14 Chapter 14: The Riser

King Zenhector was present and will face the Crusadia team. Eva said:

"King Zenhector, I am Princess Eva Gloria, daughter of King Arthur Gloria. I have come here to speak to you."

Many people in the arena were shocked with Eva, no one knew what happened to her when Urizen usurped the throne. Zenhector said:

"Princess Eva Gloria? Didn't Urizen say King Arthur passed the throne to him?'

Eva replied:

"Urizen killed the king, usurped my throne and became king. I know his plan was to form an alliance between the four kingdoms but there may be a conspiracy behind it."

"Really? But why should I trust you? Urizen has made the leaders an interesting and beneficial proposition for us. We cannot ignore this benefit."

"Please, Urizen has broken the Royal Law common to the four kingdoms by usurping the throne of the rightful successor. I am the rightful successor of King Arthur."

Zenhector raised his axe and said:

"So where's your Elemental Spirit?"

Eva was surprised, she replied:

"I still don't have the Elemental Spirit."

"Every member of the royal family has an Elemental Spirit. The Gloria family is the Light Spirit, the Corput family is the Earth Spirit, the Yus family is the Shadow Spirit, and the Quart family is the Nature Spirit. You don't have an Elemental Spirit, you don't belong to the royal family."

Zenhector jumped to the Crusadia team. Zed said:

"Elastor!"

Zenhector slashed his axe down on them. Zed and Elastor crossed each other's swords and blocked Zenhector's attack. Their swords appeared small cracks. Zed and Elastor thought to themselves:

"Damn it."

Zenhector said:

"Zed! Did you come back here to die?"

Zenhector pinned down Zed and Elastor's swords making them both kneel. Zed and Elastor tried to push back but they couldn't, Zenhector looked at Elastor and said:

"An Elf? Then this battle is even better."

Zed replied:

"I didn't come here to die, but to change."

Zed released darkness and Elastor released electricity. The duo stood up and pushed Zenhector up. Zenhector swung his ax and hit Zed and Elastor so they quickly dodged. Eva shot an arrow at Zenhector, he took the hit and was unharmed. Zenhector said:

"It's nothing."

Zenhector slashed down with his ax, knocking the Crusadia team in many directions. Julia said:

"What is this power?"

Zed replied:

"I do know that Zenhector is the most physically powerful of all the kings of the Sandx."

Julia said:

"What?!"

Lamalia observed the battle and said:

"No one can fight father. Zed, although you are sorry, my father is too aggressive in this battle."

Zenhector suddenly appeared behind Julia and said:

"Don't talk much in battle."

Zenhector swung his ax at Julia, who turned and punched the blade. Zenhector slashed at Mega Gloves, destroying it. Julia was shocked at her weapon being destroyed, she said:

"What's going on?"

Zenhector hit Julia with his ax, sending her flying towards the spikes. Elastor said:

"The Stars!"

The Star jumped out of Elastor and ran to catch Julia before she was injured. Elastor said:

"Damn, he's too strong. Zed, where's your Matrix?"

Zed replied:

"I've given all my strength to confront Lamalia, my darkness is dwindling."

Elastor said:

"The Star, lightning."

The Star shot lightning bolts at Zenhector, he said loudly:

"The Berserker!"

Zed hastily said:

"Elastor, wait!"

Lightning struck Zenhector, a huge explosion exploded and smoke was everywhere. The smoke went away and a gorilla with iron armor appeared and blocked all of his lightning. Elastor was surprised, he said:

"Is that Zenhector's Elemental Spirit? What is it?"

Zenhector replied:

"This is The Berserker, my Elemental Spirit. Its element is earth. And now, attack him The Berserker."

The Berserker slammed into the ground repeatedly, the ground shaking causing the whole arena to shake. The Berserker smashed up the rocks and threw it at Elastor. He lunged forward and slashed the oncoming rocks in half. Elastor overcame the rocks and jumped up and slashed The Berserker. It crossed its arms and pushed Elastor away. The Berserker roared and threw a fist at him. Elastor immediately blocked its fist with the side of the sword. They pushed each other fiercely but The Berserker grew stronger. The Star ran over and launched electricity at The Berserker but did no harm to it. The Berserker punched harder and punched Elastor away. The Star disappeared and Elastor landed on the ground on his back. He spat out blood and said:

"Damn it."

Elastor stood up but immediately knelt down, he said:

"Pressure is too powerful."

Julia ran to help Elastor, she said:

"Are you OK?"

Elastor replied:

"It's terrible, I can't beat him. Zed and Eva have to work really hard. Wait, your gloves."

