49 Keno (part 2)

"What is this place? What is going on?"

Irina and Keno had arrived at a small village but it was completely covered in flames. People were running in panic and the sound of children crying was echoing in the entire forest. It was a hurtful sight.

The little houses were made of wood and palm, they were easily set on fire, and the ones doing it, were using magic, powerful fire magic difficult to break. Even Irina was impressed, the spell was something ancient from centuries ago. She hadn't seen anyone use it now as it was prohibited and considered black magic.

"Run! Protect the children!"

The one shouting was a man with some red tattoos around his arms. He seemed to be the head of the village and nows was leading his soldiers to attack the invaders. However, they didn't use any weapons or magic, they transformed themselves into big panthers with ferocious claws and fangs. It was a majestic and impressive scene.
