1 Beginning

In the year 2000, A drastic change took place on earth that impacted the lives of all humans and animals that inhabited the Earth.

Giant towers appeared put of thin air, That completely overshadowed our tallest buildings.

All of the countries sent their forces to check out the massive constructs however they all were teleported into the tower where they had to fight against various monsters that came straight out of our fantasies.

Simultaneously all of the people on the Earth recieved a system that connected all of us together, From china to USA everyone started to team up to face these monsters.

That wasn't all even animals gained the system and became enlightened with knowledge transforming into beastmen.

The giant towers although brought dangers it also brought opportunities with it, The opportunity to become stronger than a god.

[* Anyone that conquers the 1000 floors of the tower will gain immortality and knowledge of the gods *]

Was the first message that we ever recieved from the tower.

And here I am, At the beginning of the path that lead to godhood, The first level of the tower *The tutorial*

*3rd person POV*

Currently several hundred people were gathered together in a massive place that looked like a forest, The place didn't have an exit or am entrance.

Rather they all were teleported here into the first level of the tower.

"I knew that I was going to be teleported but still this is unbelievable" Said a man as he moved his hands all over his body trying to check his condition.

"Well you better believe it since even more surprising things are going to come soon" Replied a calm lady who was standing beside the man.

Similar conversations were taking place all over the crowd but one thing was common in all of them, Nervousness.

Being in a completely new environment where suddenly something that shouldn't exist became possible was very unpleasant.

But they all knew this was the only way they could survive now, The world outside the towers was in chaos. Normal office jobs were no longer active and all occupations became meaningless.

Everyone started to focus on their survival and turned on each other, As the humans killed each other Monsters also joined the fight and almost the entire world was overthrown.

Fortunately all of the government managed to use their brains and they all United to form a single country which fought against the monsters.

That way Utopia was born a country that housed all kinds of species from humans to beast Humans like Tiger-Men Centaurs etc.

Even in the tower the situation was the same out of the several hundred people there were many kinds of species.

Among the crowd stood a young man, He was 5'9" with a rather lean build. He had long black hair which complimented his fair complexion.

He was Jack, A 16 year old that came to the tower to survive. He was an orphan and didn't have any connections back in the outside world.

A human with no connections at the time of disaster is just a lamb waiting to be butchered, He knew his situation and also the solution.

In order to save himself he entered the tower and now he stood at the centre of the crowd with his body trembling.

"Don't worry man it's going to be alright" A bystander couldn't stop himself from ignoring the young boy who was trembling.

He patted his back and walked forward to see his face, Only to find the boy grinning from ear to ear.

"Haha don't worry I am just too excited" Said the boy while staring at the man with his red eyes that gave him a scary look.

[Author - So basically he is a psychopath]

"Man stop disrespecting me"

"Then continue narrating"

Anyways as the psychopathic boy said that the man that had come felt sweat drop from his forehead looking at the lunatic.

But before he could say or do anything a panel popped up in front of their eyes with several options in front of them.

*Jack POV*

Finally! Time for me to shine! I the great jack looked at the screen that had several abilities that we could choose from.

[Fire ball] (F rank)

[Small barrier] (F rank)

[Poison breath] (F rank)

..

All of the options in front of me were pretty basic and didn't look versatile, If I chose [Fire ball] it would only benefit me in long range combat.

Meanwhile [Poison breath] will only work if the target is sleeping or immobile, Since any normal monster would just run out of the range of my breath.

I just kept on scrolling until I found something that matched my standards.

Then I found something,

[Earth Whip] (F rank)

- A technique that creates a whip from stone/rock/soil and user can manipulate it any way they want.

Now this was something useful, A whip made of stone would definitely pack a punch and the fact that I could manipulate it any way I want meant that I didn't need any experience to use it.

[* Every participant has chosen their abilities! The protection barrier will be cancelled *]

[* let's begin the first round *]

[* Everyone must collect at least a 1000 points by the end of the timer (3 days) *]

[* Each F rank monster gives 50 points *]

After the quick announcement the barrier that was like a seethrough glass covering the entire area shattered and disappeared and everyone started to disperse.

So did i, There was one thing that made it extremely easy and extremely difficult to climb the tower.

The system was fair and gave everyone the rewards based on their efforts making it very easy and simple to understand however no matter what every being after accomplishing something feels contempt.

It was exactly the feeling of contempt which made climbing the tower extremely difficult.

"Hey system what is the best way to gather a bunch of the monsters?" I asked to the system whole walking casually in the forest with my hands behind my head.

[* You can gather many by killing one of them and spreading its intestinal juice in the area *]

[* However it would be very risky since you are a beginner hunter *]

"What? Are you worried about me?" I teased with a tint of curiosity in my eyes.

[* ... *]

"Man you are so boring" I said with a bored face and closed the system panel.

Instead i closed my eyes and started to focus on my mana that resided in my veins and started to focus it near my arm.

[Earth Whip]

The soil below me floated up towards my hand and joined together to form the exact shape that I had imagined turning into a whip.

"Hoh this is sickkk!" I said with excitement looking at the whip which was previously just a pile of rock.

"Let's see what I can do with it" I started to focus and imagined my whip moving like a snake, Immediately my whip also did the exact movement.

Then I made it wrap around a tree branch and made it move upwards, Although it couldn't not pull all of my weight. With a bit of my help I could easily climb the tree with no efforts.
