The Dragon Purge

 The world had been through many wars, calamities, and other hardships but all for the goal of true peace in which the races had desired and accomplished. But those times of peace that had lasted for thousands of years for all of the races of the distant lands across the sea and under the mountains. The Elves, Dwarves, Fauns, Humans, and even the mighty Dragons along with the other mysterious creatures of the world all seemed to be enjoying the peace.

 Little did the races know that for the last hundred or so years the dragons had been tiring of this so-called peace they wished for something more exciting again. For their race still had members alive from a time before the peace unlike the other races they still have memories of the wars that had taken place before and how feared they were.

 A specific young dragon by the name of Bealzar had been told these stories since he was born 200 years ago by the elders of his race would no longer accept the peace that had been around for thousands of years. Everywhere he went he saw nothing but arrogance from the other races none of them feared his elders much less him and he wanted to change that so he and group of his companions that had shared the same thoughts came up with a plan to wipe out in their mind the most disrespectful race of all in the Humans.

 while Bealzar and his four brethren Seagris, Bahomet, Jorgundar, and Durbagan discussed how they would handle the Humans for they didn't know if their metal work was the same and to be careful. after about a month of planning they left early in the morning without arising the elders for they did not know if they would agree. But the elders did agree and had a plan of their own after Bealzar and his companions had flew north to the Human cities and lands. They would go after the other races of the world and start a new war one where they came out ruling.

 Bealzar and his company came into sight of the human cities and realized they had no defenses they were the illiterate barbarians they and the other races thought them to be good at metal work alone. they flew in and destroyed the ramshackle of a place called a city eating families in front of each other while burning it to the ground and smashing the people running by moving from one place to another sparing none until they believed they had killed them all and decided to fly back to their home of the time for a dragon never truly settled down. But unknow to the dragons who had decimated the Human cities and all their towns had forgotten a small smithing village.

 In the northern mountains laid obscured by all of the smoke and death in the land the hidden village of Humans swore to exact their revenge on the dragons and the ones who left them for nothing. They knew they had to stay hidden for now they would perfect their smithing techniques and hone their killing prowess to the max before they showed themselves back to the world that let their race burn to the ground. Unknown to the humans though the other races had been attacked as well and had horrific casualties but in the end were able to repel the dragons that demolished their lands.

 The only ones to go almost unharmed were the mysterious creatures of the land that had hidden themselves before the catastrophe. One thing for certain to all the races was that the 2000 years of peace were no longer. A new war had broken out and the only way peace would come back was the eradication of the Dragons or the destruction of the other races as a whole.
