Is That Really A Goblin???

As Erebus saw a statue of the Goblin King, a statue the goblins praise when they pass and sometimes leave offerings for their King, but also a landmark signifying the Hunters of the dangers that lay beyond the statue. Erebus saw it as hope of him getting closer to his sword. Erebus enthusiastic that there was not a single goblin around praising the statue. He starts to loosen up as it was the final stretch to where his sword lays.

As Erebus runs past a corner, he spots it. The giant goblin, a goblin of that size has never been reported to be seen in the dungeons once, but its too late to worry about that since he let his guard down he now stands face to face with this "goblin". Erebus is stunned for a moment as he saw that this "goblin" his holding his sword. This "goblin" wasn't just holding his sword though, This "goblin" was also holding what looked like hands of humans and other goblins. Erebus knowing that he is close to the statue of The Goblin King he realizes that those hands were probably offerings for the Goblin King.

The "goblin" then drops all the hands and holds the sword at a ready. Erebus jumps back and grips his old rusted knife tighter, For he knew that this fight could end up being his last if he isn't quick, fast, and decisive in his moves.

The "goblin" lunges forwards trying to stab Erebus. Erebus barely dodging the sword, Erebus at the same time tries to cut the "goblins" arm, but the knife doesn't cut as deep as it did to the other goblins. Instead it only left a tiny slice it the arm, which affected the "goblin" and how tight he gripped the sword, but not enough to make him drop the sword. The battle continues getting more intense. Erebus got hit by the sword on his leg. Making his speed slow down. In exchange he got a deep stab on the "goblins" shoulder.

The battle lasted for 48 minutes and 26 seconds. With lots of attacks from both the "goblin" and Erebus. Erebus has lots of cuts and puncture wounds, the battle definitely couldn't be said as an overwhelming victory for Erebus, but instead Erebus only won due to the "goblin" collapsing from blood lose and over-exhaustion. As Erebus was close to doing the same thing he was in no place to celebrate this win.

Erebus then goes to dig out the crystal out of the "goblin" and notices that the crystal in this "goblin" is not the same as the other goblins as this crystal was larger in size and had a darker color to it. That wasn't the only thing weird thing that happened though. As the "goblin" started to glow very brightly, the glowing light then began to consolidate in one big orb. Erebus thought that this orb was going to explode so he grabbed the sword and backed up.

The orb then fastly moved into Erebus's chest. With no knowledge of what the "goblin" was Erebus thought that this might be a normal thing to happen when you kill such a goblin, but he would soon find out that its not normal.
