The Dream Intrusion

The angels don’t bargain the rewards they offer you. The devil, however, is a beguiling negotiant. His offer seemed so prosperous. I vex at the memory where everything came to grief and fate turned to rubble. I could've gone back to the mortal realm, maybe seen my family once more, but the Dream Magus promised me immortality if I were to fight for his side during the Ephialtes Wars. This gifted immortality has become my greatest burden. I am stuck in dreamscape - a cavern of my own imagination. A space to create whatever I wish until the dawn of time. It was supposed to be mine, but there is an intruder- a beautiful intrusion... and she knows more than she is letting on.