Julia said:

"I know, I'll be fine."

Zenhector looked over at Eva and Zed. Zed said:

"Eva, shoot him with arrows to distract him. I'll use all my darkness to defeat him."

Eva replied:

"But you just said you're running out of darkness."

"Still enough for a few minutes. Please help me."

Zed said:

"The Knights!"

The Knight was summoned and howled. Zenhector looked over to them and said:

"Great, it's already out, I'll defeat you soon."

Zed replied:

"Let's see."

The Knight released the darkness but not much, it jumped and combined with the sword Dante and created the sword Devil Wolf. Zed's shoulders and knees appeared dark. Zenhector said:

"The Berserker, Earthquake!"

The Berserker hit the ground repeatedly and created two earth fists. It lunged forward and punched Zed, he launched a wave of darkness at it. The Berserker smashed the wave and slammed its hands down. Zed immediately dodged and slashed at The Berserker. It parried and punched Zed in the stomach. Zed stepped back and spat out blood. Eva shot three arrows at The Berserker, it instantly smashed the arrows and rushed to attack Eva. Zed lunged forward and slashed repeatedly at The Berserker. It also repeatedly punched back to parry the slash. The Devil Wolf blade was shrouded in darkness, and Zed shot a beam of darkness from the blade at The Berserker. It crossed its arms and was slowly pushed back. The two earth fists were destroyed and The Berserker was retreated to Zenhector. Suddenly, the darkness on Zed gradually faded, The Knight separated from the Devil Sword and stood beside him. Zed said:

"Damn it, my darkness and The Knight's are all exhausted."

Eva replied:

"Zed, you don't have enough power to fight him."

Zed said:

"No, I can still fight. The Knight withdraws now, I will confront him myself."

The Knight replied:

"But master."

Zed said:

"This is my command."

The Knight couldn't argue with that, so he had to withdraw. Zenhector said:

"You let the Elemental Spirits retreat, so should I."

The Berserker also withdrew. Zenhector said:

"Ready, I don't have a Spirit but I'm still more powerful than you."

Zed and Zenhector rushed at each other. Zenhector swung his ax at Zed so he jumped to dodge. Eva's arrows shot at Zenhector from behind. He continued to swing his axe to destroy the arrows and then unleashed an earth wave at her. Eva was hit by the blow, her bow dropped and she fell back. Zed floated in midair and kicked Zenhector repeatedly in the face. He seemed unhurt and took all the kicks. Zenhector grabbed Zed's leg and slammed him to the ground. Zed spat blood, but Zenhector repeatedly slammed him to the ground. Eva quickly grabbed her bow and pointed it at Zenhector, but she was afraid to hit Zed. Zed said:

"Shoot him."

Eva replied:

"But I'm afraid of hitting you."

Zed said:

"It's okay, just shoot."

Eva then shot an arrow at Zenhector. Suddenly the arrow hit Zed's left leg and made him fall back. Zed, Elastor and Julia shouted angrily:

"What the hell?!"

Eva replied:

"Because you told me to shoot."

Zed stood up and drew the arrow away, blood flowing down. Zed said angrily:

"Damn Eva, why does it hurt so bad?!"

Eva replied:

"It's an arrow of light, it's very hot you know."

Zed staggered because of the wound on his left leg. Zenhector said:

"It's boring that you get injured accidentally, I want to fight when you're at the peak of your power."

Zed replied:

"Unfortunately, I'm past that point. Let's keep fighting."

Eva and Lamalia said together:

"Stop it Zed, you can't fight anymore."

Zed replied gruffly:

"It's all your fault Eva. And you Lamalia, why are you standing there?"

Lamia replied:

"Because I don't want to disturb my father during the battle."

Zed and Zenhector rushed to fight each other. They slashed at each other repeatedly but were parried by the other. Eva fired arrows into Zenhector's back but did not harm him. Zenhector swung his axe so hard at Zed's sword that Zed lost his balance. Zed stepped back, but Zenhector slashed his axe into his sword, causing him to drop his sword. Zenhector hit Zed in the face with the handle of the axe, causing him to lie down. Zed spat out blood and looked at Zenhector. He said:

"You killed my son, now I will take your life."

Zenhector raised his axe high and said:

"Ready for your last hour."

Eva concentrated her power into a huge arrow of light. She drew her bow and said:

"Let go of Zed."

Eva shoots her arrow of light at Zenhector. He immediately turned around and swung his ax to destroy Eva's strongest arrow of light, he said:

"Just a little thing."

Eva was shocked, she said:

"Impossible."

