7 Chapter 7: Power Awaken

Elastor and Julia attacked the prison under the castle. Elastor killed the guards here and Julia got the key to the cell. Many knights massively entered the prison to arrest them. Elastor and Julia immediately went into the dungeon, they released many prisoners here who had been killers. The prisoners frantically attacked the knights and bought time for Elastor and Julia. They went around the dungeon looking for Eva, Julia said loudly:

"Eva, where are you?"

The two passed through a cell and suddenly turned around, it was Eva's prison. Eva was sleeping at the moment from the shock of betrayal. Julia said:

"Eva, there you are. Elastor open the cell door now."

Elastor hurriedly opened the cell door and they went inside to save Eva. Elastor unlocked the chain and Julia tried to wake Eva up, she said:

"Eva wake up. We're here."

Eva slowly opened her eyes, she looked at Julia and said:

"Julia?"

The chain was unlocked, Julia cried and quickly hugged Eva and said:

"Eva, I'm sorry. I betrayed you to save my mother, but she's dead."

"Julia, it's okay. I'm sorry too for not thinking for you. What happened to her?"

"She was turned into a Zombie, I'm heartbroken but I have to free her."

"Oh no, who can do it?"

Elastor replied:

"A guy in a crow mask, talk time is over, let's go."

"Elastor? What are you doing here?"

Elastor looked around the dungeon, he said:

"Zed and I came to save you. Damn, the main road is blocked, have to go deeper into the dungeon."

"Where's Zed?"

"Perhaps still looking for you in the castle, but I did see his battlefield. Follow me."

The three who left the cell and met them outside were the Famine Riders Exos. Elastor raised his greatsword in defense and said:

"I will confront him."

Exos looked at them, he said nothing and seemed to have no intention of attacking. Exos raised his hand and pointed behind him as if showing them the way. The three people were surprised, they slowly passed Exos and then ran in the direction he pointed. Exos watched them go and mysteriously left the prison. Elastor, Eva, Julia were running, he said:

"Who was his name earlier?"

Julia replied:

"Exos Warth, Horseman of Famine. One of The Four Horsemen of Apocalypsse."

"I wonder if he's pointing the right way or is luring us into a trap."

They reached a hand-drawn elevator, Elastor said:

"What is this?"

Julia replied:

"Elevators bring food to all floors in the castle. We can use this to go up."

They entered the elevator, Elastor pulled the rope to bring them up, he said:

"You guys hurry back to the Dream Workshop. I'll find Zed and go with him later."

Elastor threw Eva his cloak. Eva says:

"No, I'll go find Zed. He went out of his way to save me, I can't leave him."

"We could be surrounded and arrested, you have to go first."

"Without Zed, I'm not going."

"Damn it, don't get in my way."

They went up to the Zed floor and Hatai fought for the first time and started looking for Zed. Suddenly there was a huge explosion in an upstairs room, Elastor said:

"It's probably Zed, let's go."

They went upstairs and through the hallway filled with fire, Eva said:

"This is Zack Madness, he is the strongest of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the only one to use fire."

Elastor took out his greatsword and whispered:

"Damn it, you should be alive, Zed."

They got to where Zed and Zack were fighting and found him weak. The room where they fought had a wall blown up. Zack lunged forward to slash at Zed, but Zed was able to block him. Zack pushed Zed back to knock him out of the castle. The Knight rushed to bite Zack's arm and pulled him away, Zed rushed up and slashed at Zack but he was unharmed. The Colossus pounced on The Knight and pinned him down. The Knight bit The Colossus in the neck and The Colossus spewed fire and tried to hit The Knight. Zack slammed the ax into Zed's stomach and slammed the ax handle into his face. Zed was injured and lay down. Zack slashed the axe down at Zed, but he rotated his sword and blocked it. The other three saw Zed resisting Zack, Eva said loudly:

"Zed!"

Zed tried to look at Eva, he said:

"Eva, go quickly! I'll hold him off."

Zack turned to Eva and said:

"The Colossus, capture the princess."

The Colossus whipped its tail to repel The Knight and then ran to attack Eva. Elastor covered Eva to protect her. The Colossus pounced on Elastor but it was stopped. The Knight bit The Colossus's left leg behind and pulled it back. The lion spit fire at Elastor but he rotated his greatsword to block it. Julia said:

"What monster is that?!"

Zed replied:

"I'll explain later, damn it."

Zed's sword missed and Zack's axe slashed right next to his head. Zack punched Zed in the stomach, injuring him more and spitting out blood. Elastor lunged forward to attack Zack, but he turned around and hit him hard against the wall. Elastor spit out blood, he said:

"Damn it, his power is so powerful."

Julia lunges at Zack, who tried to punch her but she slided down to dodge. Julia punched Zack repeatedly in the stomach but did no harm to him. Zack grabbed Julia by the neck and lifted her up. He slowly squeezed tighter and Julia tried to free herself. Eva suddenly stabbed a knife into Zack's hand, he released Julia. Zack said angrily:

"So weak."

