2 Life with the Collins (2)

Alessandra bit her lip and turned her head away from the sight of Edgar struggling to get his fork out of Eli's grip. If she watched any longer, she was bound to laugh and make Edgar more frustrated than he already was. Edgar underestimated just how tightly Eli could hold onto something he liked and not let it go.

Edgar could get rid of her enemies and help bring down Grant, but he failed to take a fork from their son's hands. If Edgar kept the fork away from Eli any longer, their home would soon be filled with cries until a maid would bring a toy he liked.

Alfred felt the need to get up and help Edgar with it. It wouldn't be long before they would need to place a plate on the table for Elijah.

"I told you to let me try putting him to bed before we sat down for dinner, but you insisted on holding him. Sally is still around. Give him to her to hold while we finish eating," said Alessandra.