Zenhector turned back to Zed and slashed his axe down. Zed quickly grabbed his sword to block. The sword and the axe were confronting each other and repelled each other. Suddenly Champion axe broke sword Dante's blade and stuck it in Zed's shoulder. Blood gushed out and Zed endured. Zed looked at his legendary sword broken after so many battles and said:

"Damn it. Devil sword Dante."

Zenhector raised his axe high again and he slashed it down at Zed again. Zed immediately caught the blades on both sides, but Zenhector kept holding the axe down. The ax was about to touch Zed's chest, he said:

"If this is the only way to see you again, I'll accept it."

Suddenly Eva's whole body shined, she said:

"I won't let anyone bleed anymore, stop now."

Zenhector pressed the ax while turning to look at Eva, he said:

"This power could be..."

Eva absorbed the sunlight, she raised her hand in front of the sun and said:

"Give me the power so I can protect everyone."

On Eva's left shoulder appeared a white unicorn tattoo, she said:

"Let's fight, my new friend."

A white unicorn created from sunlight appeared beside Eva, its hair white and shiny like a cloud. Elastor, Julia, and Lamalia looked at Eva's Elemental Spirit and said:

"Spirit of Light?"

Zed looked at the unicorn and thought:

"Last time she was able to summon a weapon but this time it was an Elemental Spirit, she keeps getting stronger over time under sunlight."

Zenhector picked up the axe and said:

"You just lie there, I'll take care of her first."

Julia said loudly:

"Eva, run now."

Eva stood beside the unicorn, she said:

"Is this my Elemental Spirit? A light unicorn spirit."

They looked into each other's eyes. Eva said:

"I will name you The Riser, and we will rise and mature to be able to protect everyone and take everything back."

Zenhector summoned The Berserker and said:

"The Berserker, enter my weapon."

The Berserker smashed his chest and combined with Champion axe to turn it into the Gilgamesh axe(It was an axe with a bigger blade than before, two fists of gorilla on both sides and the handle as big as a tree body). Zenhector held the axe with both hands because the axe was so big and heavy, he said:

"Even though you've proven you have the Spirit of Light, prove your power first. I'll pounce on you, if you parry it then you're from the royal family."

Eva and The Riser shined even more light, she said:

"Come here."

Zenhector laughed, he said:

"Okay, accept this attack from me."

Zenhector jumped high and slashed the axe down. The slashing force was so strong that the surrounding air was severed. Eva raised her bow and created an Arrow of Light. The Riser added light to that arrow making it stronger and bigger. This power took everyone by surprise. The Riser said:

"Arrow of Light."

Eva's eyes lit up, she released her bow and fired Arrow of Light at Zenhector. The Arrow of Light and Gilgamesh axe collided creating a huge force, the wave of the two attacks shook the arena and even the city. Zenhector looked at the Arrow of Light and said:

"She did it, the first to parry this attack."

Everything lit up brightened everything. Then the light gradually softened, Eva was still standing with The Riser and Zenhector stood upright but his clothes were torn and his body was burned black. Zed looked at Zenhector and thought to himself:

"Is he alive? What the hell?"

Lamalia helped Zed up and said:

"She's so powerful, it's been a long time since I've seen such power."

Zed replied:

"Even I was surprised."

Zed, Lamalia, Elastor and Julia came to Eva's side. She lay down exhausted and The Riser vanished. Zed looked at her and said:

"Congratulations, your plan is working."

Eva smiled happily and replied:

"Thanks everyone."

Eva was helped by everyone to get up. Zenhector approached them and said:

"Infuriated, you dared to parry the attack I am most proud of."

Zenhector and Lamalia knelt down and said respectfully:

"Welcome to the Sandx kingdom, princess Eva Gloria."

Everyone in the arena knelt before Eva, they said respectfully:

"Your majesty."

Zed said:

"Well, the people of Sandx are very welcoming to all the guests."

Everyone stood up. Zenhector said:

"May I ask why you didn't say you were the princess of Gloria kingdom first?"

Crusadia team was enraged, they shouted:

"You never gave us any explanation!"

Zenhector laughed and said:

"Sorry it's my fault. Come on princess, let's go to the castle to rest and shower and then we'll talk."

Eva replied:

"Thank you very much, King Zenhector."

Crusadia Team followed Zenhector and Lamalia into Sandx Castle. The Arena of Champions was almost destroyed after the battle. Crusadia team had reached the city of Sandx and must convince King Zenhector to fight with them. By this time, Alata and the assassins had also reached Sandx city, they smoothly entered the city and began hunting Crusadia team.