Zack spinned his axe to kill Eva but Zed pushed him away and pinned him down. Zed punched Zack repeatedly in the face. Zed said:

"Go, Eva. I'll be fine."

"No Zed, I will no longer be afraid and will fight."

Zack grabbed Zed's left hand and broke his arm. Zed screamed in pain. The Knight and The Colossus rushed forward and banged their heads against each other. They turned and whipped their tails against each other, the darkness and the fire slamming into each other with equal strength. Seeing that Zed was badly injured, The Knight scratched The Colossus in the face and ran to save Zed. The Colossus pounced on The Knight and pulled it back. The lion spat fire at the wolf but it created a shield of darkness to block it. The gold-armored knights rushed to where they were fighting. Zack said:

"You've already lost, no one can defeat me."

Zack let go of Zed's left hand, he raised his axe Bloody at Zed and said:

"You go to die."

The wounded Elastor ran to help Zed, Julia gasped from being strangled so hard, The Knight was about to be killed by The Colossus. Zack slammed his axe down on Zed. Zed and Eva looked at each other like they were about to say goodbye, and Eva shouted:

"Stop!"

Eva's whole body radiated a golden white light, her eyes shining, surprising everyone. Zack stopped looking at Eva and said:

"What are you doing?"

Eva reached out her hand and summoned Gloria Bow Peace. She drew her bow and created an arrow of light aimed at Zack. He rushed to attack Eva. Eva said:

"Rise up."

Zack got very close to Eva, she shot arrows of light at him. The arrow created a very strong force, Zack endured and advanced, he said:

"What kind of power is this?"

Zack weakened, he was exhausted and is repelled by the arrow of light. Zack was shot out of the castle, he fell to the house below where he fainted and was defeated. The Colossus also disappeared. Eva turned around and drew her bow to create a new arrow of light aimed at the gold-armored knights. She shot an arrow that defeated them all. But Eva gradually lost control, she created five arrows and pointed them all over the castle. Eva will destroy the entire castle if she continued. Zed rushed over and grabbed Eva's hand and said:

"Stop it Eva, you've already defeated them."

Eva stops, the Peace bow disappears. Eva looked at the defeated knights and saw Zack gone, she said:

"What just happened?"

Zed breathed a sigh of relief, he said:

"Everything is fine."

The Knight entered Zed's shadow, and he collapsed wearily. Eva helped Zed look at him, she burst into tears and said:

"Zed, thank you for saving me."

Elastor went to help Julia and said:

"Let's go. Before more soldiers arrive."

Eva replied:

"But which way do we go. The surroundings are surrounded."

Elastor thought for a moment and then he looked outside the destroyed wall. He saw behind the castle's defense wall a large bush of straw. Elastor said:

"There's a way, we'll jump out of the castle. Let me carry Zed."

Eva replied:

"What? Where are we going to land?"

Elastor handed Julia to Eva, he said:

"Let's jump out of the room into the dust of straw below."

"What?"

Elastor pushed Eva and Julia into the dust of straw below, they landed successfully. Elastor carried Zed and jumped down too. Some soldiers came to attack them, but they were no match for Elastor. Everyone quickly exited the castle and headed back to the Dream workshop. Urizen who was looking outside the castle saw them retreating, he said:

"Very good cousin, you are stronger than before."

Laura behind said:

"Will the meeting still take place?"

"Yes, Eva won't be able to do anything because she's tired."

"Why did you let them escape?"

"I could catch them but I want to see if Eva is really qualified to face me in this battle for the throne. I'm also interested in Zed, you said you saw something special about him. ."

"A rare and talented warrior, Hatai was defeated by him."

"And the Elf that followed Zed, I'm surprised he defeated the Reaper. Where is he?"

"Damn you bastard Elf. I will find and kill you for killing my children."

Urizen walked past Hatai, he was still fainting and was being carried by ten people but couldn't. Urizen entered his room, he looked at the map of all four kingdoms of the Highland Continent. Urizen said:

"Father, I will continue to follow your wish and dream to unite the Highland Continent under one flag. But not by war but by talk and negotiation. That's the only way I can unify all the kingdoms."

Back at the Dream workshop, Zed was bandaged up and resting in bed. The others were also bandaged and were sitting downstairs in the main room. Elastor said:

"It's painful and tiring, luckily Zed sells bandages and medicine."

Elastor took a bottle of wine to drink, Julia quickly snatched the bottle and said:

"You're hurt, let me drink."

Julia drank that bottle of wine. Elastor said:

"Wait, inside that bottle is Elf wine."

Julia suddenly stopped drinking, her face red and dizzy like drunk. Julia lay down and fell asleep. Elastor said:

"Wow, her drinking capacity is really weak."

Eva was worried about Zed, she said:

"Zed will be okay? His wound is very severe."

"He'll be fine. Zed has always suffered more severe injuries than that."

"That's fine. Ah Elastor, I forgot to thank you for saving me and Julia."

"It's okay, anyway, because Zed asked me to come along."

"That's right Elastor, I wanted to ask you about Zed's past. You two are best friends right, so Zed must have told you his story."
