1 Meeting An Old Flame.

(Kingdom Of Cel)

Vail walks around the town, earning many eyes but he ignores them and goes about his day until a courier runs up to him "Hey there, got something Im supposed to deliver, your hands only... let's see here, Ah, I have a letter from the king for you" Vail takes the letter and reads it, "Ugh, just when I thought I was done for today" he heads to the castle".

(Cel Castle, Throne Room)

Vail walks in and walks up to the king "You called Taein" Taein nods "Indeed, do come with me" he gets up off his throne and leads Vail to a secluded room, "I've been receiving a lot of threats lately and-" Vail growls "Assassination threats!" The king shakes his head "Not exactly... you see the previous ruler here was a sorceress, supposedly killed, only recently I received letters from her that I am to give her back her land but the council refuse and she now threats to kill us all" Vail nods "I'll handle it Taein, don't worry" Taein nods "Thank you, her fortress is just southwest of here about 4 miles away in the Chill mountains" Vail nods and leaves for the fortress.

(Near The Fortress, Chill Mountains)

Vail sees the fortress in the distance, it's built with a massive spire, he sees some hills near it, he makes his way up the hills and asses the defences "Hm, her guards are living suits of armour, her archers are reanimated corpses and her commanders are fellow sorceresses" Vail thinks for a moment before he hears a whistling sound and instinctively moves out of the way and looks behind him to an arrow imbedded in the tree he was next to, he looks back at the fortress and sees that the archers have spotted him, he throws a smoke bomb and disappears in a flash of lighting.

The archers on the battlements search for him only to be knocked out by him teleporting behind them all, he then jumps down and fights the suits of armour, he fries them and they fall, he then heads into the main fortress.

(First Floor, Fortress)

Vail carefully walks around watching for more guards or traps, he then notices that the air is slightly warmer than normal, he ignores it and continues on, he hears footsteps coming from nearby, he sees a gap in the wall and hides in it while watching where the footsteps are coming from. Three commanders appear and converse, the first one sighs "He is certainly skilled, he managed to kill them all without issue" the second one nods "Agreed, I can see why our mistress treats the DragonKnights with such caution" the third one sighs "Well, where is he now, I want to know wether he's as strong as they say" the first one sighs "Soon, Leia soon" the three then walk off" Vail thinks on what he heard. "Hm, whoever this sorceress is she must have been quite the queen to know how powerful the DragonKnights are, we don't normally let information like that out just anywhere" he heads further in and eventually comes upon a capture, he sees a tied up girl likely no older than 18, he checks around for any traps before releasing her "You ok" the girl nods "Yeah, thank you, she captured me for no reason, I was just exploring" Vail nods "Hm... well would you happen to know where their leader stays" the girl nods "She's usually in the throne room or the living quarters" Vail nods "Thanks...I've dealt with the guards outside, it should be safe to leave just grab some winter clothing or some armour... unless you've got a flame cloak spell handy... it's freezing out there", the girl nods and runs off.

Vail then heads to the throne room.

(Throne Room, Chill Mountains Fortress)

Vail casts an invisibility spell and sneaks through the door, he notices the torches are off, bathing the room in darkness, he slowly walks towards as he does the torches spring to life revealing the massive throne room, Vail looks around and sees artwork and decor all over the place with a distinctive purple, black and gold pattern to them, he then hears the tapping of feet, he turns to see the sorceress he is looking for, she is sitting on her throne with her legs crossed, thankfully not noticing Vail's reflection, he sneaks over to her but just as he gets near the small stairs leading to the throne, she fires a massive gust of wind which breaks his invisibility spell, he flies back and manages to stick his landing only to hear clapping, he looks up and stares at the sorceress who's wearing a veil and mask over her head and face, she laughs "I was wondering when you would get here... Vail" Vail gasps, "How do you-" she cuts him off "You should wear a helmet more often if you don't like people knowing who you are" Vail growls "You know why I'm here sorceress" she nods "Indeed, your doing the bidding of that usurper Taein... that was my kingdom once and it will be again" Vail laughs "Do I know you, because I was stationed at Cel during your supposed reign and never saw you" she smiles "I know" Vail notices a purple vial land next to him, it explodes releasing a purple mist which makes Vail dizzy, "Ahh, what the hell-" he is cut off when he sees the three commanders from before the third one wack's him round the head with her staff, knocking him out.

