My name is Douglas Flux and I was your average 16 year old high school boy.

I didn't like anything in particular other than reading and playing games.

I had a part-time job to support myself because I was orphaned at the age of 5 by a drunk driver, and after that incident I started to stay with my aunt and uncle.

I lived without any worries until my aunt had a baby. Ever since my niece was born I was neglected by my aunt and uncle.

When I became 14 they asked me to get a job if I wanted to stay with them, and I got a part-time job at a restaurant.

One day while I was coming back from my part-time job I got a notification.

This was from my favorite web novel that I read every day. In honor of its 5000th chapter they decided to make a live action of it. I had only read around 960 chapters, but I still decided to enter the giveaway for the live action tickets even though I doubted I'd be one of the 500 chosen with my luck and with those thoughts I got to my 'home'.

Luckily nobody was home. I quickly changed into my pajamas got comfortable and opened my phone.

'Lets see the results of that giveaway' I muttered to myself.

I opened Bootuye, a video and content creation website, and saw the live stream

"Sauboro's adventures live action ticket giveaway!" I clicked on it and the first thing I heard was:

"...and the first winner with the privilege to add a custom character to the live action is... ilovemen505? I think we got a female winner congratulations"

That was the name of my account. Even though it kinda pissed me off they said I was a female I couldn't blame them since my name was like that.

After that thought I immediately opened my email and saw the ticket form. I couldn't hold my excitement in, but how could anyone though?

Amongst thousands of fans I was the first one selected to watch the live action of my favorite novel. Wasn't that like a miracle?

The name seemed weird but it seemed legit so I clicked the link and started to fill out the form.

If I couldn't create my own element this question's answer would be an easy thunder since the main character is a thunder and ice dual element user, and was mostly dependent on lightning for attack power and speed, but since I could create my own elements it became a bit harder to choose.

I know I'm not that smart so I should probably ask someone for help, but that would expose me as the first winner, and there was a chance that people would try to hack my account.

'Hmm, what should I do?' I thought to myself.

The first thing that came to my mind was projectiles since that meant the character could control anything that was thrown at them and that would make them pretty powerful, but I am not sure since it isn't really practical though I really don't have any other good ideas so I think I'll write projectile- wait a minute can I not write more than one?

Nobody told me I only needed to write one affinity.

I'll write projectiles, lightning and earth with the reason for that being, I at least have an idea of how lightning is used since the main character uses it and the character could use earth the way Sauboro used ice to defend themselves that would be the most optimal lineup I could come up with.

Lightning for attack power and agility, earth for defense and support lastly projectiles as a surprise attack method and secret weapon. That character would be pretty cool and overpowered which is just how I like it.

Damn it, I should've been content with just projectiles and not be greedy.

Thanks for cooperating with us and filling the forum.

We will take you to the live action set tomorrow when you wake up since you already filled in your home address. We really liked your choices but unfortunately it would alter the story's plot if we made the custom character too powerful since it will be added to the actual story too thats why we made some changes on your choices.

Dont worry you still have one of the choices you chose we gave the character another freebie on the request of the author but we will not tell you to make it a surprise for you too.

Hmm this is really interesting so they took one of the elements I chose and added another one?

It probably isn't projectiles because it wouldnt fit the story if I think from the authors point of view.

So, I think it'll be lightning since there is no one other than the main character that has the lightning element and the other that will be added would be one that would compliment the lightning element like water. That's my best guess.

"Now that everything I needed to do is over I'll just relax" I said out loud knowing no one was home.

I liked talking to myself when I was alone since not many would talk to me both in school and in the house.

I watched my favorite show One Peace for the rest of the day and when it was 11 o'clock I went to bed clueless about what was to come and how my life would change after that day.
