2 Chapter 2 Waiting Isn't So Bad Earthquake/Kids???

Anthony watched as the earth elemental roamed around his core room it seemed to have decided the core room was his. The earth elemental made waiting easy as the antics it got up to with the mice. The mice seemed to enjoy sitting on the earth elemental as it roamed around it was all very cute. Anthony decided that instead of lengthening the dungeon core room first he made slow increases to the length between each barrel cactus. Anthony succeeded easily enough he also added small inclines with steep slopes he filled these dips in his dungeon with water. Anthony had also filled the dungeon with sand the cacti seemed to greatly appreciate it as they grew greener. After all these changes the dungeon had grown from 56 meters to 112 meters. These were all the changes he made over the past three days.

Anthony's earth elementals number had grew fron one to three all of them seemed to love marching around his core. Anthony checked his dp which had grown from 150 to 225 tomorrow he'd have enough for the ice elemental spawn point he was honestly looking forward to it. Anthony was watching his daily episode of mouse gundam basically mice crashing the piloted elementals into each other truly a battle of epic proportions. The dungeon started shaking all the earth elementals and mice quickly gathered under me it seems my creatures also felt fear. Anthony waited thinking the earthquake shouldn't last long but it did it lasted about fifteen agonizing minutes and I say agonizing cause my bowl thing swung around almost the entire time I swear if i had a body i'd have puked all over the damn place.

When the earthquake finally ended he could hear panicking noise's from outside the dungeon some of which sounded like children. Anthony had already figured out he was in the basement of some kind of building he still didn't know what kind though. Honestly Anthony was really interested in what kind of building he was in but the longer he remained undetected the better. The weird thing was the panicking noise's didn't stop even a while after the earthquake Anthony planned to ignore it until he heard a door open. Anthony's alertness was quickly passed along to his mice and elementals the mice ran into thier burrow. The earth elementals set themselves up by climbing on top of each other to the right of the entrance to his core room they looked surprisingly natural but Anthony could sense them gathering mana.

Anthony also prepared by readying the menu to summon a bark scorpion at any moment. Fourteen adults brought four groups of children of which there were about 37 kids enough people to fill all four rooms in the basement. The children and adults both carried necessities food water sleeping bags one teacher was carrying a couple of cloth bags that obviously held animal's they were surprisingly prepared. Behind them a physically fit male teacher was barring the doors by locking and bracing them with more locks on chains through each of the pushable doors handles the teacher did this three different times. The kids seemed to quiet down as he finished he was holding a crowbar with a bit of blood on the end of it. He kneeled (now kids i know this hasn't been the best of days but you know that were gonna protect you and after a little while maybe a couple days we should get information on these radios when it's safe to leave now remember to always stay with your homeroom teacher).

A little girl of maybe eight raised her hand (yes Elaine what is it) asked the teacher. (But what about the monsters mr Moorson will our parents be alright). Mr Moorson gave a smile and ruffled Elaine's hair as he said (don't worry i'm sure everyone's parents are fine and no monster is ever going to make it past me after all I'm the strongest guy around now let's get an early afternoon nap I'm sure everyone's a little tired after the day we had). After the kids were taken into each of the rooms a male teacher approached Mr Moorson informing him of the cave they found at the end of the next hallway. (Just blockade the doorway to it for now let all the teachers know quietly don't want to scare the kids anymore then they already are after those damn skeletons and corpses started appearing nothing's been making any sense how in the world am i a freaking Runic warrior I mean come on Richard). (hey at least you aren't a dang Tamer i know i take care of all the class pets but how exactly am i a Tamer half of them don't even like me I've put them in the closet with the spare tanks for now) replied Richard.

Anthony could barely hear them but after he heard them say blockade instead of enter he calmed down well at least he now knew he was in a school. These feelings of relief were passed on to his creatures who promptly returned to the previous program of mouse gundam. Anthony was a little interested in the undead monsters they were talking about but it wasn't as if he could get up and walk outside. Anthony decided to ignore things he couldn't really interact with he could see from his entrance teachers stacking desks and other things around his entrance. The teachers slowly finished their barrier but some of the teachers were interested in the dungeon particularly the clacking sounds of rocks hitting each other.

After a while as Anthony wasn't able to tell time he wasn't sure how long it'd been but he did know that the day had ended cause he gained another 25dp. Anthony happily used the dp to buy the ice elemental spawn point and set it on the opposite side of the earth elemental spawn point. The ice elemental spawn point took the form of a small puddle that was covered in a thin layer of ice on the left side of Anthony. This puddle seemed to be fed water through a hole in the wall the ice on the surface of the puddle slowly took the form of a ball about the size of a baseball. This ball was the ice elemental which proceeded to roll out of it's puddle and into the patrolling earth elementals joining them in circling me.

Anthony watched as the earth elementals seemed to not mind the ice elemental at all in fact they welcomed it into the fold. Anthony was enjoying his new company until he spotted movement outside the dungeon it seemed to be the gym teacher again along with a couple other teachers. Mr Moorson (have we picked up anything on the radios besides bad news it's been almost seven hours). Richard (not yet but all the kids are asleep even though almost all of them had to have an adult with them when they went to sleep) he replied. Mr Moorson sighed (Thank god this isn't a big school and we had all the extra stuff down here those movies really helped in calming the kids down). The third woman nodded her head (It's also pretty great that we have our own generator along with ten barrels of gas for it).

The woman then grabbed a chair siting down (all I've heard on the radio wasn't that good it seems that we were pretty lightly hit but the town a couple miles down the road seemed to have been raided by all the undead that came out of the cemetery). Mr Moorson patted her shoulder (thanks Anna i know it can't be easy going through all those different radio stations it'll be John's turn next while you rest for the night) he nodded to John who walked towards the broom closet. Richard walked closer to the blockade (thankfully whatever made this seems to be content to bang rocks against each other off and on instead of coming to us speaking of which any ideas on what to do about this tunnel thing Daniel). Daniel Moorson shook his head (man if only the phones worked we could do so much more I hate to ask again but was anything said on the military radio station) Daniel looked at Anna who only shook her head.

Anthony while slightly intrigued wasn't really interested in them as he was watching his first intruder slowly make its way to his dungeon core. The invader was what seemed to be a gecko of some kind it was a little bigger then his mice but not by much. The problem with this intruder was that it seemed to not care about anything else in his dungeon it was almost as if it could sense where he was and was rushing to him. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem as there's only one path through the dungeon currently but a normal animal should show some interest or at least caution around new things like the cacti for example.

The gecko made record timing in making it's way to he dungeon core but that wasn't a problem because the moment it was in range it was shot by three pebbles and one equally small ice ball. The gecko didn't die from this attack surprisingly instead it was only knocked out but the fall from the ceiling did the trick it wasn't a pretty sight to say the least. While Anthony observed the dead gecko a screen popped up (you have gained 3dp new animal detected would you like to absorb it's corpse and gain access to it's species yes/no). When Anthony selected yes the body of the gecko seemed to sink into the dungeon floor.
