1 Prologue

Many years ago our world was protected by ten great gods, all the "People" of this world were devotees of them and followed their doctrine and teachings.

Each god had his own domain to administer and bring harmony to the world...

The god who ruled over nature was known as Estes and taught us how every meal is sacred and how everything originated from nature.

The god who ruled over the seas, Qustafe, taught people how to treat marine life with respect and gratitude due to them giving us the food that we need from their own ecosystem.

Rai, the goddess who ruled over the climate and taught us how the heavens were divine and only the creations of god could conquer it.

And her brother Torai, the god who ruled over the fire and taught how the grace of heat was something to be cherished and loved.

These four were known as the "Essence of the world" having their own religion, the "Church of the Essence" which always had a large majority of devoted devotees when compared to others churches, most of them being artisans and researchers.

Gandas was a violent goddess who ruled over the conflicts and laws, her teachings taught people, especially the warriors, that taking a life was something to be proud of and deserves respect but only when done fairly, murders still being repudiated as a crime.

Turio, the god who ruled over death and taught how death was needed for the cycle of life be preserved, and how every living being has a soul that has to be respected, his followers consist mostly of mages of the Soul-Attribute and those who are trying to make forbidden magic.

Furioz, the god who ruled life and order, his teachings made it very clear how much he repudiates the act of taking the lives of other people, and how much he appreciates women who give birth to new lives for the world, he also taught people that the best form of justice is keeping the life and order as it is.

Arkaria, the goddess who ruled over time and space, her teachings varied between from how to determine the time of day, what day we are, and how physics works.

Grandzi, the God who takes care of the memories and records of the world, he does not communicate so much with people, only organizing the memories of the people to serve as entertainment for the gods, something like boasting about the best people even after their deaths.

and finally Humulus who was also known as the First, he who ruled over the cycle of souls, his teachings were more like prophecies of things that would happen than about how to do something about the prophecies, and his decision was the most important among the decisions of the gods, it was said that he was the first to create a human in the world.

All ten gods administered the world and the races that live in it, there are the three great races that are said to have been created by the gods themselves.

The myths say that from using his own hair, Humulus, and the energy of the life-attribute the Real Humans were born, who had the virtue and compassion of a god and the discipline necessary to help with the development of the world, and they were the first to discover the Non-Attribute as well.

Seeing that Humulus had created a race on his own, the four gods of the Essence united theirs powers and from that, the Solar Elves were born, they had the energy of nature in their blood and could live in any forest land and still communicate with the spirits of the elements, making the Spirit-Attribute be born as well.

Gandas, seeing the creations of the other gods, used his own saliva and blood to create a race and from that were born the Earthlings, beings that had heights different from those of humans and elves, and had a greater thirst for battles than the others, their main characteristics was their robust bodies that were able to survive in arid lands and caves without a problem, most of them specialized in mining or forging.

Each one of the races allocated themselves in different places in order to increase their own numbers and create their own culture.

The Real Humans who were good in several matters but masters in few, allocated themselves in the central part of the continent that they lived, that was largely formed by plains and some forests, it was possible to count on the fingers the number of mountains that existed, the continent was vast and the lands were perfect to cultivate fields for farming, and thanks to the big amount of churches they called it, "Szerar, the sacred continent."

The Solar Elves moved to the western side of Szerar which was formed by a forest whose trees absorbed energy, this phenomenon led the forest to be called "Soldrin, the primordial forest."

The Earthlings, separated in three tribes and went to three different places in Szerar, the first tribe was known as the Giant's tribe, not because they were giants, but because the leader was called Takir Giant, in contrast, they were below the normal height of the humans but their spirits were enormous, this tribe moved to the mountains and made their place in caverns, making the name "Giant's Tomb" for their place, even if Giant was still alive by then.

The second tribe was known as Galvo's Tribe, they were people with the same height as normal humans and had a tribal tattoo, their leader was Fran Galvo and he was known as the Earth God, because of his strength and control of the Earth-Attribute, his tribe moved to the only desert in the continent and made their own place to stay, but they had a rule that every man who reached a certain age had to participate in a Trial as to receive his tattoo and be accepted as a true man by the others, their place and the trial was called "Fran's Pass".

The last tribe which had his information not shared to other people was called "Troll's Tribe", they hadn't made a place of their own, the only thing that people knew about them was that they were nomads.

Several years later, each race had already their own kingdom, the Humans made their own monarchy, the Elves had their own villages across Soldrin and each one with their own village chiefs, the Earthlings were developing their own ways to survive in the mountains and deserts, and the Troll's were still unknown for most people, some even said that those who encounter them are granted with rich life for decades.

It was around summer when everyone was living in peace, letting their guards down since there were no conflicts occurring, that was good for people but bad for Gandas the goddess of conflicts, even if she wanted to do something about that, she couldn't just make conflicts arise for her own pleasure, so while waiting for something to happen, a baby was born, as it was a baby from two hybrids parents it surely would cause him to have a rough life however just that would not be enough for Gandas to pay attention to him.

The problem was that the baby had no aptitude for any of the attributes that were known in this world, but the others gods didn't care about it as they thought the kid was just a non-Attribute, but Gandas had a feeling that it wasn't so simple, so as if hoping that the kid would make her wish become true, she gave a blessing to the kid without saying anything to the others gods.

The kid that later on would be known as the "Nightmare God".