(A few hours later, The Fortresses Prison)

Vail wakes up in a daze, he try's to move only realise he's chained up to the ceiling with his legs locked into the floor with a metal ball while his arms are held in place by another ball in the ceiling, he struggles against them and realises that his armour is missing to, leaving him in just his pants, he feels the cold and shudders, he fights against the chains some more before hearing two pairs of heeled footsteps headed towards his cell. The metal door opens to reveal the first commander and the sorceress, he growls "Just who are you, how did you figure out that I'm weak to airborne gases" the sorceress laughs "I know more about you and your order than I let on, believe it or not one of you served me as a bodyguard back when I was in power-" Vail growls "I doubt that very much!- Ahh" the first Commander shocks him with her staff "Don't interrupt the mistress". The sorceress sighs "Vila dear, go help the other two prepare for my "return" Vila nods and leaves the room leaving Vail alone with the sorceress, she walks up to him and walks around him while feeling his chest "It's been so long since we last saw each other, Vail" Vail growls "Who are you, you seem familiar but I-" he is cut off by her slapping him "You actually forgot about me...then again I suppose I shouldn't be surprised" Vail shudders again due to the cold. "Who are you really" she smiles beneath her mask "You really have no idea" she removes her veil and mask, revealing her long black hair with a top bun and purple tips at the ends, Vail gasps "Talia?" She smiles "Oh, so you do remember, who knew wearing a silk mask and veil could keep my identity a secret for so long" Vail chatters his teeth "You- how did you get so powerful so quickly" she smirks and grabs Vail's chin "Because my mother was a sorceress and taught me all my abilities...Ah, I missed having you as my bodyguard... so young, polite and shy yet skilled and fierce when protecting me" Vail blushes "Until you started messing with my head" she frowns "I only made you highly suggestible to my voice, and besides no one knew that you were starting to feel for me despite your vows to your order that you could not marry anyone" Vail growls "You tried to make me leave the order, they found out about you being a sorceress and chased you out of the city and sealed off my memory of the events-" Talia kisses him, she then growls lowly "I know... they will pay for that dear, don't you worry" Vail feels uneasy "What... what are you on about-" he sees her cast a spell and form a purple symbol floor next to him, Vail sees his armour appear, Talia sighs "Hm, doesn't look like the armour of my future husband" Vail gasps as she slowly changes his armour to a more powerful set, she then changes the colours to Black, Purple and Gold, she then releases him from the chains and uses her magic to equip the armour to his body, Vail looks at her "What are you" the chains reattach to him and Talia grabs his head "Look into my eyes honey" her eyes glow and Vail feels her slowly force her suggestions upon him, he try's to close his eyes but Talia just forces them back open, Vail struggles in her grip "Talia please" she smiles "Don't fight it my love, just give in to me" Vail slowly feels the chains tighten around him and the armour disappears, he then realises he can't move, "What the, why can't I move" Talia laughs "Because now, you only obey me and only move or act when I say so but right now, I need to "convince" your mind to join me" Vail growls "I'll never join you-" he is cut off by a blindfold wrapping itself around his eyes while a cloth wraps around his mouth, he then feels the chain pull his legs up and attach them to the ball where his hands are, suspending him in the air in a hogtie. Talia smiles "That should stop you escaping... now I just need to make some preparations then I can really convince you" she puts her veil and mask back on and leaves the room, Vail growls and struggles but doesn't get anywhere he sighs and thinks to himself "Jeez, how did she become so... obsessed with me".

(Throne Room)

Talia talks to her commanders "Is the device ready" they nod "Yes mistress, it should break that DragonKnight no problem and if it doesn't then there's always the "hard" way" Talia nods "Good, make sure it works I want to be able to take back my throne by the end of the month, she thinks to herself "Once I do, I am marrying you Vail Sedendum and then we are going to create a kingdom that surpasses all others".
