papa my love. I'll do anything just wake up". The servants in the room can"t help but shed tears as they witness the stoic general in tears begging his daughter to fight, to live.

A week has passed still his daughter shows no sign of waking up. The general always stay at his daughter's side even neglecting his health hoping that she will wake up soon.

One night while General Qin is eating his dinner a servant suddenly barge into the dinning "Master! young mistress is awake!"

General Qin wasted no time and got to his daughter's side in a blink. "Xian'er! Xian'er!" he said while catching his breath while holding his daughter's hand.

With anticipation his hands trembled as the maiden's eyes flutter open like a butterfly wings.

Qin Xian's eyes slowly flutter open and adjust to the sudden light that assulted her sight "Water", the servant abruptly give water to her young mistress. Qin Xian then notice the big figure on her side holding her hands tightly with tears in his eyes and hold her face with his trembling hands "Xian'er, thank you for not leaving papa" then she passed out again because of a sudden headache that assulted her.
